I very much dislike leaving bad reviews, even to the people that have done me bad , but this clinic…read moreleaves me no choice. Do not get fooled by the fact that there are located in Yorkville, the service does not match the environment at all. I was initially scheduled for a surgery, I recently went to my family doctor, and my family doctor diagnosed me with a auto immune disorder, that put my life at risk. I asked them to refund me on the deposit that was put for the surgery, not only did they not feel any empathy towards my new illness, they stand on the fact that their deposit is non-refundable, although my family Dr highly recommended for me to proceed with the surgery. They are also very rude, their staff will hang up the phone on you, especially Bruna, she hang up the phone on me more than twice, I discovered they do that since reading their other reviews , and when I say that I will tell my story to the rest of the world, They say that they will stop responding to my emails Im writing so this can help any of you out there that are considering this clinic

After conducting extensive research online for the top plastic surgeon in Canada, I chose Dr. Tong…read more While his impressive credentials, specialized experience, prestigious training in the US, and expertise in cosmetic plastic surgery initially caught my attention, what truly sets him apart is his remarkable talent (and artistic eye) for intuitively knowing what will result in the most natural and beautiful outcome. I was not mistaken, Dr. Tong's meticulous precision, mastery of surgical techniques and dedication are unmatched. It's been six weeks and I could not be happier with my Asian blepharoplasty results. My only regret is not having done it sooner! The level of white glove service was unexpected -- the caring and attentive nurses and exceptional support from coordinators Jean and Shannon (you are outstanding - thank you!) made the entire process enjoyable, painless, and easy. Dr. Tong is a world-class, supremely talented surgeon. I would recommend him wholeheartedly and trust him completely. To be perfectly honest, I feel fortunate that Dr. Tong practices in Toronto.

The staff are always ready to answer your questions and they notify you reminders on your appointment. There was one nurse in particular during my surgery who offered to hold my hand if was nervous. From my first consultation through my six week clearance, the level of care and precision I…read moreexperienced was exceptional. My surgeon did not simply recommend an implant. We had a detailed conversation about projection, long term tissue behavior, and the exact contour I wanted. While I was sitting in his office, he identified that Mentor Boost would better support my desired outcome than standard silicone and actually called his supplier to confirm availability for my surgery date. When he learned they would be available, he made the switch seamless even though it was a late decision. That moment showed me his priority was the best outcome, not profit. Surgery day was smooth (it was a joy working with his anaesthesiologist and staff on site particularly the nurses), I had virtually no bruising from day one, and my inframammary and areolar incisions were placed with incredible precision. Most importantly, from the first moment after surgery, the implants felt like they belonged to me. What truly stood out was the consistency of care. Every phase of healing unfolded exactly as he explained, including the drop and fluff transition. My follow up visits were thorough and never rushed, even when I asked detailed questions about swelling and returning to activity. At six weeks I was cleared for full workouts, stretching, lifting, and side sleeping because my recovery had been so smooth. My results look natural, proportional, and refined, and fully integrated with my body. A very special shout out to his executive staff, Naushin and the women at the office. Naushin was incredibly thorough, available when needed, and very supportive. Just a joy to work with. I believe this is one of the best teams I've worked with. Thank you.

After jumping around and seeing other skin doctors over the years, this place has become my…read morefavourite. With the exception of being told I could use Botox, they do a really good job. Currently I am using the Ducray face wash, which this clinic sells and the toner they medically prescribe. My skin is clearing up and becoming normal again. Over the years I have visited a few acne clinics and this is the one that has stood by me over the years. I recommend you check them out if you suffer from acne. If they advise you to stop using moisturizer and your skin doesn't start producing oil in a 6+ months, definitely return to see how they can help you. I went through one very scalely year when I was told not to use moisturizer.

I went in with a few milia to extract. I came out missing a chunk of skin under my eye…read more.. Apparently, one milia was hard to extract, so - without first informing me - Dr Sliwowicz - decided to cut it out. I now have a big (2mm) cut under my eye, which he had to "glue" back together. Can't wear makeup and it looks like I got in a bar fight. It made me cancel my evening plans. He promises it will heal in 10 days, so I will update then. Right now - I'm really upset. If my undereye is messed up forever because of a poorly executed $25 extraction, I'm going to sue him. Either way, I think a doctor should ask before he cuts out a piece of your face! Especially when it's a cosmetic clinic so obviously I'm there to look better not a hell of a lot worse!

I normally don't write lengthy reviews for places I visit on yelp but my experience was so unique…read moreand wonderful, a yelp review was the LEAST I could do. Here's a little background: I am not a Toronto native, and flew into the city a mere 2 days after having my lips injected with Juvederm (from a doctor in Los Angeles). I noticed unsual swelling but was assured by the first nurse that it would go down. She was wrong. My lip was incredibly swollen and mis-shapen, and it was NOT getting any better. I knew I had to look into finding someone out here in Toronto to help me. I was on a mission to find a reputable plastic surgery office or any salon, for that matter, that offered injections in hopes that someone would know what they were doing and could help me. I called about 15 places. Leaving messages and talking to anyone I could . For the most part no one was of much help. Until I received a call from Shantelle! (the manager) of the New You spa. My prayers were answered, one of the nurses heard my voicemail and immediately put me in touch with Shantelle who made my situation an absolute priority, talking to me on the phone, and getting me in the room with one of her recommended nurses the NEXT DAY. She even came to meet me and help in every possible way. I can't tell you what a relief it was. Within a matter of hours I was in the office, given a few injections to undo the mess, and home. Heather was the nurse who was helping me, she tried everything in her power to alleviate the swelling and remove the existing filler. She was kind, professional, and knows her products! Within hours my lip was already looking better and was at such ease. My emotional state when I went into the office, to the time I left was night and day. The care and overall customer service of this office was incredible and unlike any other office experience I've had. It was a shame to be at a place like New You under my terrible circumstances; unable to appreciate the office for what it was. But just being there an hour and looking at their "menu" if you will, I really can't wait to go back for an actual warrented procedure or service! (Especially Heather, she knows so much about fillers, which is truly an art, and if anyone needs someone that knows what they're doing, GO TO HER!) All in all, the staff here are incredible, professional, kind, and know they're products! They even sent me home with a "Reginica" balm that was to help with any bruising... that I am now addicted to. THANK YOU SHANTELLE AND HEATHER AND NEW YOU! Go to this salon or any New You (run by Shantelle for that matter) if you want to be truly taken care of. This office single handedly saved the rest of my trip here in Toronto and I will MOST DEFINITELY be back. Phew!
