Dr. Mark did the lower face lift for me in August, 2019. And now I can say that it was one of the best decisions of my life. First of all it is not a very easy decision for most women to get the surgery because she wants to look better and not because it is necessary for a medical reason. It is scary, it is kind of risky and it is unknown what doctor to choose. It was my second plastic surgery and I already knew what to expect, the first one ( blepharoplasty) I did in another clinic, I was not very happy about it because they could not find what was wrong with my eyes for a whole month and only my family doctor said that I had an infection. Also, in that OTHER clinic, a nurse left one thread under my skin and I had a bump, which I asked to fix and that "other doctor" did not want to do it, kept lying, telling me different stories. Doctor Mark said right away that it was a thread and only after that the first doctor agreed to remove it surgically. When he removed it I had another nightmare, having an ugly huge bleeding hole for at least a month. After all that experience I spent many hours googling and trying to find who is THE BEST in Toronto. After reading all negative and positive reviews I found two of the best doctors. I am so sorry now that I did not do that search before my first surgery. Doctor Mark gave me understanding, comfort and peace right from the first minute we met. He is so charming, his smile and eyes put you in the field of trust with no single doubt. He knows what he is doing! I did not think twice, I got the surgery at the next available date which was in a couple of weeks after our first meeting. Everything was better that I expected. On a 0-100 scale of scariness it was 0. Going to a dentist is much more uncomfortable. The whole team of Visage clinic is best of the best and doctor Mark is the heart of it. My surgery went really well, the doctor came to me and he was so happy and excited, he said: you are going to LOVE it, Tatiana. I am so exited about the result, I can't wait to see your happy face in a couple of weeks. I would say that doctor Mark is an angel. Just go and meet him and you would understand what I mean. He has a golden hands, a big heart, incredible talent and endless patience. The result of the surgery I loved right away. After my first surgery I stayed home for two months keep thinking that I would not look normal again, after Dr. Mark's work I looked perfect right way! I just had a bruise for a week on my neck and around my mouth which is normal and when it went away I was ready to enjoy my new look! My face looks so young now that it would sound like a fantasy, but I have a witness, one day when I was ordering a glass of wine in the restaurant I was asked for an ID! I am 51 BTW. Today marks three months post operation of my facial feminization surgery. This time has provided the space for the healing and reflection needed to give a thoughtful review. I am a 27 year old trans feminine person. Being trans, my first puberty caused my bone structure to developed some fairly strong masculine characteristics. The most detracting, in my opinion, were my sloped forehead, large eyebrow ridge and a pointy Adam's Apple. I contracted Visage to complete a eyebrow lift, scalp advancement, with frontal bossing and a tracheal shave. My main concern moving forward with this, or any operation, was I didn't want to look fake. Very, very, very good doctor and amazing team! I'm so happy that I had my procedure in Visage Clinic. Dr. Marc DuPere re-excised my 2 moles on the breast. My story started that I removed moles in Russia in May, but one of them growth back and second didn't heal for 4 months! I was in panic and I searched for the surgeon. I wrote to different clinics and different doctors. Dr. Marc DuPere answered me on the same day!(it was Saturday!) With very detailed description what we can do. His assistant called me and scheduled procedure in 2 weeks! It was a relief for me because every day I worried so much about this. Procedure went very well. Dr. Marc DuPere and his nurse Raman spoke with me during all procedure and tried to distract me. He answered on all of my questions! And believe me I had them a lot They sent my tissues to the lab and gave me all instructions how to care after procedure. After 1 week his nurse Raman removed stiches, it wasn't harmful and I didn't feel anything. One day one of my wound looked differently from another and I wrote email to the Doctor with photos of my stiches and his assistant called me and scheduled appointment for me. Dr. Marc said that there is nothing to worry about but he wanted to be sure and access it personally. Fortunately everything was ok. After 1 month I came to access my scares. His nurse Jay looked and said that everything is healed well and gave advice how to care after. Also another nurse Raman came to see me and ask how I am. It is so nice, they didn't have to do it but it shows that they really care about their patients! Now after almost 2 months after procedure my scars are so pretty! They're almost invisible, when I look into them I remember how one doctor refused to excise my moles surgically because he said my breast will become ugly and distorted. But Dr. Marc did it like no one will think that I even had this procedure! He is very knowledgeable and very professional. His nurse Raman is very, very pleasant and nice.
