Only my child's name... no date of birth, no phone number.. nothing... we scheduled the appointment, thankfully I had to call back and reschedule. I rescheduled - gave the new scheduler my phone number and child's information - THEY NEVER ENTERED IT IN! My fiance just took him to his appointment that was supposed to be canceled but, they never entered my information to call me!!! HORRIBLE! Every time I spoke to someone, they were eating while talking on the phone or speaking to someone else....

I felt it should be updated The office manager responded to that review, saying that if we had problems getting a hold of her. I mean no malice; I just want other Epic employees to be aware of this situation. So they don't find themselves possibly going through this, especially for those who travel a lot. This has been a frustrating experience, made more frustrating by today's experience with the office manager. A few years ago, he had some crown problems. . Here's a quick summary of why he asked to be compensated. My husband has needed backup 5 times since 1/6/2026. Will need another 1/2 day. He will have spent 2 1/2 vacations day and will need another half. 1/6 went to have it checked 1/8 temp crown put in ( fell out that same evening) 1/9 temp crown put back, but needed to go to Middleton since Verona couldn't fit him in 1/20 for a permanent crown. Didn't fit right 1/29 Thought he was getting the permanent crown, but dental work was needed 2/13 Hopefully, the permanent crown He's spent 3 weeks being careful about what he eats. Now has 2 more weeks to wait. Having used 3 sick days by the middle of Feb is frustrating. Hopefully I can update this in February, saying that he has permanent is finished, so that he can be back to eating anything he wants. My husband paid the full amount after the dental insurance kicked in. When my husband spoke to the officer manager about possibly being compensated for what I typed out above. She listed a variety of reasons why they couldn't. I'm going to highlight two of them, Six crowns myself, so I know how you feel. ( I doubt she's had this same experience of coming 6 times ) And we don't do free dental work. My husband wasn't looking for free dental work, but a little knocked off for the fact that he would need his backup 6 times instead of 3 is the reason he asked. The one positive was that the dentist said if the crown comes in, maybe they could get him in before the 13th Hopefully, in 2 weeks I can come back and update this, as it finished.

The RHD who did his cleaning was incredibly engaged, thoughtful and kind to my child. She explained each step, showed him how all the equipment worked, and moved slowly and gently as she did the cleaning- while still talking him through each step. He had fun, laughed throughout, and felt in control of himself. On a previous experience with my 10 year old- much the same- They had a terrible time with the last provider and was absolutely traumatized before so getting them through the door the first time here was full of trepidation. Those fears and concerns were immediately relieved as soon as the tech came to talk to my child. My child even allowed a tender spot to be worked on and injecting a numbing agent- This kid is terrified of needles- they administered them with very little pain!- because the tech was gentle and kind and thoughtful with the work they were doing to ensure minimal discomfort. I absolutely recommend Maple Grove Dental for anyone with children. They understand patient care.

Instead of taking shortcuts with painful equipment, my hygienist cleaned by teeth gently by hand. The dentist himself was extremely nice and gentle. Well, what a nice surprise!…read more I have not been to a dentist regularly and the thought of going made me anxious the closer and closer my calendar reminder got. After my first appointment though, I am (mostly) not dreading my follow up appointment! The building itself is straight out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, very comfortable and clean with obvious aesthetic appeal that made me look at my own home decor in envy. They have a very comfortable waiting room with some fun things for anyone who might have some nervous kids - or adults who are kids at heart. The staff was very easy to talk to and professional. They answered my laundry list of questions, some of which probably toed the line on what is and what is not their actual responsibility. Special thanks to Sky who helped me feel calm and at home as we watched a cooking show on the tv above the patient chair (nice!). Lastly, the complete transparency during checkout was really a huge selling point. They showed me a complete breakdown for my follow up appointment so that I could make adjustments as needed and avoid any awkward sticker shock conversations. Thankfully, my insurance covered most of my appointments, but I know that is not always the case for everyone; the transparency during scheduling is telling of their business model! I hope I don't have to do be soon, but if I do I know I will be in good hands!

Dr. Tepe is simply the best dentist I have ever been to. I have been his patient for about 10 years…read morenow and he always does excellent work. He is quick and cheerful, and is somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to things fitting correctly and also in terms of cosmetic appearance of things. He is also excellent at pain control and will really go out of his way in emergencies too. So grateful I found him!

Well, what should I say, I am a very critical person, I do prefer to write bad reviews, just…read morebecause the emotions are stronger, when something bad happens to you. But this review is going to be positive. I have been looking for a good dentist FOREVER! I am scared of dentists, I have problematic teeth which need a lot of work, and the bad experiences in my childhood left some deep scarring in my mind. My fears are not even about the pain, but more about the carelessness of a dentist. I switched a lot, I compared a lot. Bottom line - Dr. Tepe is not only a good dentist from a technical perspective (did a great job on my crown and fillings), but also a great consultant. He listens to you, he talks to you. I have a lot of questions, and unlike some other docs Dr. Tepe had the patience to listen to the end, he NEVER made me feel like my questions are irrelevant or stupid. When I asked about materials used for crown/fillings, he noticed that it was important to me, and explained to me all of the options. Don't get me wrong - he is very efficient and does not carry on endless conversations, but he manages to show that he cares while being straight to the point. I really liked that. During the procedures Dr. Tepe always made me feel comfortable, talking to me, frequently asking me if everything is alright, and explaining what was going on. Maybe I am too needy, but I really appreciate that kind of attention. There are many good dentists in Madison area, they are all technically well schooled and trained and could take on such complicated projects like me. BUT only a few are socially capable of establishing a personal connection of trust with their patients. Dr. Tepe's staff is great as well! Dr. Tepe found himself a new loyal customer! Definitely recommend!
