In my time on rotations, it isn't common to find a doctor who is as thorough in your workup as Dr.

She's always been honest and thorough during our exams and came to congratulate me when it was confirmed that I was pregnant. She explained that I would also meet with Dr Guta and Dr Yassa as any one of them could deliver me. All of these doctors are amazing and took the best care of me. Typically I'd schedule my appointments Saturday mornings or early during the week before work and there's no more than a 20 minute wait. Pam and Victoria (NPs) are also fantastic and always provide me with a mini science lesson on what's going on with my body. I delivered my baby boy in December at 36+5 and had a very fast labor at Good Sam. Even thought they couldn't make it in time, Dr Yassa and Dr Guta checked on me. I've heard of nightmare stories about the lack of care at other Ob/Gyn practices and my experience here was great. They even provided me with a nurse concierge (on call text support). 1 star off because the after hours person seemed to not know how to help me when I went into labor and there have been a few times before my pregnancy when my wait was longer than 30 minutes. No one is perfect I guess. Oh and for all the pregnant mamas, this practice gives you a ton of sonogram pictures of your little one. That's also a great perk.

Now It's unfortunately changed for the worst. The last gynecologist I saw was very rude, impatient and overall just didn't have a good bedside manner. It's always impossible to try to reach these people for any questions or concerns I've had. They never ever answer the phone when I call for updates on medicine, or lab results. There is no consistency or communication. The only reason I still come here is to get my birth control renewed. They clearly don't have their S#@T together. I'm going to start going somewhere else. It's unfortunate that I have to write this but something's gotta give.

I came here during my pregnancy thinking it would be great, no terrible. I went back to nyu. This is a money place not for patient care. They have a terrible way to communicate with patient, they use app called Klara, not good at all. You never see any of your test results online. Then if you need anything like a Tdap shot you need to go somewhere else, if you need to do a glucose test you need to go somewhere else. I had a medical issue and I told them I need medication, they send me medication over the counter when I told them that I have used that already and it didn't work. Then I was told that I need to get infusion, they have seen my blood work for weeks now and they haven't send me to hematology they waited last minute and guess what I would have to go to a different facility. This is where things go left, they can't see anything on their end due to different institutions, which is why it's best to stick to somewhere that has everything you need. Which is way I decide to move my care at 33 weeks of pregnancy to nyu.

I specifically asked the front desk why the ultrasound was being done and was told it was included as part of my annual exam due to my age. Based on that information, I agreed to proceed. I later received a bill for the ultrasound and was informed it was not included in my annual visit. After multiple days of calling, I eventually spoke with staff, but the issue was not resolved and no responsibility was taken for the incorrect information provided. I would not have agreed to the ultrasound had I been told it would be billed separately. Unfortunately, this experience reflects a larger concern noted in other reviews--patients being billed for services they were told were included. The lack of transparency and accountability makes it feel more focused on MONEY than patient care.

I am not sure if they pick and choose who they want to treat with respect. This office feels like they rush you like you're just another insurance sale. Their staff are friendly, but I must say some of the sonotechs are rude. I've had 2 different sono techs so far and 3 different doctors check up on me. I'm not so sure why I got different doctors for all of these 3 visits, I thought they would stick me to one, whomever will be delivering my baby. But anyways The first sonogram I had was transvaginal, but I did let my sono tech know I will decline next time, she said it was fine. Suddenly I get a new sonotech, and she gets upset about me not doing the transvaginal, I let her know I don't feel comfortable. She does me a regular ultrasound but she presses down on my stomach so hard causing me pain, and I lay there taking it, but she didn't even try her best to move around my belly and get a good image. She just went like "well it came out unclear" got the measurements so fast. She took 4 photos printed them, rips two of them apart sloppy and goes like "here take those". I'm like thanks... I'm my head I'm thinking how more attitude can she express? She's bothered over the fact I declined transvaginal. I go over to the doctors room, to talk about a private matter, and the doctor says baby is normal everything seems good. I ask about my private concern and the doctor just shuts me down. This was the first time meeting with this doctor. The first 2 were so sweet and kind and all my questions were answered. This new doctor was so dismissive of my concerns. I appreciate all doctors but I've never hand an interaction in all my years with no doctor like this one. I believe there are right ways and right words to use when talking to your patients. Just an example of how I got shut down because there are too many to say. I asked the doctor on which side of my pelvis is this "xxx" located? Doctor goes "it doesn't matter which side! It doesn't matter if you try to avoid it by laying on your left or on your right it doesn't matter". She didn't even want to hear me out. I asked on which side of my pelvis it was because i would like to know if Maybe If I ever feel throbbing sharp pains on that area I could let her know, just maybe? Well Doctor didn't let me know which side it was. The second example, was when I asked how accurate were the dimensions of this private matter? I asked Are the dimensions less accurate now maybe because when it was first found it was done with a transvaginal ultrasound? But now that I'm getting a regular ultrasound the dimensions are a bit harder to get or are the dimensions just as accurate? The doctor shuts me down and doesn't even consider my question she just goes like "The transvaginal sonogram did not cause that "...." !!!!" I stayed quiet. Never once did I say that the transvaginal sonogram was the cause of my private matter. Nor was I even insinuating such thing I was only asking about the accuracy of the dimensions of what they found inside of me. I asked because this way I know better if I were to come to my next appointment I should take a day off, get a transvaginal done instead, but I don't think I'll have hopes in coming back. The doctor just quickly ended the conversation, and said you know what come to the front, I go to the front desk, she tells the lady get her in for a part one? I'm like what's a part one? Doctor walks away I'm like okay thanks, I was afraid to even try and ask again because the way she was already shutting me down in her office, she'd probably shut me down there too if I asked. I asked the kind lady upfront and she was able to explain to me what is a part one. Now I'm not sure if this is normal behavior of a doctor but as a first time mom, and being concerned for what was found, I just wanted my questions answered. I have never been treated like less in an office specially by a doctor. If you've read this far along, thanks for hearing me out. I swear this was by far the worst experience.

Ladies considering FemmPro OBGYN and Dr Marc Behar for childbirth or gyno care. BEWARE!…read more I am on my 3rd child with him. He and his billing department said I had to pay for my c-section deductible in full by 36 weeks (which mind you I did not have to do with my prior children). They tried to set up a pay over time plan, however after an erroneous charge at one of my appointments and discussion with billing I elected to pay in full via one payment prior to 36 weeks to keep a clean payment audit trail. I am 27 weeks and he called to tell me he is discharging me as a patient because I haven't paid over time. The billing department had yet to even list the bill in the patient portal for payment or send a revised estimate via mail which they had agreed to do so. Not to mention it was ~10 weeks prior to agreed payment due date. Stay away ladies, such a heartbreaking thing to go through. Femmpro should have took the time to internally rectify and issue a proper bill.

The staff themselves seemed confused and admitted they didn't understand why the appointment was booked there. To make things worse, even though the PA was apparently still in the office, she wouldn't see me because she was "no longer seeing patients" -- despite the fact that I had arrived on time for my appointment. I left work early to be there, only to be turned away due to their scheduling mistake. It was a frustrating waste of time and completely avoidable with better communication and accountability. I hope this issue is taken seriously so other patients don't have the same experience.

After setting up my online access (their patient portal is SO user friendly) I was given an appointment the following day. When I showed up there were protestors outside but not within the parking lot, which was great. Inside a lovely medical assistant took my ID and insurance card and I took a seat in the waiting room. The room is small but there were only two people ahead of me when I arrived. I was taken into a private area to go over my insurance co-pays, everything here is very discreet. After 20 minutes of waiting I was brought to an office where another medical assistant took my vitals and went over my medical history. After that she prepped the exam room and I was well on my way! The PA came in about 10 minutes later and she was so sweet and great to have a conversation with! Everybody here is incredibly nice and helpful. Every patient is treated with dignity and respect.
