I started out seeing Lisa last summer before I found out I was pregnant, and honestly she isn't my favorite but that's not either there nor here. After finding out I was pregnant I became Diane's patient. Diane is really amazing, calm, and so easy to talk to. She really takes her time with her patients, so the wait doesn't usually bother me unless I'm hungry. I've honestly never had a problem with her. The front desk staff however ... They are nice and polite. I will say but they are honestly sometimes useless and a hassle. It's like as if they aren't quite sure as to what it is they are doing or what their job description entails. I'm not sure if it's because I usually come at a busy time, but when you need something they are not the one to call. I was calling for my gender results for over two weeks and instead of realizing "mhm, this is odd the lab is taking a long time, let me call and see what's up", the medical assistant (whom I really appreciate) , took the initiative and called and realized the blood samples never made it to the lab. Which then ruined my thanksgiving gender reveal. And is obviously ANNOYING. Because now a week later I'm still playing phone tag with them. I can't imagine if it was something more serious how would someone else feel? The medical assistants are both really great but overwhelmed, because it usually just one on shift at a time which I think is odd due to the amount of patients they get. I found that if you come as early as possible you'll be out in an hour instead of coming at a regular after work time and having dinner and the evening news in the office. Like the medical assistants the office has I believe multiple sonogram techs I've had two. One is a lot more straightforward and quick, which sometimes comes off as rushing. While the other is a bit more personal and sweeter. It depends on what you need. I'm okay with either mostly because I'm usually to go about my day. The office in all isn't that bad, it really depends on who you interact with. I love them for OB care and that is probably what has me dealing with the wait times and other issues. It's really clean, you get sonograms every visit, and you get a chance to actually speak to your doctor. The four stars is really for Diane, the medical assistants, and sonogram tech. The wait time and organization aspect can and hopefully will be fixed. read more

Ladies considering FemmPro OBGYN and Dr Marc Behar for childbirth or gyno care. BEWARE! I am on my 3rd child with him. He and his billing department said I had to pay for my c-section deductible in full by 36 weeks (which mind you I did not have to do with my prior children). They tried to set up a pay over time plan, however after an erroneous charge at one of my appointments and discussion with billing I elected to pay in full via one payment prior to 36 weeks to keep a clean payment audit trail. I am 27 weeks and he called to tell me he is discharging me as a patient because I haven't paid over time. The billing department had yet to even list the bill in the patient portal for payment or send a revised estimate via mail which they had agreed to do so. Not to mention it was ~10 weeks prior to agreed payment due date. Stay away ladies, such a heartbreaking thing to go through. Femmpro should have took the time to internally rectify and issue a proper bill. read more

I've been going to this practice for a while, so I was really disappointed by my recent experience. I scheduled an appointment as usual at the office I always go to, but when I showed up on time, I was told I had been scheduled at a different location -- one I've never even been to. The staff themselves seemed confused and admitted they didn't understand why the appointment was booked there. To make things worse, even though the PA was apparently still in the office, she wouldn't see me because she was "no longer seeing patients" -- despite the fact that I had arrived on time for my appointment. I left work early to be there, only to be turned away due to their scheduling mistake. It was a frustrating waste of time and completely avoidable with better communication and accountability. I hope this issue is taken seriously so other patients don't have the same experience. read more

I have been a long-time patient of Dr. Torre and have consistently had amazing experiences with her and the staff. Recently, after a positive at-home pregnancy test, I was consulted by Dr. Davidson, who was also exceptional in her care and approach. However, I encountered significant concerns with some of the supporting staff, which I feel need to be addressed to maintain the high standards of care that FemmePro is known for. During my visit, the medical assistant who handled my urine pregnancy test appeared to lack the necessary competence. She read the test within 10 seconds of applying the sample and, upon seeing the control line, repeatedly insisted it was negative. I had to point out that the test required a full duration of time for an accurate reading, as even my at-home tests had indicated. Thankfully, the sonogram technician demonstrated excellent care, validated my concerns, and double-checked the tests, confirming they were indeed positive. The issues continued when it was time to draw my labs. The same medical assistant struggled to find my veins, stuck me multiple times, and often forgot to wear gloves during the attempts. Ultimately, she was unsuccessful in drawing my blood. I requested a requisition form for Northwell Labs so I could have my baseline numbers checked the same day. Unfortunately, the form provided was handwritten with only "amenorrhea panel blood drawn" noted, which caused confusion at the lab. Northwell had to call the office for clarification but was unable to get a clear answer. I was advised to visit Quest Diagnostics instead. The next morning, I had my labs drawn at Quest, but no follow-up results were provided by FemmePro. When I began experiencing cramping and bleeding on Tuesday, I contacted Quest myself and learned that my progesterone and beta HCG levels were low. I am now actively miscarrying. While I understand that Dr. Davidson is on vacation, I would hope that someone in the office is monitoring labs and providing timely follow-ups for patients, particularly for situations as sensitive as this. I appreciate the excellent care I received from Dr. Davidson and the sonogram technician, but the overall communication and training among the staff require immediate attention to ensure patients receive the care they deserve during such critical times. PLEASE train your staff or don't leave them in the office alone. It's not fair to us patients. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Behar for several years and he is a great doctor.. he also delivered my baby. Some patients may not care for his personality - He's very straightforward and is not overly warm & friendly but he is highly competent, professional, and has a ton of experience which is all I really care about. In terms of his office... the techs, nurses and assistants are all very pleasant but the front desk is terrible and it is near impossible at times to get through to them on the phone and they do not return your call so there is no point in leaving a message. I went in to labor on a weekday during regular office hours and called them non stop for several hours and could not get through to anyone. I finally gave up and just went to the hospital. They need to get it together. read more

Lisa McMillan seemed nice on first visit but called me with partial blood test results which made me upset. No mention of other tests done. When I met her in person she didnt close her door when going over a test I had just been given. I thought that was weird so anyone walking by could hear our conversation. When she called me on the phone to talk about specific blood test results it caught me off guard and I didn't expect it and then when I asked her some questions she was very cold robotic as if she was reading out of a medical book and I felt she was judging me. other than getting my mammogram results back I will not be going back to this place I want to take my results to an actual gynecologist or a midwife or naturopathic doctor. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this practice since Diane Lucks left. But I have had nothing but bad experiences. My first visit was terrible. I called ahead to see if the doctor was running on schedule. I was told it would be a 10 minute wait. It was an hour. The doctor rushed through the appointment within minutes.. Yes I was annoyed I had to wait an hour but I don't feel I should of been rushed out. I called i today to speak to a doctor and was told a doctor would call me shortly, that was at 10:36am. At 3:14pm after reaching out with no call was told another doctor would call me. It's 7:20 and I have not received 1 phone call. It's nice to know your patients matter! The most disorganized office I've ever been to. The office doesn't return calls, doesn't follow up, nor had they even let me know that my doctor left their office. An absolute nightmare to work with and just not worth it. I think they forget that their service is for wellness and not an exclusive club. The worst experience. I saw Lisa and told her my concerns. She was very crass and inappropriate. I kept trying to explain my issue to her but she kept interrupting me. My recent 8/19/22 appointment for Dr Linder was for 2 pm. Within the week, I received 5 appointment reminders via text/email. I left work at 1:40 pm for this appointment (luckily for me, I work close by), showed up at 2:03, I apologized for being late & was told the Dr was running behind... it wasn't until I was taken to the procedure room that I was told Dr Linder wasn't even in the office, he was delivering a baby & I was asked if I wanted to reschedule. Clearly receiving 5 appointment reminders via text/email, they have my information, but no one could have contacted me to come in later or to reschedule? to let me show up, collect my copay, take me to the procedure room & THEN tell he's not there/ask if I want to reschedule? Is there an office manager or someone in charge because that's just asinine! I stupidly decided to wait... I didn't see Dr Linder till nearly 3:45 pm. While waiting in the procedure room, I could hear the staff talking that there was 1 waiting for the dr (me) & another 1 (who walked in after me) rescheduled, but when it was my turn to see the Dr in his office, there was already someone in with him & someone else ahead of me. Not sure where those 2 came from as I heard no one else bought in while I waited, but yeah, my time meant nothing to anyone except me. Yes the Dr was apologetic when I told him I was pissed off, but still... way to literally waste my time & to cost me money, as I could have stayed at work making money instead of sitting in the gown, waiting. To add insult to injury, I received 2 patient satisfaction surveys via text/email, more proof they had my contact information. I understand emergencies happen, but it's just disrespectful that no one could be bothered to contact me before blatantly wasting my time. read more

I am not usually one to write a review but I felt it necessary to keep anyone else from going to this office. The staff is very nice and pleasant, however after three visits for a first pregnancy with no actual exam, multiple blood tests, and never actually meeting a doctor, only PA, I began to question their methods. After reaching out to several other offices I learned this is not the norm for an early pregnancy. I was told I had low progesterone and was instructed a pharmacy would be calling me. Turns out the local sales rep called and asked me to "text her my insurance information". After doing some research this pharmacy has no main location or mailing address and it is apparent they are telling patients they need progesterone to help build the business for this small business? After switching doctors, they have no concern over my progesterone levels and have continued on to a healthy pregnancy with no treatment or intervention. Also after calling to ask to have all my medical records transferred to my new office I was basically scolded by the PA, and told I was Over reacting by leaving. It also took multiple calls to their office to get all the records sent to my new provider. I am now receiving multiple bills from the office. These bills have no description of them for what they're billing. When calling the office to discuss what these bills are actually for I was given a very rude response and was told someone would call me back, and have yet to hear back. It is very clear they run unnecessary tests and have you come in for more appointments than necessary simply to Bill you and your insurance. Thus is hands down the most unprofessional practice. read more

Cannot comment on the quality of care because you can't even get though the the office. Tried for days, left 10 voicemails, used their text portal about a prescription re-fill error. Was given an appointment for a doctor who no longer works at the facility and wasnt notified- they just canceled the appointment. Tried to reschedule but you CANNOT GET THROUGH TO SPEAK TO ANYONE. After 6 days, finally received a call back and was hung up on before the issue was resolved. Finding a new doctor. The quality of care is irrelevant if you can't even speak to anyone to make an appointment or fix problems. read more

Can't get a hold of anyone on the phone and they sent my script to the wrong place five different times.

I'm pregnant and I called the office yesterday to tell them I have a UTI, took an at home test which was positive and asked if they can send something to the pharmacy I was told to come in to leave urine. Drive all the way to the office to do so, mind you I'm in a lot of pain due to the UTI. I go home and take a nap waiting for the results, never get a call. I call and they say I'm fine and I tell them that's impossible. The woman tells me she'll talk to the doctor. Again no call back. The only reason I knew they put in a script was because I have the CVS app. I'm waiting for hours for my script to be ready, now I call CVS and apparently the script is wrong and they've been calling the office since 3:00pm to fix it and no answer. Now it was 8:00pm, the office was closed. So I'm in excruciating pain and have to go to work now without antibiotics, was hoping to have at least one day in my system. I'm very upset and the front desk ladies aren't too kind on the phone. This whole ordeal has been nothing but frustrating, I'm gonna have to find a new OB because if something as simple as a UTI couldn't be handled, I don't wanna find out what other things they'll be negligent about. I've never been too blown away by their care to begin with. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere you're cared for. read more

Today I saw dr Linder, after seeing some negative comments about him on here I was hesitant about my appointment; it's feel it's very easy to write a bad review about someone and nobody writes good reviews so it's easy for someone to get a bad wrap. However, he couldn't have been nicer. He was a bit quirky but truly a nice man. He sat with me for 20 minutes hearing my worries and truly listened with advice and solutions. He was extremely thorough and can tell he cares about his patients. I will definitely be back to him. read more

The Receptionists are racist! They treat black women terrible! They talk to you like you're begging them for their right arms. So rude and disrespectful. Dr. Kendrick is yet to contact me about my results. I went to Femmpro in Garden City on June 1st and was told I'd get my lab work on June 3rd. I called on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, and 9th. It's the 22nd, and I stilling can't get a call back from Kendrick Or Femmpro. Just terrible! Each time I called for my results, the receptionists were so nasty as if I had no right to enquirer about my lab test. Disgusting! I will not be going back. read more

Never go to the massapequa office! I had been told to call back on Saturday regarding my test results. I have called Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I keep being told the secretary will leave a message for the doctor to call me back. I have NOT received a single call!! You think they would care for their patients more as I need to speak to the doctor to get my medication to be treated. I have been untreated for almost a week now due to their negligence. read more

You will definitely be waiting a while for appointments--I had to wait an average of 45-60 minutes on most days during both of my pregnancies. Although the doctors were all very kind, they missed a major diagnosis with my daughter (trisomy 21), and so we found out at birth. With all of the sonograms and testing, it's still shocking that we had no idea of this major condition in our child. I switched and am happier with the front office and testing procedures at my new office. read more

Too bad I can't leave 0 stars. The wait is always long when I go - however, yesterday I was contacted because the PA I see was going to be out and they wanted me to see another PA. As we have breast cancer in the family, I didn't want to put my appointment off. I thought maybe I would have to wait a bit since they probably overbooked with the PA being out, but after 1 hour I still hadn't been seen (they did not say anything when they told me I would see someone else about there being a longer wait). I was left in the exam room with just the gown on and no one even came in to let me know what was going on. So I got dressed and told them I was leaving (plus I heard a lot of chatter going on outside the door so they apparently weren't busy). I made an early appointment (8:30 AM) because I have to work. Now I've lost an extra hour pay and still haven't seen a doctor. As I was leaving a girl at the front desk said "Oh, let me see what's going on".... I told her too late. Will NOT be going back again. I hope people are smarter than me and read these reviews before going there. read more

I have been a patient at Femmpro for a few years. Every time I come I leave annoyed. The front desk are inattentive to their patients. They gossip the whole time, they always talk poorly of their coworkers that weren't in today. One time I was there I was listening to them talk about a girl that was applying to work there. They all gathered around the computer and made fun of her facebook profile. When I went to pay my copay I glanced at the girls behind the desk because they were speaking, then they put folders up and whisper to each other. Noone talks to you, they make u feel like just another number. When I was brought back the lady that took my weight n blood pressure never spoke. The PA Tara and Dr. Linder are great but it is hard to over look the poor treatment from the front desk. P.s. they need a better system for collecting your urine. It is barbaric, I peed in a plastic water cup. I stood there with it in my hands till someone told me to put it on sink. read more

I cannot speak highly enough about Diane Lucks and her commitment to achieving my dreams of having a child. She was amazing at monitoring my progress and even went as far as to give me her cell phone number to help in any way she could. My original OBGYN ignored my worries and called my miscarriages just bad luck when in reality I needed more intervention. I am happy to report that I am expecting my first child in just a few weeks and know that it is due to the amazing care of Diane and her team. And by her team, I am speaking about Rachel. Rachel goes above and beyond her job title and is ALWAYS there to help in any way she can. She has been an invaluable source of information and has given me amazing, personal care. She is invested in my health and the health of my baby and I feel like I am getting the absolute best care because of this. My experience would not be the same without her. They are a wonderful pair who work very hard to help all of their patients and I am so thankful that I have them as my team. read more

Love the office! Love Diane and Lisa! I've been seeing Diane for over 10 years (I've followed her to several different practices). The staff at femmpro is super friendly, and very proactive with pregnancy. I love that they are so easy to reach with questions and take the time to address all concerns. I don't mind the wait at all during busy times because I never feel rushed. I also love that Diane is so approachable- when I became pregnant, she gave me her work cell number and encouraged me to text/call with any questions, which I think is pretty incredible for a dr's office. She was also excellent at sending me test results quickly when she knew I was nervous about my low progesterone (which I never would have known was a problem if it weren't for her vigilance asking it to be tested for the first few weeks of pregnancy-- not just one time to confirm pregnancy as many offices do). I've sent a few friends to her over the past 2 years, and they in turn have also referred others. Referrals are the best form of flattery, and I would HIGHLY recommend Diane and Lisa to anyone currently pregnant or considering pregnancy. read more

I went to this office because it's very close to where I live. I went for my annual visit and saw the NP Lisa McMillan early before work. Waited no more than 10 min. After she did the exam, I was ushered into another room for a sonogram. I was never asked if I wanted to have one done. I wasn't pregnant nor trying to be. I've never had one done at other practices as part of an annual checkup. But I did it anyway. They found a small fibroid and said that I needed to have it rechecked in 6 months. 6 months later, had another sonogram. No changes. Another 6 months later I went in for my annual. This time I went mid-day, the waiting room was full of pregnant women. Again, my wait was short, no more than 10 min. The girl who brought me into the room gave me a cup for a urine sample but I told her I didn't have to go yet so she said at the end of the visit. Waited in the room for another 10 min. Lisa came in, asked if I had any questions, issues or problems. I told her no. She did a pap smear, quick breast exam and was out the door. If she spent 10 min with me, I would be shocked. She was obviously trying to spend as little time with me as possible. 2 weeks later I received a bill. Not a big amount but I was surprised because my insurance covers wellness visits. Called my insurance and they said it was for a pregnancy test which isn't covered. I never even gave a sample and they charged me. I'm still waiting for them to revise the claim with my insurance. I won't be going back. I may not be pregnant but that doesn't mean that I'm insignificant and I don't deserve more time and attention. read more

I was in the waiting room while my friend went in for an appointment and I could hear her gossiping with the front desk workers about a patient and mocking their health concerns and reason for coming in! If you want your doctor to take your health and concerns seriously, try out someone else because McMillan does not have patience, sympathy, or respect. read more

When i first went to the office i was very very happy to have finally found a good obgyn and the nurses were very comforting and nice to me. Lisa Mcmillan was my doctor and she said that she would call me with results on my tests by Monday the latest and it will be on the portal either way. I called the office on Monday explaining that nobody called me about my results and nothing was on the patient portal. The nurse read the results for me as best as she could but she didnt know how to read something. She then said she understands my concern and would have Lisa call me asap and send her a text because she left for the day. Thursday at around 6 pm she STILL didnt call me and i was shocked because i really thought i liked the place. I called the nurse and she was very nice once again and told me she would have Lisa call me. About 5 minutes later Lisa called me and said "I dont know why you're freaking out, i only call patients when there is something positive." What kind of doctor is that rude? She ended up saying something was positive but it wasnt a big deal and she did NOT say she would only call if something was positive she said she would call in general like any other doctor would to ease the patients mind and assure them that they're in good health. I'm DISGUSTED with the way she talked to me on the phone and now have to search for another OBGYN. The office is lovely as are the nurses but that doctor needs to remember that she is a doctor and is supposed to make patients comfortable, not give an attitude and feel like a bother. read more

Perhaps the rudest and most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered.The gynecologist I was unfortunate to see was Lisa McMillan. It took her 3 days to return a call and was obviously irritated that i insisted she come to the phone after she told her staff to just tell me everything is normal - which is wasn't. Also the tech who did the sonogram would be better suited working for DMV. Horrible place - i would rather go to my vet for a pap smear. If i could give no stars I would. On top of all of this, on my way out I asked if i owed them a co-payment and was told no and of course, a month later I received a bill for $40. When i called I spoke to yet another rude employee who said it didn't matter that I was told I didn't owe anything, it's my responsibility. And the procedure I supposedly now owe for was only partly completed. Biggest mistake i ever made was to go here. read more
