He recommended a procedure that was scheduled within 2 weeks of my initial appointment. His entire staff was easy to reach for questions, and communication could not have been better before and after the procedure. Thank you to Dr. Gupta and his staff for helping resolve an issue I was having for 4 years, within 2 appointments (one for an evaluation and one for a procedure)! I highly recommend Dr. Gupta and his practice to anyone needing ENT services.

I would not recommend that anyone see Dr. Gupta. To be frank it's disheartening that someone such…read moreas him is practicing medicine as he has absolutely ZERO tableside manners. I had a bad experience from the second I walk in the door. To start the receptionist was very rude, the waiting room was overcrowded with barely enough room to sit and then I had to wait 40min after my scheduled appointment time to be seen. From there the first lady that brought me back to the room was kind and understood my frustration and explained they were nearly double booked for every appointment that day which is understandable. Once I saw the doctor he walked in the room and did not even introduce himself, he immediately just started reading my referral. From there he grabbed his otoscope and checked my ears, then sat in front of me without saying a word and stuck a nasal speculum in my nose, propped it open and blew gas in my nose with ZERO warning or explanation of what he was doing. He didn't greet me, didn't explain he was about to begin the inspection, didn't walk me through what he was doing and explain that it may be uncomfortable and smell/taste odd, he didn't say a word and immediately went into it. Secondly, when it came time to scope my nasal cavity he did the same exact thing, grabbed his tools and didn't explain a thing to me. He asked me for consent for the scope using the medical terms (I'm assuming for billing purposes) but never explained what he was about to do. I knew so little that I was opening my mouth because I thought he was going to scope my throat, it wasn't until he was 1 inch from my nose that he goes "oh no its going in your nose" then 1 second later started snaking the scope up my nasal cavity. I was so ill-informed I thought he was going in my mouth.. Then as I was wincing from being uncomfortable, rather than comforting me he proceeded to tell me that "it isn't that bad." The entirety of my consultation I couldn't get a single word in as he over talked me every time I tried to engage with him. Tried to explain my sinuses, over talked me then later asked if I have sinus issues. Kept giving blanket statements like "tell me more" with no elaboration as to what he'd wanted me to expand on, seemed more like it was self validation to feel that he was trying to let me talk but was ingenuine and had no direction. The icing on the cake, after I left the office I received a notification that they had filled a prescription for me for an ear infection - I later found out this was an error. This seems to follow suit with their quality of care. Having family in the healthcare system and being engaged to a doctor I understand some things happen but this was exceptionally poor service. I've sat through white coat ceremonies and he took a pledge that he is not upholding as this is far from the best care he can provide. He was rude, arrogant and clearly had no desire to hear my story and understand what I was experiencing. He just wanted to read my referral and rip through it. I'm sorry but this is a private practice specialty, not the ER. If he is overwhelmed it is by his own doing. He clearly has a god complex and thinks everyone is beneath him. People like this SHOULD NOT be practicing medicine. I will not be moving forward with care here and will be canceling my CAT scan appointment. I would highly recommend another practice, a good friend of mine just referred me to Raleigh Capitol Ear Nose and Throat. I would recommend you take your business there as he has nothing but great things to say after having a successful surgery.

Okay. Bottom Line Up…read moreFront: Dr Clarkson is a righteous dude. I just wish he practiced more kinds of medicine so we could all go see him for everything. I'm an amateur hypochondriac with at least one friend who is a professional hypochondriac, and I've also had a series of long illnesses in my extended family in the last five years. Further, we have moved from one coast to the other and back, thus completely changing the cast twice. I mention this in the service of saying that I have a lot of experience dealing with a lot of doctors about a lot of different kinds of illnesses, symptoms, treatments, and etc. Dr Clarkson is grade A, five star beef. All wool and a yard wide. Out of the forty-odd docs with whom I have had meaningful experience, he's in the top three, and he may very well be the best of all of them. He is attentive to the patients and considers carefully before answering questions. He is calm, unhurried, and rational, and he explains what he is thinking as well as what he is not thinking in a considerate, structured, and clear way, rather than just handing down a snap verdict, writing a prescription, and peacing out. Facts, people. Facts.

After consulting my OB/GYN, I learned the procedure is irreversible based on my records (significant cauterization and ablation). They gave me false hope and completely took advantage of my husband (discharged honorably from the military) and me. I provided the clinic with the full operative report showing the extent of the damage, but they initially resisted a full refund and only offered 50%. They eventually reviewed the records but the experience left me feeling the process prioritized speed and payment over thorough patient suitability. Future patients should get independent medical advice and full records reviewed before paying. The clinic's cancellation policy is strict even when the surgery isn't medically feasible.

If you live in Cary Park, this OBGYN office is conveniently nestled in the neighborhood. Since…read moregetting pregnant, I come here frequently because it's close to home, very clean, and the staff (front desk, nurses, phlebotomists, midwives, nurse practitioners, and doctors) are so sweet and personable. I also love their health portal where I can communicate to my doctors if I'm having any trouble with suggested cold medication, or ask about certain products I'd like to use to see if they are okay for pregnancy. Sometimes I feel like I ask ridiculous questions on the portal and at appointments, and the healthcare providers never make me feel embarrassed or ashamed. Now it's true. If you are looking for education on oral or hormonal contraceptive methods, this office is not for you. But just because they don't promote this doesn't mean the office is hyper religious. I did go to one of the educational appointments on this. I attended an appointment in which you can prevent pregnancy by using something called "The Listening Method" which entails you to keep track of the consistency and color of your cervical mucus. By keeping track, they give you a chart that you have to mark. Based on the chart you can tell how fertile you are. I thought that this was a great idea for people who do not want to use hormones or other contraceptives such as a copper T intra uterine device (IUD). The listening method is great, however, I think this would be better utilized for busy people by turning this into an app. The front desk staff is also very helpful. My husband and I had a big gender reveal party, and they were very careful not to disclose the sex during our appointment. They were also kind enough to inform our baker of the baby's sex. My one start dock is for issues with appointment scheduling. I have made in person appointments, and then received notifications via email that they changed an appointment without my consent. Nonetheless taking more time out to have to call and reschedule again. I'm not sure i this is a system error.
