They taste very 'casero' or homelike. It's as if your 87 year old grandmother has been slaving in the hot kitchen all day, picking the right beans and stirring those pots. I haven't had tacos these good in a long, long time. Prices are great and they pack everything up with a lot of meat. They prefer cash but now they have a set up where you can pay them using Venmo. They closed Sundays but are opened year round. Meaning, no snow storm or tornado is stopping them. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Each meal had four full tacos, consume, two spicy sauces, and a lime. It was definitely worth the cost and very tasty. It was full of flavor and was soft while not being soggy. Outside the food truck they even had a metal overhang you could sit under if it was raining or needed some shade.

I'm Mexican and just moved to Topeka from Texas, so I have been hesitant about trying Mexican food up here. I'm SO happy to have found this truck and will definitely be back. The pastor was my initial favorite until he brought out an extra chorizo for us to try! Highly recommend popping in if you're in the area or just passing through! I ordered three tacos ($2ea., so not bad), my son had the chicken quesadilla combo. The tacos were quite good - good flavor, corn tortillas, only onion and cilantro on top. I would have preferred a little more grilling for the tortillas. The quesadilla was quite good - piping hot, gooey Mexican cheese, and plenty of chicken. The rice and retried beans tasted authentic as well. Our meal took about 10 minutes to prepare after ordering from the friendly staff.
