Yay! Brad fixed the electrical connection on my minivan to my RV trailer!…read more Brad was the fourth mechanic to try, and the only one to succeed. Two years ago, my RV trailer lights went out during a trip to Door County. A place in Green Bay fixed the electrical connection, and it lasted for a year. Then it went out again. A place in Illinois tried, but couldn't fix it. Another place in Illinois said they fixed it. But when I moved up here to Chippewa Falls, and connected up the RV, no lights. Brad fixed it. And like the name, his charges were very reasonable. I'll go there again when I need something else fixed, and so should you. Ask around the community; Brad's has an excellent reputation.

I was in town visiting my parents when I started hearing a grinding noise from my brakes. I brought…read moremy car to them on a Wednesday needing it back by Sunday as I was driving home. I didn't make an appointment but showed up asking if they could at least inspect the brakes and let me know if was safe to drive home on. They said they were pretty swamped, their first opening being later in the week, but they would at least take a look at it for me. Friday rolled around, the last day they were open before I had to leave, and they called me in the morning letting me know that they inspected the brakes and that they were worn down but that they went ahead and replaced them for me. All of this to say, this garage really cares about their customers and doing a good job. I worked with Cole specifically and he was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone in the Chippewa area who is looking for a trustworthy garage that does quality work.

I brought my car to them thinking I knew what the suspension problem was. They checked it out and…read moresaid it was it was not an issue, and those parts did not need to be replaced. But during his safety check, Cole had discovered that my one-wheel bearing was bad. He showed me how bad it was, and I agreed. They had to wait for parts, and because they knew I had no way home they gave me a ride home! That afternoon I got a call that the car was done, and they came and picked me up! I could not ask for better quality service, I was I impressed with their professional caring attitude. The price for the rework was fair, and I will defiantly use them again.

don't bother. these guys will screw you. it doesn't say family Automotive because they're aimed at…read morehelping a family this is family Automotive because it is a family working there. that aside these guys claim to do everything including the tow but what they really do is they tow your car and they give you an unrealistic shot at redeeming yourself then they'll strike up a deal and buy your car for scrap and wave the fees that they incurred. for those of you that are still a bit lost this is called a racket. they claim to do everything but when they received my vehicle which just needed a fuel pump they told me that it's going to need thousands of dollars of repairs and they can't do it because... and get this... they can't do it because they're too busy fixing other cars. choosing between a rock and a hard place I was forced to scrap my car for a measly $100 [and it has give cats] because I couldn't afford to pay them for the tow. however I had brought my car there with a grant from a business in Chippewa falls that agreed to pay for parts and labor no matter what it cost. I tried to get family Automotive to repair my vehicle no matter what the cost and yet again they said they couldn't do it because they'd have to get the service done somewhere else. sounds like a scam because it's a scam. now keep in mind I'm homeless and that's why I had the Grant from this business in Chippewa to repair my vehicle I chose family Automotive because they had competitive prices which did me no good in the end except I lost the place where I was staying which is my car for $100 when all it needed was a fuel pump. this is not a auto repair shop, this is a tow service and scrap yard. don't waste your time!
