Two years ago, my RV trailer lights went out during a trip to Door County. A place in Green Bay fixed the electrical connection, and it lasted for a year. Then it went out again. A place in Illinois tried, but couldn't fix it. Another place in Illinois said they fixed it. But when I moved up here to Chippewa Falls, and connected up the RV, no lights. Brad fixed it. I didn't make an appointment but showed up asking if they could at least inspect the brakes and let me know if was safe to drive home on. They said they were pretty swamped, their first opening being later in the week, but they would at least take a look at it for me. Friday rolled around, the last day they were open before I had to leave, and they called me in the morning letting me know that they inspected the brakes and that they were worn down but that they went ahead and replaced them for me. All of this to say, this garage really cares about their customers and doing a good job. I worked with Cole specifically and he was very helpful and responsive. don't bother. these guys will screw you. it doesn't say family Automotive because they're aimed at…read morehelping a family this is family Automotive because it is a family working there. that aside these guys claim to do everything including the tow but what they really do is they tow your car and they give you an unrealistic shot at redeeming yourself then they'll strike up a deal and buy your car for scrap and wave the fees that they incurred. for those of you that are still a bit lost this is called a racket. they claim to do everything but when they received my vehicle which just needed a fuel pump they told me that it's going to need thousands of dollars of repairs and they can't do it because... and get this... they can't do it because they're too busy fixing other cars. choosing between a rock and a hard place I was forced to scrap my car for a measly $100 [and it has give cats] because I couldn't afford to pay them for the tow. however I had brought my car there with a grant from a business in Chippewa falls that agreed to pay for parts and labor no matter what it cost. Not very knowledgeable. Took my truck in because it had a miss. Paul said it had bad coil packs…read moreon two cylinders and replaced them. As I drove the truck away from his shop, the truck started to miss again. Brought it back to him and he kept it for two days and then said he never could figure out the issue. Took it to another shop and they figured it out in 20 minutes. Number one cylinder had a loose and bad spark plug. They replaced the plug and it runs great! Would definitely not recommend this shop to anyone!
