I am sorry to say that I only saw great reviews when I considered hiring Caleb and his crew. My…read morehusband I hired Caleb and his company of workers. During the first few weeks the job seemed to be going very well. Once the kitchen install was well underway it became clear that the work was not being done well. Once Caleb had his next job the crew divided their time between jobs and rushed through ours leaving much undone and done poorly. Caleb promised he would go through our punch list of anything unfinished. That never happened. We paid a fortune for a very shoddy job. We just paid another contractor to fine tune all the cabinet doors so they would open and close correctly. We now need to paint the things that were not painted, repaint the things that were painted badly, repair all the damage made to walls, floors, thresholds undone etc..., we need to putty all the cabinet rails and add the rail left undone. Deco tiles were installed incorrectly: no grout or sealer, backsplash installed all uneven and unsealed. All the shims and unsealed wall is still sticking out from behind our pantry doors. This is enough for one review to give you an idea of the kind of work done in our home. There is more but this is enough. I have pics to back up everything I say here. Please save yourself the sadness of paying very hard earned money for poor work.

Best to just stay away from this Company. All the workers were Freelances not full time employees of DeckPro, which becomes an issue if one of them get hurt on your property. DeckPro workman comp (if they have it would not cover the injury, it would fall on home owners insurance. That was my bad for not checking before hiring. On top off all this, I receive a paid receipt showing the entire bill was paid now weeks later I am being harassed by Randy for payment I told him about the paid receipt and upon returning from vacation I will check my credit card statement he is now threatening me, it's quite the nightmare on a job that really wasn't done painlessly. Regarding his comment about our deck need to be demolished, I've attached a picture we finish the paint ourselves since they ran out of paint twice. Randy is the epitome of the definition Mansplaining. I do not believe his 4.8 review is accurate. I do believe it's probably friends and family building his rating up, he truly is bad news. If I can help anyone not go through what I've gone through it would be worth it. I asked him today for proof of insurance, and he refused to give it to me. I just want people to be smarter than I was in this instance.

When they arrived, he left the job to an apprentice, which was fine. But the apprentice ended up painting up the stairs and into the upstairs hallway (on one side only) -- work that was never discussed. I offered to pay for the extra paint since I could have been clearer about the scope. After that, they arrived late every day despite repeatedly assuring me they'd be there at 10 AM. Brice texted me at 10 or 11 PM asking if I could pay ahead so he could pay the apprentice. On day three, he texted in the evening to cancel because of a late night. The next morning, he promised he'd finish the painting that day -- then didn't show up until 8 PM with no communication all day. What was estimated as a two-day job took four days, and my living room was unusable the entire time. (This was for two rooms, by the way.) On the final day, he texted me not to "freak out" because he was going to finish. He wrapped up around 10 PM and said he could come back the next day to finish. I told him I was done and not to return. The customer service was incredibly frustrating. After everything, he offered me a discount in exchange for a positive review.
