I should have trusted my gut when he did the root canal and the infection didn't go away and he still filled in the tooth and said the infection didn't go away. Fast forward a year later the tooth had to be pulled cuz the infection never healed. So much money down the drain :(

Dr Isler is terrific! Gentle and I have never thought I would say this, but what a gifted doctor. Dr Isler has state of the art equipment and really makes the procedure painless. Yes, there's a slight pinch when the Novocain starts, but Dr Isler has some sort of state-of-the-art equipment that instead of needing more like 5 shots, there is only one! I was instantly out of pain from an abscessed tooth that was just really so unfathomable I could not even sleep for 2 days prior to this procedure. I hate to admit this, but I have had root canal treatment years ago and I remember the past being just a long, painful experience that went on for hours. Well, Dr Isler, some magical way got TWO done in less than 35 minutes!!!! That's insane!!!! Not only that, but I walked away FREE of all the misery I had been in before the procedure[s]. I mentioned to Dr Isler that he must be some kind of brilliant magician to make this such a PLEASANT and PAINLESS experience. So we started coming back to because of insurance changes and personally because I had some issues…read morewith my last dentist. Initially, I had to bring in my kid and their partner because the driver was needing for some work that was being done and they were getting set up for other appointments. While I was waiting, I checked if they took my current insurance and they did so I went ahead and set up an appointment for a check up. I was gotten in fairly quickly and they found one cavity so I set up another appointment to have the cavity filled and to have a cleaning done. These are things that my insurance covers. While with the dentist, I discussed some possibilities because I have trouble with the partial that I have. He suggested possibly getting a bridge done, but my insurance does not cover it and $3000 is a little behind my budgeting right now. I just went in and had the cavity done and had one of the better experiences I have had for this type of procedure. I have had trouble with lidocaine in the past and I let them know that they had an option available that wasn't just lidocaine that we decided to try. They put on the topical and when they went to administer the local, I only barely felt the needle the first time. This is usually my least favorite part, but it was really good. The only other thing I have issue with is the sound of the drill in my mouth because it echoes in my head. I felt that the dentist listened very well to me and did an excellent job throughout the procedure. I then had to have my cleaning and the hygienist went over some suggestions with me. We set up for the basic cleaning and I have not been caring for my teeth as well as I should this past year so for me, this was a little more uncomfortable than having the filling done but still not too bad. The hygienist had a gentle touch and I felt did a really good job. The only part I had an issue with was at the end where they did a polishing and it was a higher pressure using a baking soda mixture that just seemed to sting a lot everywhere. It touched but only for a moment. Really this was just new for me and was fine in the end. I really like the people I have working in this location these days and I'm very happy with the quality of care that I received.

Staff has always been friendly and receptive, Dr. Fajardo is great, and Sasha the hygienist is excellent. They never try to push you on any medical procedure you don't need, and only do what is necessary with care and no pain. Very clean and bright inside and easy to schedule appointments. I had a chipped tooth a while ago and they were able to fit me in the next day to have it repaired. We are moving out of state next month and will definitely miss Smile Design. Checked with front desk (Twice) that they took my insurance and there would be no charge for initial visit. They confirmed this to be the case! Exam carried out and then the silliness started! Looking to charge almost $2000 for deep cleaning albeit my previous dentist not long done cleaning and have been having cleans for years, I am of the opinion that this is just a money grab as others also mention this in previous reviews. They then try and charge for the initial visit saying insurance not covered albeit had already been told by front desk it was!! When I disputed this, RUDE Jessica turned her head without looking at me, said to her colleague, just send it to collections!! When I tried to speak to her about it, her attitude was atrocious and feel someone like her is certainly a liability to the company, AGAIN PATIENT BEWARE!!
