In the evening we called the clinic nearest to the RV park, which we found on Yelp, and what a great bet it was. They squeezed us in for the next morning, for an emergency appointment. They said it would cost $50 for an emergency appointment, but then Dr. Diaz (who fixed the problem in no time), beside being a warm and extremely nice doctor, ended up deciding not to charge us at all, which was so kind of him! But on top of that, we were really impressed with the facility and the staff. We've lived in a number of states and seen quite a few orthodontic clinics, and they're all very good, but this is, frankly, probably the most impressive we've seen, in so many ways; in terms of how nice and cozy the place feels (while big), the size of staff, the excellent service (staff are all very kind), how smooth, efficient and fast it is. That says a lot! So when my retainer broke, I gave Dr. Johnson a try as we just moved to the state and are starting fresh with doctors. The care that this place has for every detail really shows. Anytime you are back in a chair, there is a TV above you to help take your mind off of the work. I just was fitted for an impression but I pictured myself as a scared teen. Dr. Johnson walked me through everything that was going to happen and was with me every step of the way. I just felt comfortable and safe. I really wish Dr. Johnson was around when I was a kid! When it came to billing, everything was laid out and thoroughly explained. I've been to dentists/orthodontists in the past who are so vague with how billing works and it's frustrating. While trying to discuss balance issues(discrepancies from what the assistant at the front desk told me [$52.00], what my email stated [$175.00], and what she now was stating to me [$200.00] ), she began to get defensive and continued going back and forth with a PAYING CUSTOMER (when I showed her the email that clearly was different than what she was telling me, she slammed my phone down- this is what started it) . Didn't want to Continue the back and forth so I just paid the amount she stated [$200.00] with the very nice young lady next to her (whom seemed surprised to her reaction as well). Literally, just made my LAST payment and was told that due to my reaction (told her to shut the f up, after several attempts to ignore her and make my payment with someone else) they will no longer see my son and I had to leave. They wanted me to leave without removal of appliances. I had to ask to remove the braces. Was called into the Managers office (Amanda's mother), what I thought was to deescalate the situation, but none of my concerns were heard. She stated she will not get in between what just occurred (huh? So why am I here and you left my son, alone in the waiting room; whom of which I had to make aware that they left my minor son alone). After waiting 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, Amanda then came in to speak to her mother (manager) about the review and will void the contract of their retainer program (whom of which I was quoted 2 different prices $539 over the phone and today $839). During this interaction she continued to converse AT me/ not to me, and the MANAGER (mother) allowed for her to say whatever she needed to say to me without being allowed to have a reaction. When I asked the manager if she can please talk to her, she stated, "I speak to my daughter everyday"(how professional right!). Family and business cannot go hand in hand, if you do not know how to separate the two. I expected better from the manager, as there shouldn't have been any reasons for Amanda to communicate with me after I was placed in the office to "cool down". None of my concerns were even heard. I know 100% this type of behavior will not be tolerated if it were someone else. My son says she was rage baiting me (she even did a little dance while this happened). I've never experienced such terrible customer service! It was mind blowing! I usually never write reviews, but in the moment I gave the establishment one star and ofcourse received back lash for it and was asked to remove it, in order to have his braces removed. If the review wasn't removed, they will not allow him to sit for the removal. So I patiently, waited for my son's removal, picked up his retainer, & wrote this review. Made sure my voice/concerns are heard even if it's via this review. Let's see how or if management responds to this. What happened to listening to your customers?

So we started coming back to because of insurance changes and personally because I had some issues…read morewith my last dentist. Initially, I had to bring in my kid and their partner because the driver was needing for some work that was being done and they were getting set up for other appointments. While I was waiting, I checked if they took my current insurance and they did so I went ahead and set up an appointment for a check up. I was gotten in fairly quickly and they found one cavity so I set up another appointment to have the cavity filled and to have a cleaning done. These are things that my insurance covers. While with the dentist, I discussed some possibilities because I have trouble with the partial that I have. He suggested possibly getting a bridge done, but my insurance does not cover it and $3000 is a little behind my budgeting right now. I just went in and had the cavity done and had one of the better experiences I have had for this type of procedure. I have had trouble with lidocaine in the past and I let them know that they had an option available that wasn't just lidocaine that we decided to try. They put on the topical and when they went to administer the local, I only barely felt the needle the first time. This is usually my least favorite part, but it was really good. The only other thing I have issue with is the sound of the drill in my mouth because it echoes in my head. I felt that the dentist listened very well to me and did an excellent job throughout the procedure. I then had to have my cleaning and the hygienist went over some suggestions with me. We set up for the basic cleaning and I have not been caring for my teeth as well as I should this past year so for me, this was a little more uncomfortable than having the filling done but still not too bad. The hygienist had a gentle touch and I felt did a really good job. The only part I had an issue with was at the end where they did a polishing and it was a higher pressure using a baking soda mixture that just seemed to sting a lot everywhere. It touched but only for a moment. Really this was just new for me and was fine in the end. I really like the people I have working in this location these days and I'm very happy with the quality of care that I received.
