A great time for family fun + drinks. This is a medium/ mall size D & B chain but there's a great variety of games to choose from. There was a bit of a wait time for a table with availability at the bar. It works out when you have older kids that don't require supervision. We charged up the gaming cards for the kiddos and headed to the bar to wait. The food was surprisingly tasty and the drinks were great. It does get a little warm in the gaming area and you should expect a crowd on the weekends. All in all it was a fun time. read more

Update: Terrible just terrible! The employees at this location seem to care less about customer service. We sat at the bar for 10 mins. We waited by the hostess station and waited and finally what looks to be a manager casually walked over, didn't acknowledge us, grabbed some menus and then said follow me. We sat and again we waited. We went to celebrate my granddaughter's 13th birthday. Food took forever but $200 later, upon leaving the restaurant my granddaughter left her purse with her diabetes medicine. In the bag, were also $80 in cash that she had gotten while at the restaurant for her birthday gift. Called Dave & Busters to advise them were returning to retrieve the bag as they were closing. Looked in bag 1 hour later & realized the $80 were not in her bag. Thieves!! It is obvious that between the 3 bussers & the manager who took the bag from the bussers, someone decided it was okay to steal $80 from a 13 year old diabetic child. You know who you are & your actions are disgusting! This from an organization that claims they support the Make A Wish Foundation for children with life threatening illnesses. My granddaughter is a diabetic, life threatening illness, who was celebrating her birthday & had her birthday money stolen by an employee. Yes you with no conscience! There was hardly anyone there when we went so we safely played for almost 4 hours. The managers and wait staff are all so sweet and attentive! It was absolutely horrible when it was in Cary Towne Center but I thought I would give it a chance since it moved locations and seemed to have it together...I was wrong. First, there is only supposed to be 400 people in there at a time and there was well over that amount. It was sooo packed it was hard to even move. Second, when they called us for our table, I walked up to the "hostess", she looked at me and I said "I'm was pages for our table". She looked right passed me and started doing other things. No "give me a minute" or anything. So, I stood there for another 5 minutes waiting on her to have time for me. Third, once we were seated our waiter came over and took our drink order then our appetizer order. That was all great but we waited quite some time for our drinks from the bar. Once we got our food and drinks, our waiter disappeared. We had to flag down others to get additional things we needed. When the waiter finally dropped off our check it took him about 20 min to make it back to the table. If I was not a good person, I would have just walked out. The gaming area was the highlight of my visit. We waited for about an hour and that was totally fine. This is where things became messy. Once seated the hostess place us at the table, without knowledge to us we needed to order from the phone. Our waiter came and told us this about 10 minutes in. Boom, I place the order and paid. It took about 30 mins for our food to arrive along with our drinks. We waited with no acknowledgement from the waiter or even our drinks for the entire time after placing and paying for the order. She took the order with no pad then came back with a wrong drink . It took over 10 minutes to get the correct drink. She also took our food order with no pad. We were missing a few things. She once came to check us. Not one manager came by . We actually saw her laughing with the manager at the server terminal. The floors were beyond disgusting. They finally started sweeping 3 minutes before we left. Oh and when we gave her the check it took over 10 minutes to get back to us. I had to go to her at the terminal for my change. She had the nerve to ask if I wanted my change back. Oh and my sons kids meal was not correct but we didn't complain. We just asked for ketchup from another sever Bc we couldn't find mine. By far the worse services EVER! My wife and I were at the bar for 15 mins before getting help, needless to say we were the only ones at the bar. So when the bartender finally came to help we went ahead and ordered everything drinks and food were good but then again here we go waiting for 40 mins while everything is done, our food and drinks. First the drinks, my fiancé ordered a beer on draft and he said he tasted disgusting, it was his favorite red oak but he said it tasted like it had gone bad or something like that, so he ordered a bottle. I ordered a passion fruit mojito that tasted like lemonade. I'm not sure how passion fruit tastes exactly like Minute Maid lemonade but it did. I sent that back and ordered and Strawberry Margarita and that was okay but I tasted no alcohol. For a like 12 or 13 dollar drink you don't want to feel like you are drinking juice. But where they failed on the drinks they did even worst on the food. Ordered the garlic truffle Parmesan fries and they were extra salty and I love salty so for me to say that was just not good. And they gave me no Parmesan on them. I maybe a half of sprinkle. I will say the sauces for the fries were pretty good but could not make up for that terrible taste. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was super dry and like it had been sitting in a heat lamp for forever. When you know the tomato sauce is brown you know it's been sitting or rewarmed for two long. The pasta that came with my dish was dry and flavorless and it took me 20 minutes to get some salt and pepper to make it semi edible. The icing on the cake was my aunts burger. She ordered the cheese burger and the cheese was black and charbroiled. I've never seen a cheese burger like that before. I was worried. She said it tasted horrible but normal so there was really nothing to worry about. The them of the meal is everything over cooked, and dry. My kids had a lot of fun, though there weren't many games to me. The waitress was amazing and gave great suggestions on food and drinks. The nachos and garlic parm fries were so good, but the chicken strips weren't fully cooked on the inside. The prices were good and the kids (3) stayed busy for hours for about $150. I had to go to the gift shop to get help from I believe a manager for help with a broken game just because the people working on the floor didn't help and were rude, but he was sooooo nice! PRICEY!! I don't remember D&B being so expensive, but my friend and I somehow blew through $80 for mediocre food and about 1 hour of games. We tried to take advantage of the "Eat Play Card" package (entree + $10 play card for a discounted price), but after adding it up...you really only save a a few dollars in total. You're better off getting a much tastier meal elsewhere and buying a play card separately. Most games start at 6.8 credits while a majority are closer to 10. It's pretty expensive considering $10 only buys you 48 credits, and some of the games are less than a minute of play. Food was subpar - the Bang Bang Chicken tasted like reheated chicken in oily peanut sauce and the Caveman Combo (their top seller) was just average and run-of-the-mill. On top of that, the service felt incredibly slow despite there being so many empty tables around. Overall, I'd maaaybe come back for games if my friends were dying to go, but I definitely wouldn't come back to eat dinner. read more

Worst arcade experience in decades. Nearly all the games I wanted to play were physically broken or misconfigured. Many waiting for network connections, the multiplayer pacman actually had reversed controls for one side which made it unplayable. Our entire group was disappointed and left feeling bored and cheated. Also very overpriced games and not sure if everyone's doing this now but another thing I noticed was when you swiped your card for a game, most only let you play one round. Example Injustice DC, you swipe, play one quick round, and then you have to pay again, regardless if you won or not. Will never waste my time here again. read more

D&B The bartenders are extremely rude and lack any people skills. They look like they absolutely despise their job. If you want people to enjoy coming to your establishment, hire people who are kind to your customers. Their terrible attitudes and stale faces will certainly keep us from returning. They roll their eyes when you speak, or just ignore you completely and are unwilling to help you. When asked if they had silver or gold Espolon tequila, the bartender who had pink/orange hair (name tag says Lady Shi) said, "It's just regular tequila." So I clarified my question with is it clear or gold and she slammed her hand on the bar, rolled her eyes, and held up the bottle. Of the three women behind the bar, one was kind and helpful and we were told she's training. Hopefully their terrible attitudes don't wear off on her and she keeps her positivity. The other two have terrible attitudes and look like they hate their job. It is also unclear that you are only able to order with one bartender and when we ended up with two tabs because that was unclear, Lady Shi's attitude got even worse and she got angry with my husband for having a second tab. Nowhere is this advertised, and the other bartender took our order. She didn't ask if we had another tab open and we assumed that I'd we open a tab, you can add to it. Lady Shi never comes to check on you or ask if you need anything else as you sit there with an empty glass, so when one of the other bartenders finally acknowledged us, we ordered a round with her. In the end, the customer service and terrible attitudes need to be checked and fixed. read more

Food was okay, I wouldn't bring a date here for dinner. We ordered off the $16.99 deal, you receive a $10.00 game card included in the price of the meal [so you pay $6.99 for the meal]. I tried the chicken caesar salad and Steve-o A. got the cheese steak sammy, served with fries. The cheese steak sandwich was actually pretty good, although it's not something you should eat often! Caesar salad had fried chicken on it and was okay. Patron margarita was light on liquor while the tiki drink was heavy on the sweet!! I've got to go back and find a better cocktail [but Wednesday nights they're only about $4.50-$6.00]. On to the games, honestly, it's a little overwhelming for me personally. Loud, dark, constantly busy. Check out the 4-D Dark Escape 4 if you want to scream and wet yourself a little. 4-player Mario Cart is a blast, even though I get my bum kicked by Steve A. and Ron W. every time. They've also got a trivia game that will test your knowledge and LOTS of games that give out TONS of tickets. We won 17,900 tickets in one night [that was the accumulation of about $25.00 though]. Asked the hostess to get a table but the wait was an hour and a half due to short staffing and shift change. Ok cool. Went to the bar to get some drinks and food. Sat down and waited 17 minutes before deciding to leave. We were never addressed or asked if we wanted to order. Bartender was moving INSANELY INSANELY slow. In the 17 minutes we sat there she opened one beer for the couple beside us and was still in the process of making margarita (tequila, premade mix, and shake - am I right?). I would not recommend this place to anyone including my worst enemies. In the time it took me to write this review I hope the couple sitting next to us finally got their drinks and hightailed it to the car to go to a reputable place where service actually exists. read more

Dave and busters is a Wednesday night tradition for me and my friends when I'm in town. This location offers great games, isn't super crowded, and doesn't have super long waits to play games. Most of the games worked that I wanted to play and didn't give me any problems. The staff at Dave and busters are always a hit or miss as far as service goes, but the front desk person was polite. Don't forget that certain games require you to tap to redeem your tickets. I found out the hard way when a little girl took over 2500 tickets from the game I just got done playing....lol. read more

I have been to Dave & Busters a couple of times. I recommend getting their Eat & Play Combo. Basically starting at $16.99 you get an entrée plus a $10 game card. So if you get a $12 entrée, you get a $10 game card for $5. Plus they don't charge you for the card if you do it that way. They have tons of food options, and plenty of games. I think the gaming floor is larger than the dining room floor. The prizes for the games are huge. If you have kids, get there early, because as it gets later, then they will start checking ID's, and stop letting you inside. (Like it is a club or something.) People drive from miles around to go to Dave & Busters. A bad side, since they attract a large crowd, it spills over into the parking lot. Park close, but not too close. There are tons of beer bottles in the parking lot, and there have been reports of a few incidents stemming from the Dave & Busters crowd. I would say the food is good, on the higher end, but not gourmet fancy price side of things, and the games are expensive, but not state fair expensive. Most of the cheese and sauce on the "pretzels" was falling off due to the surface of the bread and the grease. When first walking in the I noticed the trash was over flowing in the entrance. Not really something I would want my customers seeing when they first enter an establishment. The bathrooms were disgusting. Trash, bottles, tissue and paper towels all over the place. There were half drank alcoholic beverages just laying all over the game floor for someone's kid to drink. Service was ok.
