I buy extra when I can because of the minus side... It is almost impossible to get in here! I don't mind queuing up to wait at a restaurant, but every time I try to go they are lined up out the door. I have tried to go at off-times and it's still busy. Being so busy, the experience at the counter always feels rushed and there is nowhere to sit, so I never stick around once I have my bagels. I realize it's a good problem for a restaurant to have, but it still makes me want to go elsewhere. Most times I do. The bagels are a definite 5+ stars. The overall experience is 2 stars at best. Splitting the difference and giving them 3. I keep going back (well, trying to, at least) because the bagels are that good. Your results may vary. If you figure out a decent time to go in, give me a holler and let me know. I'll buy you a bagel!

The fresh bagels are delicious as are the house made cream cheeses. I got a half dozen to take home with everything and oat being faves but the cherry almond and pumpernickel didn't disappoint either. They have a nice serve yourself coffee bar offering all Abita Roasting coffee in all varieties. Creole Bagelry and Cafe also offers a huge selection of bennys, omelettes, Belgian Waffles and breakfast sandwiches , lunch sandwiches, salads and lunch platters. Don't skip the frozen coffees and teas !

Nice and smooth, without the slightly harsh after taste you get from so many other coffees around. It's amazing! The service is far above average! Always friendly and extremely helpful. You don't feel rushed to make a decision and they always help you out with suggestions if needed. It feels like... You're at a friend's house. The volume is usually low on background music & customers talking, which adds to the mellow feel. Honestly, I can't find one thing wrong with this place. There's even a bagel menu, full of choices of your hungry. Great place to hang and work, read, chat, or just chill. I'd highly recommend it! Love this little place! Very eclectic and cool. The Staff is friendly and helpful. The crepes look delish (Although I didn't try one this time), and the coffee was amazing! Freshly made to order and served in cute sky blue cups. WiFi avail and low music in the background. There is also a small courtyard in the back and a few tables out front as well if you prefer to sit and enjoy the great outdoors. Lots of choices for coffee, teas, and yes Crepes (Which I'll be trying next time!!) I'll certainly be back! I'd recommend this little spot to all. Great to have coffee, relax, or just chill with your computer.

New hood and ceiling work and the big improvements to the outdoor seating is a welcome addition as well. I really look forward to eating here before putting my honey in a train, and you can see the statin from inside or outside which makes it very convenient. As I said previously this an absolutely delightful little bagel shop that's a downtown locally owned and operated Mom & Pop spot. The outdoor consist of tables and chairs with umbrellas on the west side and Pinckney tables lined up along the side the building on the north side, everything is comfortable, clean, and it's just like sitting outside of the cafe anywhere. Bottom line: They have some wonderfully unique breakfast items, I had the huevos rancheros and their absolutely fantastic pancakes on my last visit. The coffee is good, the food is good, and the people are wonderfully attentive and all about customer satisfaction.Highly recommended!!! The kind of thing you think about after you leave, which is exactly why we found ourselves back there four days later. The bagels themselves are perfectly chewy, beautifully blistered, and clearly made by people who take this very seriously. For a New Yorker to admit that a bagel outside of NYC is this good is not something we say lightly. If you're in New Orleans and you don't go here, you're doing it wrong. We went twice in five days and would have gone a third time if we'd had more time. Absolute must.

The atmosphere? 10/10. It's one of those places that just feels good. Calm, airy, aesthetically pleasing without trying too hard. Perfect for getting work done, studying, catching up with your friend, or a cute little meet-up with your boo. And it's family-friendly, which I love. Inside + outside seating, so you can really choose your mood for the day. Now let's talk about what really matters... the BAGEL. Listen... it has been YEARS since I've had a goooood bagel sandwich. Like the kind you think about later. The kind that makes you pause mid-bite. This is THAT spot. The menu isn't overwhelming, but the options?? Whew. So many bagel choices, cream cheeses, jams--because let's be real... what is a bagel without cream cheese?? I went in fully planning to get two sandwiches just to try more (greedy, I know ), but this one humbled me real quick. I got the BlueBird... and I've been eyeing it for a minute, so I already knew I had to. Turkey, jalapeño cream cheese, banana peppers, blueberry jam... Yeah. Let that sit. Sweet, savory, creamy, a little kick... it just works. I was SOLD. While I was sitting there working, I asked a couple next to me if they were regulars (because their food looked too good not to ask ). They told me they come all the time and basically get everything. That told me everything I needed to know. And honestly? I believe them. You will NOT be disappointed here. And the drink?? Oh it had a little punch to it--in the best way. Not watered down, not playing with you. One of those "okayyyy I taste it" moments. IYKYK. Overall, this was such a great experience. The food, the vibe, the energy... everything aligned. I will absolutely be back--especially when I'm on that side of the river again. Flour Moon, you did your thing.

Their new location is in the small strip mall next to The Drunken Fish. This new location offers a covered patio for outdoor dining, as well as ample parking in the private lot in front of the location. They still have all of their classic sandwiches and bagel pizzas, and have even added a few new ones! The main ingredient is of course the authentic bagels. These are the best in Baton Rouge, and are made by a great local business. It's hard to beat that combination. If you want something different, they also have Reuben's and Muffulettas.

If you're wanting the change from a bagel you can also swap it for a croissant (which I love!) I prefer the sandwiches to the bagel pizzas, but the pizzas are nice for a change. Their coffee options are really good too! And I always get suckered into grabbing one on my way out the door. The outdoor area has some cute patio furniture as well as tables, and the inside is very spacious while still having a good bit of seating.
