On numerous occasions, Victoria was flexible with her time and made sure to accommodate my busy schedule to get a haircut in. I've been going to see Emily who takes care of the cut pretty well. There have been some times where she gets super backed up so I wait - even when presented the option to have someone else (that is free) to do my hair. My problem is that I am getting older and I just really like sticking to the "plan" and not having to explain my haircut a million times to new people. Also a problem when getting older, I like convenience so this place is not that far from me. It has a parking deck (CLUTCH) and is super easy for me to get seen here. Staff keep this place (like other Shears) clean and enjoyable to visit.

I don't think the management here is very good. There is a lot of turnover, which is a indicator of bad management. I was given a hard time because I wouldn't take off my mask as they stated "it is not possible to give a hair cut with a mask on." I went against my better judgment and decided to give them a shot anyway despite the reluctance the hairdresser had to actually put on a mask in exchange for taking mine off. 2. The hair cut itself was very rushed and was paid no attention. I said not to cut it too short twice, showed a picture of exactly how I wanted it, and it still was cut really short... 3. This place doesn't feel welcoming or friendly so that combined with the issues above shouldn't warrant the price they charged. I have had better experiences at cheap franchises at half the cost. All in all, it was a really poor experience and I really have a hard time finding any positives.

In a time when ADHD is the norm, the mark of real talent is knowing how to cut the remaining hair of balding guys, let alone a full head of hair. I found Dapper by accident, and I am very happy with this gem. I now schedule from their website easily. Stephanie listens to my concerns of how to cut my five strands of hair (sarcasm), and quickly handles all those concerns with adept talent. She did a fantastic job on both my cut and color, (single color and long hair with layers), and the price was by far the most reasonable I have yet to come across in Charlotte. Robin has been cutting hair with the salon for over eight years now, so I was instantly at ease in her chair. (Keep in mind this is coming from a girl who can't stand getting the slightest of trims.) The salon itself is adorable, in an old house divided up into many rooms and nooks that offer both a comfortable and personal experience during your hair cut. I especially loved all the little framed quotations that were hung at every turn (see pics.) All About You offers other spa services as well so I will be back very soon to try those out.
