This location is a small little grocery store with a small parking lot. The prices are higher than Wegmans, so this isn't where I would shop regularly for any kind of groceries. That said it is conveniently located near another business I frequent regularly, so I end up stopping in for a snack or a drink or something miscellaneous. Their prepared foods are also quite good, although not inexpensive. The one thing that pushes this review for me from three stars to four is their pizza. Pizza is so expensive everywhere. Finding a good pizza deal is almost impossible these days. However, here, you can get a large thin crust pizza for $12. Mind blown. That's the number one thing that I stop in here for. Is it gourmet pizza? No. But is it an absolutely delicious value at $12? Heck yeah. It does take a solid 25 minutes for them to make it, so call ahead. Overall, not my favorite place to shop affordably, but conveniently located and useful for certain things.

Good quality butcher shop, great selection, on the expensive side these days but what can ya do, they make a great breakfast sandwich and do great subs as well

I work around the corner from this place and I love dropping in on my lunch break. This is a great place to go to grab a pre made salad or sandwich, always tasty as well. They also always have a selection of hot soups, wraps & they usually have tuna and egg salad as well! Not only can I get a yummy lunch here but I can also swing by the spot that's inside and grab a coffee for my afternoon fuel. Amazing! Their baked goods and treats are also just as amazing. I don't really do my grocery shopping here so I can't say much about that, but they seem to have a good selection so I will definitely need to try that out sometime! Best lunch spot ever!

Dash sells this special brand! Interested in trying them all!

Great little store for food shopping. Good prices, convenient. Only real issue is the small parking lot if you are driving.

I love Wegmans and this location is no different…read more With it being in the city, it's evident that both the parking lot and store are smaller than suburban locations but they do their best to maximize the space. The parking spots are narrower than suburban locations, but there is a lot of parking. The store felt slightly more cramped than my go-to location, even shopping with a small cart was tight to navigate through the produce section and the aisles were busy with shoppers and staff restocking. It's also a busy location, even on a Friday afternoon. But the store was clean and well organized, and they had a lot of registers open and staffed by courteous cashiers. The quality and selection of their food is fantastic, better than most grocery stores in the area.

This is the Wegmans closest to my mom's house, so whenever I'm back in Buffalo, this is my Wegmans…read moreeven though I used to work at the Alberta Drive location. Naturally, I still find myself frequenting this Wegmans whenever I'm back in Buffalo. The Amherst Street Wegmans has a massive parking lot, though you would never know it during the peak hours. Between how popular this store already is and the addition of the Wegmans Wine & Spirits shop in the same plaza, it's usually pretty packed. You might not snag a spot close to the entrance but you'll find a spot. Might I suggest that patience is basically required, as with all things Wegmans. Once inside, I'm almost always overwhelmed (in the best way) by how much there is. Prepared foods, deli counter, meat and seafood, bakery, flowers, produce, frozen foods. You name it, Wegmans has it and they probably have a Wegmans branded version, too. I love browsing the craft beer section and, more recently, the growing selection of non-alcoholic options (Thank you, Wegmans!). Honestly, I can't complain. Yes, Wegmans can feel overwhelming, but now that I don't actually work there anymore, I've grown to appreciate the variety, freshness, quality, and pricing. The things I would do for Wegmans to come to the West Coast... until then, I'll keep savoring every visit to Weggies while I'm back home.
