The local Grayview brewing was at the Madera animal charity event the gardens hosted and a local taco shop -just check there social media for upcoming event info. Most everything you see hanging is for sale. The woman who owns and runs the gardens has always been helpful, nice and is very knowledgeable about the plants she sells. Her husband is the collector and you can find his picks of vintage goods placed throughout, if you see something you like there should be a price tag or they have a price list too -just ask for help. Staff here are very helpful too, the gardens are setup nicely and is full of plants and trees not commonly found at most local home improvement chains. You can find a variety of trees that are not the usual like chocolate persimmon trees, a good variety of cactuses all sizes. The selection of trees are one of my favorite things. I definitely would recommend this place to our community..

I'm from the Bay Area and been to a lot of plant shops, but they don't compare to Asio Verde! My…read moregirlfriend and I came in on a Friday and Sofia (one of the owners/business partners) showed us around the store and the various plants that they have. She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and gives us practical tips for plant care. Asio Verde also has a lot of unqiue plants that a lot of other stores do not have. Examples include variegated whale fin snake plant, variegated mini monstera, thai constellation monstera, albo monstera, silver sword pothos, and many more. Additionally, the prices they have in this store are lower than a lot of the bay area plant shops. They also have giveaways and bidding wars on their instagram live for various plants that they are growing! I've bid for a thai constellation ($75) and an albo ($100) which is a better price than you'd find on etsy or any other online store. If you are in Merced and a plant person, highly recommend you go to Asio Verde for beautiful plants at a great price.

The tree removal work covered 2 days which was more than enough time to cover any issues that may have come up but didn't. Communication was efficient and expedient. If clarity was needed by phone Alexis was always available during business hours when at the store. My 4 trees removal was quoted to take 2 whole days but was completed early. Alexis and his work crew were fantastic all the way through. They arrived as scheduled and earlier than on time each day. The crew showed exceptional teamwork and were very easy to communicate with. They were respectful of the property and left the yard looking better in the areas they worked than when they first started. I will definitely seek out Alexis and his work crew again when I have future tree care and landscaping needs.
