We dug in before we remembered to share photos but tried to order and sample as much as we could in one sitting. Total gem of a space, decor is tasteful and fun. Place is clean and airy. We had the Rise and Swine, Riot Bird Waffle, Summer Crush Berry Waffle, Strawberry Lemonade, Watermelon Lemonade, Paradise Please Iced Latte. My kids also had the Classic Morning Plates and had enough on two plates to share between three.

I tried one after lunch and the combination of the crisp outer shell and rich, creamy center was definitely an experience. Delicious, VERY rich, and apparently my stomach and I have differing opinions about how much of a good thing is appropriate. The shop itself is also really cool. It's bright, clean, and has such a fun modern design--the red wave feature running across the ceiling and wall is awesome. There's plenty of seating, and the whole place has a really unique look. The dessert case had several different fruit designs and other sweets, and honestly, half the fun was just looking at them and trying to decide which one to get. Definitely worth stopping in at least once to try the viral desserts. My advice: eat lunch first, choose ONE, and do not let its adorable little fruit disguise convince you that you're making a responsible nutritional decision.

Food: The acai bowl was okay. It hit the spot, but…read moredefinitely overpriced for what you get (it was minimal acai, and the bowl was pretty small). Service: The ladies working the night shift were very kind and competent. They even gave me a sample of a new flavor that came in to try. Vibe: Very hole-in-the-wall, and the bright lights are a little loud for a rather danky place. The bathroom doubles as their main supply closet (which is okay, that's not that uncommon), but the toilet seat in the male restroom literally had the seat completely unfastened. Not knowing this, when I went to lift it up, it literally fell on the floor because nothing was holding it in place. Kind of very unsanitary and not a great look. Parking: Big shared plaza lot. Should have zero issues finding a spot.

Typically I know when I go to Zest I am going to have a long wait time for a smoothie, either due to long lines or short staffing. Today there was no one in store and I ordered my absolute favorite, "The Fix" which is a banana based smoothie and features their cold brew mixed in. The consistency was perfect and I could definitely taste the cold brew and almond butter. I also got a cold pressed juice from their grab and go section. I don't get these too often but the orange grapefruit was really good! I was also intrigued by some of the food items they had this morning but decided to pass. Overall, I will definitely come back to zest since their smoothies are really good (sometimes just a little inconsistent) and it's very convenient. I definitely want to try some of their food items and smoothie bowls so I'll review those next time I'm in!

If you are looking for meal, substitute, protein shakes, or protein coffees this place might be your new best friend. If you're not familiar with the Herbalife products, you might be a little surprised by the price tag. Yes the shakes cost more than you might imagine. Plan on spending nearly $10 per person. That said, you get what you pay for and the shakes are fantastically delicious, high protein, and low in calories.
