Eat here. We originally called in for a seat while we were on the road. We wanted to eat at 1930 but they only had a table available at 2000 so we took it. Since our estimated arrival to Vienna was a lot shorter than we expected, we decided to walk in anyways (1915) and see if they did have a table open and the owner popped up from his chair immediately and said "Yes! Right this way." This man was very attentive and always checked to make sure everything was okay. He seemed to always go above and beyond and was aware of anyones needs. We were never left wanting or waiting. As for the food, our entire table ordered Beef Bulgogi and were not disappointed. It was delicious! The table wine was great, the restaurant is clean as well as their toilet and the staff was kind and attentive. We wanted to eat here the 2nd night too but we ran out of time.

Arrived into Vienna late and soaked from rain. Looked for a tasty and convenient late night dinner and found this spot. Was very happily surprised with the quality of bibimbap. Friendly and accommodating staff as well!

If you ever wanted to experience delicious Korean food in Vienna then the Kimchi is the place to be. Here at Kimchi of course you get the traditional Korean fermented vegetable dish called Kimchi, but you also get Sushi, all kinds of Chicken dishes and the famous Korean Bulgogi as well as soups and salads. In the summertime you can also have a lovely time in Kimchi's patio located in this nice and cosy neighborhood in a street which is a quiet side street in the elegant inner parts of Vienna's 3rd district. Inside the restaurant it is light and bright with a nice ambience. There are two wings to choose from with many tables. The Kimchi also provides a midday buffet but be aware the Kimchi closes in the afternoon (14:30 - 2 pm) and doesn't open before 18:00 (6 pm). And Sundays this the Kimchi is closed. So this is to be considered when choosing the Kimchi for going out. This Korean family run restaurant's staff is friendly and the prices of the meals and drinks are reasonable and in the midrange segment. With Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

I love this place. I find the service very good and with a great memory, if you become a regular. I have been coming here since years and not once did I have a bad experience. The food has also stayed delicious all this time. My absolute favourites are the noodle soups, the Bulgogi and the big Tom Yum Goong Soup (served with rice on the side), but they generally have great things to eat. Also very important point is that, there are always lot of Asians coming here, for business or family dinners...

This location is actually the new Korean/Thai restaurant Kimchi. The lunch menus are delicious and affordable and all dishes are msg free. There's an extra room that seats 30 people, equipped with a karaoke bar.

The Korean food at Kimchi is so very, very tasty! This restaurant a few minutes away from Landstrasse-Wien Mitte was such a great surprise! They have a wide choice of (yummy!) Korean specialties,as well as (big!) bento boxes and makis and sushis sets. The portion are impressive, the flavors are there and at the end of your delicious meal they will even treat you with some fresh fruits slices :) The waiters were effective, kind and accommodating; to bad the acoustic of the room wasn't optimal for a group (it was so loud at some point that we had to shout to hear each other!) but over all it was a wonderful evening! Don't hesitate to check it out!

The servers all spoke English although they did not have an English menu. Thankfully the word Ramen stood out to me. Our waiter tried to talk me out of Ramen and to get the Thai soup instead, but the seafood ramen was fantastic! Spicy broth, plenty of veggies and nice seafood portion. Very satisfying. And yes...I decided to eat Japanese food in Austria. Don't hate.

A hidden gem for those wanting a break from Austrian cuisine. We ordered from the summer lunch menu: hotpot bulgogi (beef) and bulgogi curry udon - they were fantastic. It's a little hot eating hotpot in 30 degrees but the bulgogi broth is just so good with the rice. The curry could be stronger but the bulgogi is a perfect match with the udon. We sat indoors to escape the heat and the environment was clean and cool with air-conditioning.

We were able to get a table right away. Got the menu, water (we did not drink) and the waiter who spoke Korean got the drink and took our order. Food arrived in timely manner. Our jun came out in smaller sizes but had several which was perfectly fine. Sometimes I prefer this way so I can get more crispy edges. Got the bibibop and also kimchee jiegae. Bibibop was very good. Perfectly made the way I like. Individual veggies seasoned properly. My kimchee jiegae needed more time for the meat to cook longer to bring out the flavor. Other than that all worked oit great. unique. Some of the banchan was very unque. Apparently, we got lucky to taste mom's speciality offering. Repeat!

Currently, I am backpacking through Europe so you can only imagine how much I miss good old Korean food. So when I found this joint, I gave them a try even when they had only three stars on Yelp. You could say that I was pretty desperate for Korean food. I needed kimchi in my system! Disclaimer: I am giving this place three and a half stars. However, I am giving them four stars on Yelp because I am rounding up!!! So please note that before reading my review. Their sushi (sushi is not Korean food for those who get Japanese food and Korean food confused) was not satisfying. Their rice was way too sweet. The fish was not super fresh. Their kimchi jigae (kimchi stew) was also too sweet. But, it definitely hit the spot for my kimchi craving. Their portion for the stew was smaller than I get back home. The kimchi was perfectly fermented and cooked to a perfect caramelized texture. This is an authentic Korean restaurant run by Korean people.

It wasn't too far from Schwedenplatz, as we walked there after lunch to catch the subway back to our hotel. They are located on a narrow street in the old part of the city. There didn't seem to be any outside seating, which was fine. They had tables near the front windows (where we sat) and bar seating. I think they had another dining room further back too. They had Pad Thai as a lunch special, so I got that and enjoyed it. The other 2 people in our party had some variant of noodle soups, which they also seemed to enjoy. Service was attentive and prices seemed in line with Vienna generally. The only other notable feature I recall was their restroom. They had a door separating the dining area from the hallway where the restrooms were located. This hallway was decorated in wall mirrors - a lot of them. It almost had a funhouse vibe. It was interesting. The restroom itself was pretty average.
