Doctor Caroline Hanna is the latest professional to provide for my dental health. Her guidance and advice have always taken a thoughtful and conservative approach. She describes what she sees, shows me images of the problem, explains the concerns about the condition, identifies options and suggests a course of action. In many medical situations, two doctors can see the same thing and come to different conclusions about the urgency to care for a condition. As humans, we all make decisions colored by our training and experience and medical professionals are no different in that respect. If you are looking for a caring dental professional for yourself or someone you love, I can heartily recommend Dr. Hanna.

My family and I saw her when me moved to the area and all of a sudden we needed thousands of dollars worth of dental work (apparently I had a cavity in every one of my molars which no other dentist had ever mentioned). AVOID THIS DENTIST LIKE YOU WOULD COVID-19!…read more This Dentist is Unprofessional and underhanded and quite possibly incompetent... Multiple times she had to take impressions of the same tooth and bridge to send out to the lab only to receive something back that still didn't fit. The last time she more or less blamed me for the bridge her office supplied for not fitting correctly. I suppose the lab had told her off. She kept my bridge that I paid for and told me she would figure something out. I'm sure she sold the precious metals for money that she pocketed. The insurance I had changed and she didn't accept my new insurance. She always preferred that I pay her receptionist/girlfriend/partner at the front desk in CASH. She doesn't do extractions and messed up one tooth so badly I needed to seek emergency care. She filed down a perfectly healthy tooth to use as an anchor for my bridge. Long story short I left Dr. Ursula Potkay and have no intention of ever returning again. I found an outstanding Dentist who provides complete care and does everything (cleanings, X-RAYS, fillings, extractions, etc.) all in his office. He is dumbfounded at the "horrendous work" Doctor Potkay" has done to my teeth. At the suggestion of my current Dentist I am currently in the process of reporting her to the appropriate Dental Council for "extremely poor dentistry" and plan on being reimbursed by her office for every Penny I spent there. Should I encounter ANY issue with repayment I will be taking litigious action against her and have been advised that not only will I win, but most likely she will lose her license to practice.

The dentist is so oblivious to the patient when she's giving you Novacaine it's a joke. She does not tell you anything of what she is doing. I've had it with this place. I used to come here just for cleaning and they did a fairly good job…read morebut once I told them I now have insurance I felt that they kept trying to add services that weren't necessary. They started to tell me that I couldn't have just a regular cleaning and that I needed a "deep cleaning." Also I came in to do a routine small filling and right before we started she told me it may become a root canal and she won't know until she "gets in there." I told her to forget it I'm not doing the filling because I don't want to end up having a random root canal when I was just in for a basic filling. She gave me a pretty harsh attitude about it and all but yelled at me on my way out the door. Even with all of that, I decided to give them another chance and just scheduled a cleaning and they booked me but then called me back an hour later telling me they wouldn't give me a regular cleaning, that I had to do a deep cleaning for $247. I said I don't want or need that, but they said that they would not do a regular cleaning for me, only a deep cleaning. I find that this sounds a bit scammy and that they're trying to get more money out of me for higher services. This is a known way that unethical dentists operate in order to upgrade services for more money. That's just what it looks like to me. A quick Google search as per the picture included shows that this is a common thing that is happening more and more. Would love to find an ethical business in the medical industry. It's unfortunate that more and more are operating like used car salesman and mechanics.
