Ok I was just reading through the reviews and saw that it was 5 years ago I wrote my review and wanted to give another update. So now I'm 15 years out and my results are still amazing. Tummy still tight, breasts are looking good. Fantastic work IMHO. This was the WORST place ever. My daughter was scheduled to have her implants removed and replaced due to severe scar tissue. We live 2 hours away and our appointment was scheduled for 9:30. On our way there we received a call telling us that appointment was changed to 10:30. When we arrived we were then told that it would be another hour because the doctor had gotten stuck in traffic on his drive over from Malibu. We tried to check in to our motel room but the room wasn't ready. When we went back to Beautologie at 11:30, the young man at the counter said that we could wait in the outer room. Several people we spoke to said that the person they were with had been taken in at 7:00 a.m. Other clients came to the door throughout the day but were not allowed to stay in the outer room where we were due to COVID restrictions and there only being 2 chairs. They were told to wait in their vehicle until called. After repeatedly asking the young man when we were going to be seen, he disappeared for over an hour. My daughter had not eaten anything since 9:00 p.m. the night before and was starving. She FINALLY got taken back around 3:30 for prep and taken in for surgery around 4:30. There were 2 patients that were scheduled after her. I picked her up a little after 6:00 p.m. and we went to our motel. She was in extreme pain and had been sent home with 0.5 mg of Tramadol, which did nothing. My bull-mastiff was prescribed 0.50 mg of Tramadol when she had surgery, so you can see the dosage was inadequate to begin with. We returned the following day because my daughter was in tears, and they gave her an additional medication, Amitriptyline 25 mg, a muscle relaxer/anti-depressant that did NOTHING for the pain. We went to see a local doctor on the 3rd day after surgery because she was in such extreme pain and unable to sleep. He could not believe that the surgeon did not give her a stronger medication to manage her pain so he prescribed Norco which worked. As if this wasn't bad enough, they assured her that they would bill her insurance because she paid cash before her surgery and the patient coordinator assured her that it would all be taken care of. They were extremely helpful until after they received payment in full. Beautologie has been telling my daughter for 3 months now that an insurance claim was filed, however the insurance company hasn't received ANYTHING. Now my daughter is trying to file a claim herself, but the patient coordinator will not respond to my daughters phone calls or text messages for the necessary documentation. The worst part is that her breasts are visibly uneven, and she is extremely self-conscious now. It is obvious that the surgeon was in a hurry and did not take the time to do a good job. Would NEVER recommend this place for ANYTHING! read more

WOW!!!!! That is what I have to say about my results from Dr. Shah, a month ago I had a tummy tuck surgery and I am LOVING the results... ... which he told me will only get better and better still. YAY! I have not even seen how good it will get yet and I am already so over the moon happy. My consultation was great, Dr. Shah really took his time to explain the procedure and answer any and ALL of my many questions. I really felt understood and at ease. My pre-op visit was VERY detailed which was a lot but I felt ready and prepared... which is good because you do get kinda nervous before a big op. I do feel like I am a mentally strong, grown up but it is nerve wrecking. Day of... the nurse looking after me made me feel comfortable and at ease... of course the drugs don't hurt, LOL!!!! By then I was nervous and excited all at the same time. Then I don't remember much until afterwards... I won't get into recovery because that is it's own thing... just make sure that you have someone to look after you. Also having something light and easy to snack on, that is stomach soothing helps... I ate cheese and crackers only for two days. The first two days are hard, so ask for a pain pump... seriously... it is madness to do this without that handydandy pain pump.... medicate the pain away. :) Seriously, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Shah, Nancy and his team, they made me feel comfortable and taken care of. But most importantly Dr. Shah got me AWESOME RESULTS!!!! I feel that this was a life changing event for me. It has motivated me to start eating better and I am excited to start exercising for the first time in my life!!!! I feel more confident in clothes and I already feel fitter and physically stronger... I am very excited for the next chapter that this procedure is allowing me. I live in LA and went to Bakersfield becasue of Dr. Shah and it was SOOOOOO well worth it. I have one word for Dr. Darshan Shah and his staff at Beautologie!! AMAZING!!! I am soo happy with my results and I would recommend him to any one looking into having a procedure! Please avoid this doctor he is very distressful and unprofessional. I went to his office and waited for one hour . And then the nurses told me he wasn't available very rude! Such a waste of time . Very disappointing and not impress on how his office is being run by awful customer service. The doctor has contacted me only once to offer money to delete my review! This is morality WRONG! Your staff made me feel miserable uncomfortable and its unprofessional. We as women look for beauty constantly so for this place to treat me like I didn't matter of I wasn't that important hurts! The doctor should of been there to address my issues and was s no show'! I'm very infuriated with this whole ordeal that I don't want to hear from those people ever again! I'm leaving my honest review to let others know what I went through in this poor unforgettable experience. I'm not a fake like these people try to make out of me. Dr. shah is the BEST! I had a mommy makeover 5 months ago and I am thrilled with the results. It cost less than I expected, the outcome is amazing, and Dr. Shah and his staff are outstanding. Dr D and his staff are amazing in every capacity. 9 years ago, I came to him for advice on a breast augmentation and he patiently answered all my questions and explained the procedure and aftercare and how to maintain fantastic results. Getting a call from him the day after surgery to check in on me was a very nice touch. I loved my results and after many years, decided it was time to take out the implants, get a lift and go back to a more natural look for me. Again, he helped plan out the procedure and after care and even started the "deflation" process of the implants in his office. You cannot ask for a nicer surgery center, caring staff and credentialed certified plastic surgeon. I did not take either procedure/surgery lightly and did my homework on Dr Shah. His training and background gave me the confidence that I found my surgeon. I recommend his practice and expertise to every one who asks me about my experience. I have been wanting a breast augmentation for the longest & being African American it was hard finding surgeons who have good patient results for African Americans. But I was determined to set out to find a great doctor that would deliver the results that I wanted to achieve and Dr.Shah did just that and an amazing job. The day of surgery waking up I Wasn't in any excruciating pain and they looked great just from day one. I'm more than pleased with my results. I couldn't have found a better Dr. best decision I ever made would highly recommend. The staff were friendly I was always greeted with a smile. And shout out to my Nurse Megan who's been there with me every step of the way since day one and through all the post op appointments she's very sweet and honest and I really appreciated that.
