I got juvederm recently with Beckie and felt compelled to update my review because I loved my results. I had gotten Restylane (my first filler ever) from a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills and was not satisfied with the results. Unlike my first experience, I saw results immediately after seeing Beckie. They were subtle but just what I had wanted. I still look like myself just more like the myself with a filter. The staff is very accommodating there. I am a baby when it comes to pain and they allow me to come in extra early to really let the numbing take effect. Plus Beckie is pretty talkative and it kind of distracts from the discomfort. She did a better job than the board certified plastic surgeon I saw prior to her in my opinion. She knew where to place the product and how we could obtain the results i was hoping for. Went to see Becky for spider vein removal.had never had laser done. Once Becky came in to start she introduced herself and ask if I had ever had this done ? I said NO. She said it will hurt little but the out come is really good,No down time. When she was done she said the marks will fade away in about a week.i left her office with little burn marks all over my legs it was horrible,3 months later they still look the same very disappointing, after three weeks I sent photos to her she said may take little longer.and week ago i kept getting emails from her business about I was do for another appt. Not on your life.... I sent email back asking her to stop sending emails. She said I knew what I was getting into and I signed the disclaimer!! Well that was very unprofessional and uncalled for. How about when a person comes in and has never had a procedure done you explain what will happen and what might happen before taking their money and leavin them with something that is horrible looking. Referred to Dr. Fisher from my primary for chronic ear pain. Dr. Fisher was very unprofessional and needs to work on his bedside manner. He and his assistant both seemed put out by me. when i would try to explain what was going on the assistant would talk over me and the doc looked in my mouth was like, "wow your teeth are ground down" and asked if i grind my teeth, i told him i used to and he rolled his eyes!! It was slight, but i saw it. not the coolest experience. now sitting here again waiting for the receptionist to get her shit together. she talks all snotty and short to me but all nice and sweet to all the employees roaming around the office. Beckie Duke performed an RF laser treatment in 2014 and an IPL in 2015. Both damaged my face. I've tried to work with her and Dr. Edmund Fisher MD who owns SkinRn Aesthetics. From Beckie Duke I heard crickets, refused to see me, return my calls or text messages. Dr Fisher was downright hostile when I went to see him to see what, if anything, he could do to help fix the extensive damage to my face. He suggested temporary fillers ($3,000 worth) which would need to be repeated annually from here on out. He made sure as I was leaving to note that he is in no way responsible for anything Beckie Duke does. Over these last few years I've seen many doctors telling me many things. None of it good and all of it is expensive. It's been a nightmare with depression so intense I had desperate thoughts about self harm, but I'm trying to go forward with my life. What's more disappointing is that I actually once considered Beckie Duke a friend. This comes with a warning, you take your body and face in your own hands with Beckie Duke. Think carefully before booking here or anywhere she works. I don't like leaving a review like this but if this saves one person from being harmed by her, then it's worth it.
