My experience at this medical practice was extremely frustrating. Upon arriving, there was no available parking, and I spent about 10 minutes circling the parking lot before finally finding a spot. After checking in, I was given paperwork that took approximately 20 minutes to complete. I'm not sure why this paperwork couldn't have been sent ahead of time to be completed before the appointment, which would have saved time. My appointment was scheduled for 9:45 AM, but I wasn't taken back to a room until around 10:30 AM. Once I was placed in the room, I continued waiting. At approximately 11:10 AM, I finally had to ask someone how much longer I would be waiting. At that point, I had already been there for well over an hour and a half. I understand that medical offices can experience delays and unexpected circumstances, but the lack of communication and the amount of time spent waiting was disappointing. If there are significant delays, patients should be informed rather than left sitting and wondering what is going on. read more

all i can say is dr. dev and his staff were and are amazing! cynthia & nina were great, every single staff member are so very kind! being referred to this place has been nothing but amazing, everything from my paperwork, to a returned phone call, to my appointments, to getting me prepared for surgery, to having everything explained, to answering all my questions, up to my surgery, march 6th 2025 (panniculectomy) to even the aftercare has been amazing! i don't understand when i see all the negative comments, but then again i guess i was really lucky, not only myself, but my husband is really happy with this place even he said this place is nothing like some of the negative comments, dr. dev and staff thank you all for everything, your kindness, hospitality, being very caring and understanding! i would definitely recommend this place!.. i am so very happy and content with everything! god bless!.. p.s.. be patient; it takes time to heal; listen; pay attention to the directions, and your body!! i followed everything i was supposed to do, before and aftercare everything went well, i thank god i did not have no complications!! there is a reason why there are directions before surgery, and after surgery, if you do not follow them you can certainly have complications!! don't rush or hurry the healing process, be patient!! 1 read more

When I first came to Dr Dev in 2006 I liked that he was completely honest which told me he truly cares and isn't about the money. I had seen several Dr before coming to Dr Dev, he suggested I wait and he prescribed me face cream. Now I'm seeing Debbie for the first time. Debbie and the entire staff are friendly and professional plus the waiting area is relaxing and inviting. The prices are fair, actually more affordable than other officers in Bakersfield. Dr vipul easily handled my reconstruction needs after a mastectomy. Needless to say, it was a scarey time and I was addressed with warmth, concern and patience. I had LOTS of questions and concerns before and after. He is such a sweetie. He was always prompt for all my surgeries and appointments, I like that. My wife and I went to Dr Dev's office for a consultation a week ago and were welcomed by a upbeat and helpful front office staff. I have been to many physicians offices over the years and I have to say that Dr Dev's office runs efficiently and they know how to provide genuine customer service. I was recommended by a friend to go see this Dr! I had my consultation and I really liked the Dr. So I was planning on scheduling my appointment after I saw some photos of his work, unfortunately a month went by never heard from his nurse, so I call to find out what's going on! Then they schedule my appointment to look at pics! The day of my appointment they cancel and tell me they will call me in a few days! Well it's been over a month and I have heard nothing! The associated plastic surgeon Dr Peter Ashjian I wouldn't recommend his services to anyone! He did an ugly job on my reconstruction from breast cancer. I trusted this Dr Peter Ashjian. I was just another patient on his practice list. My scars are terrible! He was not compassionate about my feelings on the outcome of his work. He was always late because he has another office in Glendale. It's sad that I have to look in the mirror everyday and see UGLY SCARS from his terrible reconstruction work. read more

Dr. Dev and his staff are lovely people. I have seen Dr. Dev for pissible surgical procedures and I liked that he was honest with me as far as reality of doing the procedure, recovery, and outcome. I went in for two seperate options and one he said I was not ready for, the other I was and he broke it down to what the results would be like. I liked his honesty yet he was very gentle. His staff is equally awesome!! can't reveal all my beauty secrets - but shout out to Tasha, Tara and Erin for the great job they do every time....so much better than any other spa! And to Marvy too for being the best office manager out there! OH - the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because some places around town are doing $1k off this or that, specials on surgery.....I have not see Dr. Dev do this....please correct me if I am wrong. I am not sure who runs this office but oh my goodness. My son has been going to this office for over six months so that he can get a cyst removed from his brow area and the staff is very unprofessional and unreliable. First we waited 3 months for a Pre authorization from the insurance because their pre authorization individual was out of the office and no one else was doing pre authorizations. After they get the preauthorization they schedule my son's surgery and no one talks about our share of cost. So i call the office and they refer me to the hospital where the procedure is going to take place. In the last 30 years i have had many surgeries and i have worked in the medical field and i have never heard this type of nonsense. Usually before a surgery is performed the office that performs the procedure gives you your estimated out of pocket obligation. I called to speak to the office manager and they sent me to the surgery scheduler. The office manager is unreliable and doesn't want to do her job and ensure that patients are happy. How am i supposed to send my son to have surgery without knowing first and foremost my share of cost and if they can't even figure that out, how am i supposed to trust their surgeons when they have such a poor run office. No thank you ....we will not be returning there. What a joke of an office. You are supposed to make sure your patients are taken care of and can answer basic questions. I will be looking for an office where they are organized and know what they are doing. read more

My experience with Dr. Dev & his staff has been great. Each time I visit the staff greets you with a smile, & sometimes a hug. You are not just a patient you are a person with a name (which most of the staff learned quickly). The service & products they provide is first class. Dr Dev was wonderful. Best bedside manner I have ever experience with a physician. Beautiful and nice receptionists. Nurses were kind. Very disappointed the fact I went in with my daughter for a cosmetic consultation about three to four weeks ago and I have not received a pricing on the surgery. I was told I would received an email the next day, I still have not received anything. I have call the office a good six times, asked to speak to the Office Manager, she is always in meetings or out of the office. Have left two voicemails still have not received a call back. Talking to another friend about this she stated she went back in November with a different physician in the same office and she still has not received a quote, not only that but she told me two weeks in a row she has seeing the Office Manager and another staff getting her nails and hair done during one of the many times I was calling. Funny the last two times I called "she was in a meeting" Very very unprofessional, Not sure how many more people are waiting for their pricing, but I went to two other doctor offices and we got scheduled quicker and received a quote the same day of the consultation. read more

i would never recommend dr. dev or his office, my mom has been a patient of his for a few years he did surgery on her and now she is having to go to another doctor for more surgery, my mom is actually afraid of dr. dev now. my mom has called his office numerous times and she never hears back from dr. dev or any of the nurses. i'm very disappointed in the the doctor and his staff. read more
