I called his office, reported my symptoms and requested to see Dr Tunis. His assistant informed me that he did not follow up with his patients after surgery. She instructed me to see my regular eye doctor. I have seen my regular eye doctor multiple times since and I still have double vision. I've also since had to go to Duke to see a specialist due to the issues I continue to have. I had none of these issues prior to cataract surgery. I realize things can happen, but as a surgeon wouldn't you want to make sure your patient was ok? I'm 56 years old and was told today I will have to have another surgery to attempt to correct my vision. In the meantime I continue to see two of everything. The lack of caring by him and his office staff is just beyond belief.
