Went to hand over my card and without missing a beat in his phone conversation the guy says "no plastic". I'm thinking "oh wow okay contactless pay only is intense but i totally get it" and pull up my Apple pay. Still on the phone: no. Cash only. Us: wait. Really? Okay uh do you have an atm Still on phone: no. Whoever he was on the phone said something along the lines of: "you really have to start taking them" because he said "nope. Not doing it. Cash only" He wasn't wearing a mask but he was also on the phone the whole entire time so I didn't even notice until we were like "uh okay. Well bye" If you are going to only take cash and don't have an atm at least put a sign on your door saying "cash only". Most people will see it, head over to an atm, and come back to buy something. If it was ten years ago it wouldn't be a thing, but I don't think I have had cash on me in at least two years.

I hadn't been to an Ollie's since I was in Nashville nearly two summers ago. This store has plenty of parking. I had no problem pulling into a spot fairly close to the entrance and walking in. You can score some cool deals here. It depends on what you are looking for and need. I was here before Easter. There was some good deals on candy and chocolate. I'm sure that it would have been even cheaper after the holiday. I spent a lot of time in the housewares sections. Reusable straws. Frying pans. Tongs. Silicone cookie cutters. Pretty much everything was there. The quality is decent for what you are paying for. I liked some of the quirky items like Yummy Can Bacon where you can cook bacon strips in your microwave. I also liked an LED soap dispenser to make washing your hands more enjoyable. You can save a lot on food. Cereal was cheap with brands like General Mills. I saw a lot of canned items, such as soup and peas. There was a spill in an aisle. A female staffer was sweeping a powdered detergent mess. It did smell nice as I walked by it. Staff are everywhere, but they left shoppers alone. Nice! The book section was cool. Phone accessories were next to it. It was cool seeing wireless chargers and phone mounts for your car. I will always have a soft spot for steering wheel covers at Ollie's. I got one at an Ollie's in Nashville and still use it. It was nice seeing a variety of them at this store. If you are on a budget and like deals on pretty much everything under the sun, you want to come here. It's best to sign up for a free Ollie's Army account. You can get digital coupons and save a bit more. I enjoyed shopping here. I got my fix before I headed home. I hope to drop by again when I'm in the area. (156)

The quality of the cards is somewhat iffy, but I'd rather that than pay out the nose for a Hallmark card. Just recently I was here looking for the perfect card for my husband's birthday. I found it so easily and quickly that I had to believe the gift gods were looking down on me that day. The store doesn't just sell cards and stationary. There's a lot of trinkets and plenty of Christian memorabilia to go around. The ladies at the counter were both polite and wearing masks. Unfortunately, there was a little hiccup with my transaction, but that's because of technical difficulty with the store's system. It all eventually went through and didn't take too long. The store is ultimately the place to go for cards and stationary. It also happens to be next to a post office, which I'm sure was by design. If you want an affordable, nice card to give to someone (or many someones), the Cardsmart shoukd always be your first stop!

The free gifts such as the bag and LED snowman where a nice addition and that's why I'm not giving a one star. One of the ornaments we ordered was missing. We asked the staff member about this and she responded that we didn't have any other ornaments marked off. She went to look for it and said they where sold out. I highly doubt that they'd be sold out of a simple Wall:e ornament on the second day of sales. The staff member did however wave the shipping fee and made sure Wall:e would get to our house. He isn't here yet but I will update with when he arrives. Lastly let me warn people coming into the store that there is a .50 cent sanitation fee on every transaction. They're is an option to get rid of it however you won't know you can until it's to late. Personally I don't understand why it has to be so high. You really think I used 50 cents worth of hand sanitizer and napkins in your store? Just be aware of this fee if your going to shop here. Overall really disappointed in this experience but at least the ornaments are good quality.
