I recently got my first tattoo done at Dapper Dog Tattoo with Mitch ad my artist. The experience was exactly what I had hoped for. I was a walk-in, and luckily Mitch was available immediately. The vibe of the business was clean, welcoming, and warm. I was especially pleased to see LGBTQ+ flags - that's not strictly necessary, but it did add a layer of comfort to be in a queer friendly space as I visited accompanied by my girlfriend. Bonus, the bathroom decor was hilarious! My consultation with Mitch was easy and professional. He was very thorough with making sure I got what I wanted and kept me informed through every step of the process. He was also patient with me - I was very nervous, but he helped me keep my courage with good humor. Instead of being a professional and owning up to his error he just totally stop communicating! Charles Garret is a tattoo wizard, he worked with me to cover up a very poor tattoo I got as a young man and transformed my vision to an Incredible piece of art I will enjoy the rest of my life, His talent, detail and focus on the art of his tattoos is incredible... the shop was great, spotlessly clean with new equipment and tables keeping me comfortable for the 7 hours while I was getting my tattoo, located in the heart of old town Annapolis it's a destination where you can spend a few days wondering the old seaside town, shopping and enjoying some Maryland crab with a cold beer on the harbor. I flew across the country to have Charlie transform the horrible work I got before and he was well worth the trip! I now have what I really wanted. Amazing! What else can I say. We were on vacation and my husband considered getting a tattoo. Well, it then turned into 4 of us getting a tattoo. The studio is so welcoming, clean and fun. We had Phil and Josh do our tattoos. It's an amazing atmosphere and it was so nice to see the artist interacting and appreciating each other's work in progress.
