She is the sweetest and has great communication with us about our boys. She knows their temperaments very well and also knows exactly what we want for our boys. Ashley is also SUPER sweet and always has a smile and a kind word when we see her at the salon or even out in town. She always remembers us and our boys which is rare these days. I highly recommend this doggy salon over many others. They are absolutely fantastic!!!

My appointment was on a Friday. I called them around 2pm on a Thursday to cancel and they started in on their policies! Mind you we were going to be new! I told her our appointment is on Friday she said I would have needed to call that day.. Thursday by 8am! Mind you I called at around 1 pm! I told her Ma'am we are good! You don't have to worry about me rebooking! Audacity must be on sale if calling you the day before to cancel at 1pm is a problem! There are plenty of groomers! Nobody has to put up with you!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this kennel. On last minute notice I ended up boarding my 55lb dog…read morehere. The kennel is on the owners property, so someone is there 24/7. They are flexible with pick up and drop off hours m-f 7am-4pm. The pricing is very reasonable and is a great value. Usually when I pick my dog up from boarding she uses the bathroom immediately once we walk outside, which always leads me to question whether she is left out often enough. This was NOT the case with Oakmere, she came out of her kennel and immediately wanted love from the employee and myself. She gave no indication that she wasn't well taken care of! She smells great, was fed and they spoke so highly of her. I would recommend Oakmere to anyone who asked where I board my dog!

Animal-loving staff. And dare I say, very reasonably priced at $25/ night. They could be greedy and charge more, because they're worth it, but I'm grateful for the value. They require vet records and don't mix dogs from different households. That seems basic practice, but it's not so with other kennels I've visited/ interviewed. Just nice people running a good business!

Nala took to her very easily, she was gentle and thorough with my dog. She was done with the works within an hour and she texted me that she was through. When I arrived it was like a whole new dog! She looked so happy and she even got a cute little Easter bow. I will now be a regular at this establishment and highly recommend taking your dog to Katie for all your grooming needs.

Our 14 year old dog hates being boarded so we decided to try to bring her with us on vacation…read more What a mistake that was!! After several incidents, we sought out a kennel to board her. We found Penny's. This place was amazing!! The owner, I think her name is Barbara, was so kind and truly pampered our fur baby. She actually sat in her bed with her to comfort her and even read to her! Edna's room was comfortable and sunny and had relaxing music playing. If this place was near where we lived, we would use it exclusively.

There are several times I've been impressed with this vet but yesterday they saved my dachshunds life. I noticed her back legs were not working well and immediately called the vet. They did Laser Therapy after doing x-rays. They gave her a full exam. She is doing the laser therapy several times. She has already showed a great deal of improvement. My same dog came to the vet with her back legs not working at all. He told us she needed to have back surgery immediately. He gave us options for places to go. This was when Mattie was 7 years old. She is now 17. I thank them for their kindness, compassion, and care when it comes to our fur babies. Angela Murray
