His pricing is reasonable, his work is thorough, and his work ethic is great. I enjoy helping smaller businesses and hope they continue to thrive. Definitely reach out to Bridge City Soft Wash. I really valued the care he took in completing this job on the weekend. I provided him snacks and hydration and for him to be safe and take his time. I've done just my small garage roof in the past and it's serious work. I'll use David in the future. A+ work.

I had noticed moss growing on the roof right outside our second story window and thought "well that…read morecan't be good". Coming from a place where it doesn't rain 9 out of 12 months I had to educate myself a little about this subject. Thinking about it now it was probably not that ideal season to get this done however I didn't think about that at the time. Bridge City Soft Wash was one of the first companies that popped up on Yelp when I did a search for "roof moss removal". Google had provided what a cleaning and treating would cost so that's pretty much all I had to go for in terms of what to expect. I send a message through Yelp and provided what I wanted to get done and hoped for the best. David responded really quickly and even told me he could be out the next day to take care of the roof, which was on a Sunday too. The price he quoted was what I was expecting to pay so why delay it, I said "see you tomorrow!". David showed up and proceeded to clean and treat the roof. Took about an hour to and hour and a half. I can't really say how good the job was since 95% of the job is on the second story so it's not something I can see but I could hear him using the brush around the roof while he was here so I have no reason to doubt the quality of the job done. He even offers a 1 year warranty on his work so that just gives a little bonus on top of everything. Overall, really satisfied with David and Bridge City Soft Wash and I'd recommend him to anyone needing the services he can provide.

I'm looking forward to hiring David and his company in the future.

I really like giving small local businesses a chance so I gave this contractor a second chance when…read morehe showed up late and with no notice after cancelling suddenly for the scheduled time for the initial consult. I shouldn't have. He kept delaying when he would do the job, finally just announcing they'd be there the next day. That wouldn't have been that much of a problem, even though it was sudden, except that I'd been asking him for a contract proposal for a week and he'd kept telling me he'd get to it but didn't. I finally told him that he couldn't come the next day (it was after 6pm by this point) because I still hadn't seen a proposal and wanted a chance to look it over before they started and wouldn't have a chance to do that due to his delays. All of a sudden, he texted me that I'd have to find another contractor because I was too difficult to work with. Because I'd asked for a contract for a $5000 project, to protect both of us, and wanted more than 12-14 hrs to read it over. I'm ultimately glad he showed his colors early, I have no confidence at all that he wouldn't have just stolen my money and vanished. Extremely unprofessional and very shady. Research other contractors, this is not normal behavior.

Prep and pour/stamp and stain was done in one day and he came back to wash and seal a few days later. Very professional, great guy to talk to and amazing at what he does. Would recommend

I contacted NW Tree Work based off all the fantastic reviews here. When initially meeting with John…read moreI was told that the project would be done within an hour of there set date. The project being a tree removal, as well planting within a foot away (due to sprinklers only being able to reach so far). With that being said I had set a time and date with them to do the job. I ordered the tree for delivery the day prior, but once the day came for the job it was a no show. Concerned, I contacted NW Tree Work to see what was going on. Turns out they are short staff. I'm pretty reasonable so I go ahead and try to reschedule. This time, I'm told the job is more complex so a new date is set. Once the new date rolls around, again, no show. At this point I'm constantly contacting NW Tree Work to the point they are reading my messages but not replying. I have to call every single time to get a hold of someone, to which I'm told I will get a reply later in the day, and to which I don't. It takes me contacting each day to try and reschedule only to be told a date the project will get done by and for someone to not show up. Big waste of time. On top of that, when speaking to John he assured me the prior weekend he'd get the job done and not only that move the tree out of public view and water it so it's okay. Sadly, none of that ever happened or came into fruition, the trees flowers started dying off due to it not being properly taken care of which it would have been had it been planted as planned. Ultimately this lead to a lot of back and forth. Whether its short-staffed or health related issues, telling a customer a date you're going to get the job done and continuously bailing is not the right response to do. The kicker was John calling me later that day to tell me how to give more trust and understanding to professionals and how delays happen and it's all normal. How about building that trust with customers first by not bailing on them multiple times over and over again, then we can have that conversation. Aside from all the negatives, I can give them credit for at least reimbursing me on the tree (though they only would if they ended up taking it). I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but I think it's important for anybody else on this platform to be informed with what potential risks you have working with certain companies. Emotions aside, this is just my personal experience with the company and for that I would not recommend them moving forward.

Where should I start, I'll just list…read more.. 1) started later than agreed to and finished way past the stated work timeframe 2) artificial turf, was not finished along the edges where the turf meets the mulch, I had another company come out and finish the turf 3) several plants have died while others right next to them have thrived which tells me they were not planted correctly or the drips are not near the plants roots. Also, when they plant they do not use any kind of soil amendment like most companies automatically include. 4) Edges of the turf have been consistently peeling up along the pavers, not sure if this is the high-quality turf I paid for or a cheap imitation, but I never had this happen on prior turf that I had installed that looked as good as new 6 years after it was installed 5) one of the irrigation low voltage lines was cut, and when this was pointed out to him, he stated I probably did it. He worked out a cheap workaround with a battery operated timer (not connected to the one in the garage) to get the backyard irrigation running. The junction box was not buried like it should be but left on top of the mulch with exposed wires. Valves stopped working about six weeks later and when I contacted him, he said it was not under warranty, but he could come out and repair it. I hired another company to come out and fix it, and they indicated that the work was some of the worst that they had ever seen. Speaking of irrigation, I have a leak somewhere as you can see in one of my photos where the water is still running and the drips are off and I have one area where the connection came apart and had to repair it myself. I'll be having the sprinkler company come out to bury the junction box, fix the leak, and fix the area where they connected the drip system to the sprinkler head. (Great company by the way) 6) as soon as he had finished the work he was demanding payment. He was contacting me repeatedly, and I felt his tone was somewhat hostile. I told him I wanted to check everything out before paying him and when I did, I found out that the irrigation in the back was not working. He still demanded payment stating he had workers to pay and I told him I wasn't going to pay until he fixed the irrigation. I agreed to pay him part of what I owed, and I would pay him the balance when the irrigation was working. A week later he did his "work around". 7) communication was very poor throughout the project. The six day project ended up taking over three weeks and was incomplete when I had family visit in town which he knew about prior to starting the job. These are just some of the reasons why I do not recommend this company in anyway . I've done a lot of renovations in the many homes I have owned, this is by far the worst contractor I've ever worked with.
