I was charged for 4 hours work EACH (8 hours) and a trip fee for coming out to Southampton (30-35 min). The total was $1115 for 2 hours work and TOPS 1.5 hours drive roundtrip. When I questioned the rate, this was the response: "I'm sorry Hourly rates are based off employees salary and benefits so when they are on the clock those rates are charged to the beneficiary they may not have been Physically at your project but that's the total hours they had into it " How are you charging for their time when not here? Doesn't the service fee cover that? And they weren't both working but taking turns. And the water did not thaw. The next morning I went out and the water had thawed thankfully. Ryan was responsive when I reached out so I appreciate that, but the charges were over the top.
