The smell of fresh chocolate hits you the second you open the door and instantly triggers a craving for pure sweetness. It is a total sugar lover's paradise. We started with a mint chocolate chip milkshake that can simply be summed up as a masterpiece. Easy five stars on that alone. Next up was a double scoop on a waffle cone, which was huge and made to perfection. The chocolate chip flavor was just okay, but the strawberry? It tasted like they literally went out to a farm, picked the strawberries, and turned them into ice cream right there. That flavor deserves a 10 out of 5. Since Yelp caps me at five stars, five stars it shall be. If you're anywhere near Burlington and need a sugar fix, do not pass this place up.

It was really good. Unfortunately it was too hot of a day to purchase chocolate of any kind. We were still going to be walking around and it would melt for sure before we got it back to our place. The chocolates did look really good. We sat outside in their seating area, just outside the door. Wishing them all the best in their business endeavors.

Ordered bulk truffles for my sons baptism. They shipped the next day and I had them at my home the following day. They came packaged nicely and none were broken. We chose white Chocolate almond, hazelnut milk chocolate, and dark chocolate grand marnier. All three flavors were delish! Creamy, not too sweet, and packed full of flavor. I would order from them again for sure. I wish they had a sample tray of all their flavors because I did take a chance but at the price, I couldn't help it and I was especially lucky I got good flavors. read more

I have been sending these to my friends for about four or five years and the feedback is amazing. The chocolates have a very creamy center, and what I really like about them is that there is actually chocolate in the center, as opposed to sugar being draped in chocolate. Usually I get them at Valentine's Day, but at Christmas they have had free ground shipping. read more

Don't expect calls back from this company. I've left 4 messages disputing charges and have yet to receive a call back. Not a good look for a company, especially considering I've been ordering from them for almost 8 years. With him being new to the family it was important that we make him feel included in the Christmas Stocking Treats Tradition. Vermont Nut-Free Chocolates came to our rescue. He thoroughly enjoyed each selection we purchased last year. This year we ordered even more items. We received an email alert from both USPS and Vermont Chocolates that my package had arrived but when we went to the door there wasn't a package. We contacted our neighbors and none of them had it. So we emailed both USPS and Vermont Chocolates about the problem (both closed for the evening). Early the next morning we received an email from Vermont Chocolates informing us that not only had they already created a replacement pkg but they would rush shipping so it would arrive in 3 days. We were extrememly thankful but told them we needed the pkg before we left for out of town (2 days) or we couldn't use it. So Vermont Chocolates switched their shipping service and paid for 2-day rush delivery. All of this at $0 cost to us. Most companies would have just just apologized or at best, refunded me my purchase cost. But I was desperate for the nut free chocolates and Vermont Chocolates didn't disappoint. I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to correct an issue that they didn't cause. And keep in mind, this was the busiest week for Christmas shoppers yet they immediately and thoroughly addressed our issue.
