I was at my son's house over the weekend to do some work, and I found myself seriously disappointed again. My son was not able to stay while they worked, and they took advantage of that. They "trimmed" a tree for him. They also took him for thousands. They removed 5 limbs from a tree. All of which could be reached with a ladder. They charged 3000.00. There were no power lines in the area. The limbs that they cut were not over the structures. There was no clean up, no hauling away, nothing. Just limbs down. I will definitely not be recommending them again. It seems that they only do a decent job if you stand there and watch them.

Been responsible and had Phillips Paving seal the driveway as recommended every two years. Large cracks have developed. Last fall we had Phillips Paving to also hot seal the larger cracks which developed. During the 2017/ 2018 winter new, larger cracks have developed that go completely across the driveway. These are not small but very large over 7 feet each. Call Owner Joe Phillips in May to discuss the large cracks, he said he would swing by to look at them. In July, call Joe Phillips again, he once again said he would get by the house to look at the driveway. He never showed up to look as he said. Called the main office to set up someone to visit as I want these cracks hot seal these prior to winter. Called three times, each time told that someone would visit. To date, no one has called, no contact, no response! This is how you treat a loyal client who kept coming back to have you do the work. We have paid over $ 1,000.00 to seal this driveway on top of the $ 6,000.00 originally paid. Poor customer service all the way around! In turn, I have since learned that the cracks which now are part of the driveway are in part caused by one step Phillips Paving did not do. They should have sealed the original old driveway prior to putting the new asphalt on top. This is allowing water to push up from under the old driveway to the new one causing major cracks. I was quoted $50 for every two weeks and they would bill me monthly. When the bill came due they gave me a discount which I did not expect. They use a decent payment system via Quickbooks so I just paid with a card, no cash, no sketchy apps on my phone digging in my bank account. Really well done. Yes I recommend them.
