I have used this business before for both a clock move and routine maintenance, but that was about…read more5 years ago. Since then something has clearly changed. I called last week to set up an appointment for a clock move from my previous residence to my new one. They told me they could do Thursday 6/29 between 10 and 11. I arrive at 10 on the dot, in case they were to show at the earliest point in he appointment range, to find a paper stuck in the door with their business's information and "no show" written on it. Now, I have had everything from pianos to safes to appliances moved or delivered in the past month, and large bulky item appointments are handled on a time range. Much like various repair calls (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and any other number of services, you make sure you're there throughout the range they give you, and when they show they perform your service. Not this business apparently. When I called to inquire as to what the mixup could have been, and after hanging up on me once, he confirmed that my appointment was at 10 and that he had left at 10. What? First of all, that has to be a lie, because I was there at that time, and I have Ring cameras that can confirm that. He left BEFORE 10 am even came and went. Second, who leaves a scheduled appointment in the dust without so much as a phone call or waiting even 5 minutes? He claims he was 15 minutes early and left promptly at 10. Ridiculous.

I took him my sister's broken mantle clock and he cleaned and fixed that to a beautiful condition. He did an excellent job and was very responsive when I called for info. If you call him he can tell you whether he will take a look at a specific type of clock/issue.

I had a nice HiSense 55" that the backlight died after 2 years (2 months out of warranty). He was right and with a reasonable price to fix, the TV is back in business.

We called the maker of the TV and got no where even though we were on the phone for forever. We called the Geek Squad at the store where we bought it and were blown off. Good news is.. the guys at Hunter's fixed our TV for $200! They replaced a backlight and now it works like before. They have been in business for many years. They also fix other electronics and install car stereo systems. This repair was way cheaper than buying another TV. They removed the TV from the car upon drop off and loaded it at pick up. It was a good experience.

My boyfriend recently visited this repair shop. His phone's bottom half was half-white. He got it…read morefixed for $350. The first screen he had replaced stopped working within a few days. The screen would press buttons on its own, locking him out of his phone, making calls, and sending money from Cash App. So, he returned to get it replaced. The second screen was free, but now his phone flickers whenever he's not using it. He has an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the display screens don't always turn off. So, it's constantly flickering throughout the day and night. And it goes basically white all over the screen.. I'm not sure what's wrong with these screens, but seeing the two screens my boyfriend had gotten from this shop, I strongly advise against using their services. The customer service was good for what I heard though.

Finally called and spoke with Anthony (owner) on Tuesday 11/19/20 and arranged for him to pick my mower up which he said would be late Wednesday afternoon (11/20/19). Wednesday came and went an he never showed up. Call first thing Thursday morning to find out why he never showed up and had to leave a message and he never called me back. I don't understand how a business can treat customers that way and stay in business. It's like they just don't give a damn any more if they earn your business or not even though the the website says he provides the highest level of customer service. I call BS on that because I received the lowest level of customer service, NONE! I would never recommend this business to any one. UPDATE: 12/05/2019 Got my repaired mower back today. The man that repaired it says the reason it failed was Minton's Small Engine put the wrong starter on it. They used a starter with a nylon gear to engage a fly wheel with a steel ring set. The starter they put on my mower was for a fly wheel with an aluminum ring set. This caused the nylon gear on the starter to fuse into the fly wheel causing the starter bind up, overheat and fail. He said he was surprised it lasted as long as it did because it usually only takes 2-3 times of starting a mower with the wrong starter gear on it before it fails. SMFH!! $230 waisted and I had to pay to fix Minton's mistake. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
