I ordered delivery for the first time. I ordered pork fried rice, with fried chicken wings, and an egg roll. It was pretty good! It was packaged nice, the food tasted fresh and it hit the spot for sure! Alittle pricey but still tasted great! read more

I like the place very much but lately I've been having a problem. I love their ribs on the bone, but the last couple of times they have been burning them. They always agree to replace them, a driver or I go to pick them up. It's just been very frustrating and annoying. I will take a break and try again next month. read more

It's a great neighborhood take out place. The ribs are north of great. Give them a try.

The food was a waste of $45.00 The Spare ribs were so burnt they were ash, The roast pork lo mein was nasty it tasted like burned oil. The pork fried rice was nasty it also burned. The egg roll was raw dough inside . We threw the food out after 1 bite of each dish! Never again ! Sharisse read more

It would be nice if they delivered what you ordered. My order was wrong and although it was on Uber, they said they would resend it, however, they said I was too far away. They would give me a store credit, which is nice, but doesn't make the problem, correct go ahead the point of ordering is getting what you order and getting it delivered. read more

The food portions are adequate to large especially the buy one get 1 offers. We like abolity to choose options for the meals such as items you don't want or want to add. 1 read more

when Danny's first opened, they promoted food that was natural. Now they have sauces with yellow #5 and Red#40. Even their dry noodles is bioengineered. Not good at all. read more

The dumplings were so greasy and overcooked. They were in edible. The sesame chicken was dried out I will never order from you again. read more

More like 3.5 stars. Ordered delivery and it came exactly on time. Food was tasty and the portions were absolutely massive. However, it was very oily. Favorite was the steamed pork dumplings and scallion pancakes. We also had the happy family and sesame tofu. They didn't give utensils or fortune cookies, and the dumplings were missing sauce. read more

Uber Eats Date: December 5, 2022 I got a bunch of food from Danny's on December 5. I was really looking for eggdrop soup but when I use uber eats to order sometimes I end up ordering extra food to make a certain order amount to get free delivery. Danny's also had some BOGO specials. So I got two pints of egg drop soup, 2 orders of veggie dumplings and one order of eggplant in garlic sauce with vegetable fried rice. The eggdrop soup was good I had one pint, my dad ate one after I bought it home. The vegetable dumplings were good as well but I didn't find any of the good brown dumpling sauce Chinese places usually give you with dumplings. The eggplant in garlic sauce was good too and the veggie fried rice was awesome. I'm impressed with my first time eating from a Danny's Chinese Kitchen. read more

Visited for the first time on a Sunday evening in February. The heavy-set woman was rude, dismissive, and acted like I owed her something. She refused to answer a simple yes-or-no question and ended with a snarky "have a nice day"--in the evening. The attitude was unbearable, and the food was so awful it could make you sick. Never returning. If her attitude were little better, I might have given a break, but nah ! read more

Best fried rice in NY PERIODT! There use to be a Chinese Jamaican place i use to love to visit growing up in Miramar FL and this is if not the same cook that i swear just moved up here or could possibly be just an amazing coincidence that i happen to live so close to the greatest childhood memory of my life I always order their boneless ribs lo mein & pineapple chicken. It's basically Hawaiian chicken if you use to hollyhood fried style chicken wings always crispy but you can ask for double fried if you MUST if they had dumpling soup that's news to me and i MIST TRY!!!! The location is P E R F E C T and their sign is most noticeable and appealing. If them a try i bet you'll love them just as much as we do! Shannfam & local Regulars read more

First time patron. Just ordered shrimp mei fun and it was delicious. Definitely will be going back.

Living here in Oceanside 25yrs and ate me some great Chinese. This is my 3rd time ordering from Dannys. Last 2 times were underwhelming but gave 1 more chance as an in person pickup to eliminate the delivery cool down. sesame chicken hard and dry. Lomein (they accomodated lomein substitution for rice) tasteless with little to no pork strips. 2 pieces of broccoli. Even their "homemade" mustard was tasteless. Other 2 times I ordered soup and general tso's. The biggest assault was 1 combo plate $16 pickup in store. Wow. Stick with China King on brower. read more

My wife and I recently have tried Danny's kitchen. We ordered the Mongolian beef. It was more like Mongolian onions. It was horrible bad experience will never have it again. read more

Sent me the wrong food, kid on the phone was terrible and didnt care. Spoke to someone else who offered to send me right order...I told him next time I order, you'll give it to me for free... Next time came, same kid on the phone, I asked for someone else, and of course, they wouldn't honor the free meal. Last time I order from them... Plenty of Chinese restaurants around. read more

Tomato egg drop soup tasted like soupified ketchup to me. Was hoping it would taste like tomato egg stir fry but in soup form, but was more like sweet ketchup to me. Wonton skins were too thick. One order of wontons could fill you up because it's all carbs. Eggplant and tofu sauce was watery and not flavorful. Egg foo young was fine. Neutral impression of it. Ordered from here on very enthusiastic recommendation from locals. Don't think I'd come back - there are better Chinese restaurants in LI. read more

Excellent. Clearly made with quality in hand. The General Tso Chicken is bang on and was clearly cooked with a good quality chicken. Fried Chicken wings were freshly made. Philly cheese steak, Pastrami and Apple pie egg rolls are top tier. Got lots of condiments for all items. This is a gem hidden in long island it seems. read more

Pass I ordered chicken dumplings only was to eat a half of one and the boneless spare ribs were to stale like chewing beef jerky

Had china town style soup and wonton soup - both great, not salty... very generous on the wontons. Hot wings were spicy and crispy (would've been crispier if there were holes poked to let out the steam); egg roll; boneless spare ribs; chow fun... included homemade duck sauce, hot oil and mustard. The portions were so generous we are set for days with leftovers. The food we had was excellent and would definitely recommend. read more

I have ordered food from Oceanside Danny's several times now. The pork dishes are generally okay, but the chicken doesn't seem real to me. It feels like a congealed pressed meat. I threw it out. Wontons in its namesake soup are tasteless. I've given the place many opportunities, wanting a local place to order from, but honestly, this won't be my place. No more tries for me. read more

I've been eating Danny's for years in Merrick which I love. The staff and food in Merrick is always good!!! I happened to be in Oceanside and decided to stop in... the food tasted different and didn't have the same vibe as Merrick. read more

sesame chicken used to be pretty good, but now it's no good. The chicken is overcooked, hard and dry. I couldn't even stick a fork in it or swallow a piece for fear that I would choke. When I arrived, I saw them just finishing a fresh batch of chicken and asked if that was the chicken they were going to use to make my order, They said yes but it didn't matter because it was still dry and hard. I will not be ordering it ever again. read more

Best Chinese food ever!! Love that you get to really customize the your order to your liking,, their fried rice is incredible!!! My family has ordered from Danny's Chinese Kitchen in Oceanside 4X since late 2022 and just recently as two days ago. OMG. Delicious, not greasy, fresh, no MSG, perfectly seasoned. What a difference from the Chinese Take-Out places that we have tried locally. It is expensive, but so worth it for not having to cook. Our latest orders were shrimp and chicken lo mein, chicken with broccoli, General Tso's Chicken, wonton soup and spring rolls. read more

The food is still good. But the prices keep going up. And the portions went down by a third. I was not happy.

I ordered food over the phone, and picked it up myself. The kitchen looked clean, and that's important. My order was ready on time. The food was tasty, and cooked properly. Jfk read more

I just tried a new Chinese takeout for lunch with the family. Danny's in Syosset. We ordered 3 luncheon specials. Chicken and Broccoli, sesame chicken, and beef chow fun. All 3 meals had hot and sour soups. The soups were average with some kick to it. Very good. The beef chow fun was good. The sesame chicken were large white meat chicken pieces that looked fabulous. All portions were large. The chicken and broccoli was rubbery. The sesame chicken was all rubber and just spit out and thrown away. I guess I will stick to the best and most expensive.
