    W. Wilson…read more On Feb. 27th, 2024, I dropped my 2015 Nissan truck at Gerber Collision & Glass to have my bumper fixed after someone else had run into it. On March 5th, 2024 at 5:36 p.m., a Matt Lombard whom I had been dealing with called to say that Gerber had lost my vehicle key and did Wanda Wilson have a spare key. Yes I have a spare key. Matt came to my house and picked up spare key. When Matt arrived I didn't understand how you lose a vehicle key unless it was not marked to my vehicle. Matt said shop guy lost it. That was the beginning of my trouble. I informed Matt the key would have to be replaced by Gerber at no charge to me. Gerber did replace the key for free. On March 12th, 2024 W, Wilson received a text that my vehicle was ready, Gerber was sending vehicle to buff dept., and a courtesy wash. No wash and no clean up. Gerber called on March 14th, 2024 saying vehicle was ready. W Wilson picked up vehicle. W, Wilson went back to Gerber about 2 weeks later informing Matt that parts were taken off the vehicle and not put back on. Matt was trying to tell me that those parts were not there and that W. Wilson was delusional . I told Matt I have been driving this vehicle for 7 years and I know what was here. Screws were also taken out and not put back. W. Wilson will never take my vehicle to Gerber and will not refer any one to them. I assumed parts were taken off and not put back on to be used as after market parts and unprofessional and irresponsible. Matt claimed he would look for parts and get back to me. That never happened. I guess since they had been paid by insurance everything else was irrelevant to Gerber and Matt Lombard.

I worked with them on repairs through my insurance company. It was a small repair which another…read moreshop said would've only taken them 2 days; however, it is over a week with them. Second, they said it was fine to drop off my car after hours. I did on Tuesday. On Friday I get a call saying they haven't touched my vehicle because they needed a signature from me to authorize the repairs. Um... In the meantime, I am renting a vehicle. So in addition to my deductible, I now am paying over 1K in car rental fees because they cannot effectively communicate or run a business. Not to mention the lady tried to gaslight me, saying she told me that when I called about drop off. SERIOUSLY? Why would I leave me car and pay a rental fee for a week (which you could have called any of the 4 days in between to tell me) if you told me that? 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Go to ANY other body shop for your repairs. I would like to say that the first few times I spoke with them, they had excellent phone etiquette and that was nice. If you value your time and money, this isn't the place.

Jim Norton called me shortly there after to schedule a date and time for me to bring the car in. Got a rental car to use while the car was out of commission. Someone else picked up the car for me the first time and was in a hurry so they really didn't inspect things. When I fiat saw it though though things obviously didn't fit properly where the bumper joined the car. Further brief inspections found cover panels missing on inside the door, other loose items and extra screws found in the back. When I looked further there were panels under the hood not screws in and the cap wasn't even on the washer fluid unit. The edges of panels didn't fit together smoothly and the paint was Not buffed our smooth. Things even a cursory quality control inspection would have caught. Perhaps they are just eager to get the loaner car back before the holiday weekend but it was truly sub par works. I took it back and the made careful notes of everything I pointed out. They had it several more days (no apology from the facility manager. No quick arrangements for a rental car) On a positive note, i must admit that I told them to fix the rear tail light while they were at it and they did. Well got it back again should be fixed right? Nope. The front camera was joking working and the blind spot detection wasn't working on one side. They later balanced the blind spot fault on a switch being turned off (I took as blaming me) except it worked on one side not the other. Ultimate I told them to take it over to the nissan dealership for a review of their work. Not compels satisfied that they did the "courtesy" inspection instead of a paid one; but I'm not surprised. Maybe ok for a Toyota product but I would not go here again and although I have bought Toyota's from their affiliate dealership before; I'm done with them. Still all these months later I wonder when I am going to find something wrong or have my front bumper fall off... but so far their third attempt at repairs seems to have held on.
