More people - still only ONE bartender
    Michael B.

Came in for the UFC fight and the place was packed. $10 cover - no biggie. But ONE BARTENDER and he is awesome but overwhelmed by the crowd and the fact that he is serving AND cleaning up glasses while dozens wait for drinks. Whoever owns this place needs to give the bartender a huge raise and hire at least another person or two for nights like this. Again - great bartender - but the owners need to spend more to serve better

Absolute Class Joint!!! The Wife- "Cleanest bathrooms" Game sucked because Man Utd is trash... but the environment was so fun!

It's not easy finding a sports bar that will play tennis, but Danny Coyle's fits the bill! A friend called ahead to see if they would play the Indian Wells men's final one Sunday (as he had had trouble watching the semifinals at other bars the day before on Saturday) and Danny Coyle's accommodated us, even letting us put it on the big TV! This was a big deal because it was March Madness season, and there were quite a few college basketball fans trickling in (especially Creighton at the time.) Service was perfect, very friendly and helpful and jokey. I like how they have three bathrooms. The decor is fun--I'll be back to watch soccer with my brother. Looks like it's the spot to watch Man U and Premier League. The pool table is also fun--be careful so you don't get hit by a cue. Would recommend the Bloody Mary as well--I forgot to say don't put in too much vodka (hey, it was a Sunday afternoon and I had to bike home!) and the amount of alcohol was perfect. There's parklets outside and a nice bike rack so you can drink and ride and watch your bike. I'll be back and will tell friends and relatives about it as well :) I'll also try to make it back for Wednesday night trivia one week!

Great ambiance for watching sports! Beer selection was good. At the time of me being there, chips were the only snack option. But it was a wide variety!

This is an awesome sports pub and the owner is a great guy and super friendly. On a sunny day the front windows are open and the ambiance is perfect. There's also a parklet with plenty of seating if you'd prefer to be outside. The best part is, this is an Official Manchester United bar and match days are a blast! Welcoming to all fans, but especially Man Utd fans! Come sing a few chants, have a pint and meet some new friends while we cheer on our Reds to victory! GGMU!!

This is now an official Manchester United Supporters Pub. Had so much fun here the other weekend. A bunch of fans gather here for every game and the atmosphere is electric! They chant, they sing, they drink. This is the best place to watch live games if you're a soccer fan. Loads of HDTVs, pool tables, darts and Guinness on draught. Brian, the owner, is a great guy and is also a United supporter. If you're a United supporter too, join them: http://linktr.ee/redarmysf

Great place to get a few scoops. Great crowd, pool table. Very friendly staff especially young Evan took great care of us.

My first day-drinking sojourn in 15 months and it was fantastic. The sun was shining and there was no wind. If this was a sign of better days ahead, I am optimistic. A few buddies and I knocked back several pints of Stella while catching. I hadn't seen one friend in years so it was great to drink some cold beer and a warm, SF day. Our server was on pointe with making sure our beers kept coming. This is a great spot to remember that life is better spent outdoors.

Good spot to get a tasty pint of beer and watch a game! Wish they had a food menu, but they let you bring in food.

Bar was packed when we left around 10:30 am on a Sunday!

Ask the Community - Danny Coyle's

What time does trivia begin on Wednesday?

    Hi Erin @8pm

How early do you recommend arriving to get a seat for trivia?

    30 min or so

Is there still trivia nights here?

    Yes! Every Wednesday.

Do they usually play PPV fights? I'm looking for a place to watch the Pacquiao-Broner fight this Saturday.

Yes. Danny Coyles is very reliable for showing fights. The do typically charge cover for most MMA/PPV fights.

Are kids (age 7) allowed here during day to view a soccer match?

    No only adults

Will there be a good number of Seahawks fans there tonight?

    Yes

We're not in this part of SF often, and neither of us are sports fans by any means, so a mega sports bar might seem like an odd choice, but from the reviews and pics, the spot looked fun. So on our most recent weekend trip to SF to celebrate RB's birthday, we made it a point to visit. This place is HUGE. Located in Chase Center, Splash is a two-story sports bar with TV screens everywhere. I imagine it gets packed out on game days. If you're into sports, this is definitely your happy place. I tried the Splash cocktail, which was very tasty, potent, and not overly sweet. They have a very respectable selection of various beers as well. Food-wise we opted for a couple of their sushi rolls - yes, they have sushi! We tried the Splash Roll and the Chase Heat Roll, both tasty. The food menu is pretty extensive, especially for a sports bar, and includes pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, sushi rolls, tacos, burgers, and salads. Something for everyone. Service was good, the gentlemen working the bar were nice. The space is clean and well-maintained, and reminds me of bars in Vegas. Fun spot, would return. Cheers!

Later, he refused to serve me anything else and even told staff not to serve me, claiming a "manager" instructed it (which wasn't true -- the actual manager was nice to me later on, and got me drinks). I tried to handle everything respectfully, but I left feeling anxious and mistreated. I've never been yelled at like that in a restaurant before. The staff were also friendly, and since we got more people than expected, the owner even came in to help. Now the not-so-good. They had a surcharge for credit cards. I can understand this for a dive bar, but it seems like a full-service sports bar like this shouldn't have a credit card surcharge in 2025. The bigger issue was that the credit card surcharge was not disclosed either on the menu nor on the receipt. I actually had to ask the bartender about this; the subtotal and tax did not add up to the total, and the bartender explained that the missing amount was the credit card surcharge. This should be listed out to make it clear as well as disclosed in advance, as I might have opted to pay with cash. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries (included in the price). Unfortunately, the fries were not hot when I received them, which is definitely a miss when it comes to fries. The wrap itself was just ok - I feel like it could have used more dressing. Some other people at our watch party had to wait an hour for their food, though I will cut them some slack since the watch party brought more people than expected and they were short-staffed. They also gave some free food to people that had to wait a long time, which was nice. Overall, a good spot to watch a game, but not a fan of the hidden credit card surcharge and the food has potential but has room for improvement.

What originally started as a disappointment became a huge blessing once we found the board room. Feet aching, sweaty, and tired we made our way to this bar. Immediately you could tell it's a local favorite, the ambiance was nice and a great spot to people-watch. There was a cup flipping event which was super fun to spectate, along side the rotating pictures of the bar's beloved pooches . We ordered 2 western burgers, 12 count bone-in wings (half bbq, half Hawaiian), and an appetizer of corn dogs, tater tots, bacon Mac & cheese bites, and mozzarella sticks. Later we also added boneless buffalo wings which were so tangy, well-seasoned, and HOT. The western bacon burgers were so delicious, crispy bacon, crispy onion rings, and some bomb.com bbq sauce. The wings were drowned in sauce (just how we like them) , the bbq was to die for and the Hawaiian had the perfect little kick of spice for our picky eaters. The appetizer platter was also fried to perfection, with the perfect crunch on the tater tots & corn dogs. The Mac & cheese bites & mozzarella sticks were perfectly cheesed, with an amazing cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks. Along with the food, my boyfriend and I ordered some drinks. I got a margarita and he got a Guinness. Both drinks were good, very standard and well served. The couple behind the bar were very funny and super kind to us being dazed after all the walking.
