These people are ding-A-lings! What kind of reputable company turns down potential new customers…read morebecause they only service newer irrigation systems? My house was built in 1995 and that isn't an old house by any means. With an attitude and dismissive policy like this, it serves as a RED FLAG to anyone using this company! I wouldn't trust a company that only is interested in servicing new irrigation systems, tells me they aren't professionals nor competent! Move on! Don't trust these people!

Every year they call the day before to let me know what time they would be here. They did not this year. Therefore, I was not home when they came. Was told they emailed. When I advised I did not receive an email, pretty much too bad. They tried to email while we were on the phone and I was told it wouldn't go through. I'd have to wait another 16 days. Spoke to another person whose response was "I can't make my employees work past the 12 hours a day they already work. You weren't home. We can't call everyone any longer, we email. Nothing I can do. Maybe you can put it in your phone or on your calendar".

When red flags abound, it is a good sign never to use these people for anything!…read more Two (2) of my neighbors use this company and so I thought it would be easy for them to come to my place as well. A good company would just love referrals and new business all in the same immediate area. For a couple of weeks I tried getting through to them and left messages. When they did return my calls, I was unavailable. There is rarely anyone that answers their phone nor do they communicate with people very well. Finally, when I did get through to them on March 18th after asking me several unnecessary questions, I was told they were all booked up and if they get an opening they will call me. Mind you, my neighbor uses these fools so all Thomas Irrigation has to do is walk across the lawn and get my sprinkler system up and running! How easy is that? A Big F U because I'm not waiting on anybody! If you can't give me a definite answer today, I am NOT going to be on some waiting list and of course, I'd never hear from them again! Thomas Irrigation needs a reality check! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Once they are done with setting you up, they get paid and now they don't answer their phone messages. Two (2) of my heads, broke and never once called me back. Very poor way to run a business! TERRIBLE SCHEDULING & VERY RUDE. We are LONG-TIME CUSTOMERS. Yesterday, we had an appointment that…read morehad been booked FOR WEEKS with Lake Irrigation to turn on our sprinkler system and test our backflow, but (consistent problem), THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. We wasted a day waiting for them at home. They also did NOT CONTACT US to let us know they wouldn't be coming. I've called them twice and texted twice...NO RESPONSE. My wife (calling from a different phone) had no problem getting through. The lady who handles scheduling (Karen) said in an annoyed tone (NO APOLOGY), "I'm out of town. I don't know if you were on the schedule. I can't even look at this until tonight." Again, no apology. No attempt to re-schedule. My wife asked, "Wait, you don't show up and you can't even reschedule me or tell me when you're actually going to come do the job?" The lady snapped: "I'm not home!" and HUNG UP ON MY WIFE. I spoke to this woman twice in the past month about this appointment: ONCE to book and ONCE to confirm they will also do a backflow test. She confirmed both and I even texted her our CCN# earlier this week. One more thing: WE DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. On June 22, 2023, we had ANOTHER APPOINTMENT to turn on our sprinklers. Lake made us (again) waste an entire day, NOT SHOWING UP, not contacting us and not apologizing. I have no idea why we kept doing business with Lake Irrigation, but we will NOT make that same mistake again and are looking for a good alternative in our area.

The first technician did an incomplete job so we called them to come back and finish the job. Their "service manager" Chad shows up and starts making excuses for why things are not working properly. From the beginning he started defending his company and blaming the previous owner. We never blamed their company. We just wanted it fixed. Again he starts making excuses and blaming the previous owner. He was arrogant, argumentative and unhelpful. I would ask questions and he got more arrogant and eventually walked off without fixing the work they didn't complete. Very sorry we ever called them.
