It was Saturday about 11am when I was finally able to find an Oral Surgeon who was not only open, but was willing wait for me to drive the hour long trip to her office. Which is a big deal when you consider they closed at noon and that's about when I would be arriving. When I walked into the office I was greeted by a staff wearing smiles like they'd just hit the Powerball. They got me in, sat me down and made me feel like a long lost brother who had just come home. That's when The Heroine of the story walked in. Yup it was Dr. Pamela Alberto an actual Oral Surgeon, and she was open for business, Baby. (meaning she was ready to deal with that foul tooth.) I've been to dentists before, but I have never had an experience like Dr. Alberto. She was amazing. Even the numbing shots she put into my gums were painless. When she went to work she knew exactly what she was doing. There was no hesitation, no guessing. Bada Bing Bada Boom Betty Boop and the tooth was out. And let me tell ya, my teeth don't come out easy. I've had regular Dentists give up. It's Dr. Pamela Alberto and her excellent staff for this man from now on. I don't care if I have to drive across the Country to get to her. Joseph R.

I met with Dr. Alberto and she was very reassuring that she would take good care of me. I am on day 2 and it's hard to tell from looking at me that I had surgery. There is practically no swelling. There is very little pain. I am taking 1 Advil and a Tylenol for pain, just as a precaution. I can't say enough about how relieved and PLEASED ,I am with my experience with Dr. Alberto and her wonderful staff.

After reading so many bad reviews about this practice and group of oral surgeons, I'm now convinced…read morethe dentists/oral surgeons at this practice, and the billing/office manager, Bianca, definitely inflate and pad the estimate AND final bill with ambiguous and undisclosed up-charges & also up the ICD/CPT, or dental codes. The woman Diane supposedly the CEO, sends me an email terminating me from the practice! I wonder why?? Because this office is cleverly robbing people blind. I can't believe how many horrific reviews I read here that echo exactly the very same things I'm asserting they did to me. As a result of what happened to me, and others I see here, I posted my experience publicly on my facebook profile, and exactly what happened to me. This is outright FRAUD & UNTHICAL and they are getting away with it! It has to STOP!! They charged me for things that I'm not sure they even did since I was IV sedated with versed. The pretreatment estimate THEY RUSH and give to you in the dental chair, is definitely NOT accurate and inflated so your "out of pocket" cost is HIGHER, due AND up front & IN FULL, or they will cancel your procedure. It's insane how they operate and take advantage of people. That being said, it's been a week or so, and I had time to converse with Delta Dental only to find out these undisclosed, abbreviated and vague procedures I highlighted on the itemized receipt I asked for, were NOT covered by my dental insurance! I also had seen the legit and much more accurate estimate & processed claim they submitted when I went into my Delta Dental portal. They even had the audacity to have "supposedly", their lawyer email and tell me to remove the post (or else, lol) where I simply exercised my right to share the horrible experience there. I felt compelled to let my followers, friends, & family know what occurred and warn them NOT to ever go to this group of overly zealous practioners, who imo, cleverly engage in price gouging. Well they did it to the wrong person. I also told this tryrant lawyer this is my review on my Facebook "personal content creator" profile page and I'm not removing the truth about this seedy bunch of people who are supposed to be trusted professionals, at this office and group. I did agree to remove it from "public" viewing but only as a courtesy & certainly not because I felt intimidated by him. My story & what I experienced, just like others here, must be told. Apparently, I'm not the only one reporting them and filing ethics and consumer complaints about this practice. I also reported Dr Singer to the NJ board of Dentistry. We can't allow these elite dentists/oral surgeons to extort money and rip patients off like this. I was released from the practice ONLY because I'm on them and challenged them for the exorbitant amount they charged me in total and for the excess "out of pocket" expense of $1145.60 I paid, which exceeded the insurance company's "out of pocket" final estimate/claim, by over $200. What's worse is when Delta Dental told me just yesterday that 3 of these charges, weren't covered!! That means the "out of pocket" UP FRONT payment I made above, that they essentially demand and want in full, was in fact, $205.00 less, to be exact. If the added charges that were NEVER once DISCLOSED to me, were COVERED, my total out of pocket cost would've been 3X less. Had they just explained, clarified and told me this up front, I would've told them to go fly a kite and left!! That simple! Nonetheless I feel this is outright stealing. They already have my money, and soon, the insurance company's money too! I still plan to fight and relentlessly dispute these frivolous unsubstantiated uncovered charges, no matter what I have to do! I was fortunate that I was able to screenshot other similar, if not exact, reviews & complaints about this practice, in the event I need to pursue legal action to get reimbursed for the UNCOVERED charges highlighted below. Bottom line: There is a total lack of TRANSPARENCY at this facility, and the billing department's failure to provide ACCURATE PRETREATMENT ESTIMATES, FULL CLARIFICATION and DISCLOSURE of ALL CHARGES, PROCEDURES AND SERVICES "BEFORE" THEY ARE RENDERED. That's it!

So one night, I had a ridiculously painful situation, my last wisdom tooth was grinding against another tooth and developed a cavity where they met. Very painful. So I got a nerve block, saw my regular dentist and he took a xray and told me I need oral surgery after packing and sealing the affected area. So I scheduled the procedure at one of their offices. My first appointment, I took a day off from work, arranged for a ride, went to the facility, and they thought I was supposed to be in a different office. So I rescheduled. Weeks go by as I wait for the new appointment. I show up a second time, and they thought I cancelled the appointment. I do no such thing. The third time, the screwed up again. It took me getting on the phone, acting like a Karen, yelling at them for me to be seen. And then upon arrival, the rates that I expected to pay, they were now hundreds higher. If you are planning on using their main facility in Randolph, this has more doctors, but if you want to use a satellite office, don't waste your time. I am not the only person who this happens to - incompetent scheduling department, either incompetent or purposely misstating costs, and all around a bad experience. Avoid this practice. If your dentist is referring you, ask for another practice. Tell them you don't have time for fun and games, lying staff, bad schedules, and sitting down expecting one price and then learning its several hundred more on game day.

My story is like the story of many others out there when it comes to the dentist. I have been from…read moredentist office to dentist office... and they all have failed me... from doing poor work..to offering plans to help me but instead, they made matters worse.. all the way to making me feel like I was a paycheck sitting in their chair - giving me a real negative feeling anytime I had to get work done. Until now... I had some major dental work that needed to be done. I went on many consultations. I heard all kinds of different ways these dentists were going to give me the best treatment and do what was best for me.. in the back of my head and the pit of my stomach they all just seems off. Their explanations were harsh and it seemed like they didn't care. Until I met Dr. Di Lauri. From the moment I sat down with him, he was kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me my options and he made sure I was well informed. What really hit home for me was when he whole heartedly said to me "we're a team and we're in this together" What dentist has ever said that?? For me, it meant the world... like FINALLY someone cared. So I decided to give Dr. Di Lauri a chance. After a few appointments of getting X-rays etc... I became excited to start my treatment with him. Every visit was excellent. And let me tell you.. I usually DREAD going to the dentist.. I started my treatment with him and my first appointment took about 5 hours. The entire time I felt at ease. He constantly asked me if I was ok and if I had any pain. He talked me through the process, explaining everything he was doing. He handled my dental work with confidence and compassion. As a patient of many dentists, I have never said or felt that way before! Not only did Dr. Di Lauri do an amazing job, the work he did exceeded my expectations. He has literally given me my confidence back and has given me the ability to smile again .. like really, truly SMILE! I could rave on and on. The point is, if you've had horror stories about other dentists and you've just about given up on finding the right one... don't give up hope, Dr. Di Lauri is your guy!! Both Dr. Di Lauri and his office staff are truly the best I have ever seen.. and I've seen a lot! I would ONLY recommend Dr. Di Lauri to anyone and everyone I know who needs any kind of dental work. Thank you Dr. Di Lauri and your entire office from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me!
