Tough to find but worth the wait! Banquet style tables - neat and clean. (we are reviewing the food) I had lobster mofongo and sangria. Hubby had conch and octopus in garlic sauce - we are stuffed and happy we came! Both dishes were super flavorful and perfectly cooked :0) As with most places - you are on island time - so relax !

I had the salmon and it was pretty tasty. My lunch date ordered a few fried appetizers to try them out. The appetizers seemed okay (average deep fried taste options). My salmon was pretty good (cooked a little too long). Their homemade sauce was really good on the appetizers and my salmon. Ring the bell to get into the place (it may looked closed, but ring the bell and they will unlock the door for you). The GPS may take you to another location. It place is right on the beach. If you see two places show up on your map- head to the beach. This is a little restaurant tucked in a (lower income) residential area. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Not a lot of parking, so you may need to park on the road in the residential area.

When you get there, they buzz you in. To the left, a small bar; to the right, the dining room. There's a large TV with a recording of a Celine Dion concert playing right now. A little more variety in music would have been nice. The waiter said a few words in English but only just enough for me to get around the words I couldn't make out because of the accent of the local dialect. Luckily for those who don't know Spanish, the menu has English translations so point away if you need to! Everything we had was good. The pastelillo with fish was flavorful and came with a tomatoey sauce. The lobster soup was a bit pricey for just a bit of meat in mostly rice in a tomatoey broth, but tasty if you are into that sort of thing. Easy enough to make if you know how to cook though. The fish stuffed with lobster in garlic sauce was my favorite. It was tender and flavorful. Definitely worth trying! The octopus and conch (in salad) was also good but not actually a salad in the raw greens sense. Also worth a try. On sides: Mofongo and plantains were standard. Corn sticks were a bit sweet for my tastes.

Do not go with the map Yelp provides! This place is actually at the beach! Well with the search! We had the fried red snapper - outstanding!!!!!!!! We also had the rice with crab - extraordinary!!! For appetizers we had the fish soup, very good; also had a trunkfish turnover, also very good. To finish this feast off, we had a cheese flan - I think this has been the best flan I've had in a while! And prices are very reasonable! Lastly, our server was the best! Very friendly people!

A little hard to find. The sangrias are made on the premises and delicious! We started with a salad, small but right for a starter. They recommended the lobster because it was fresh, but it was really tough. Did not taste or feel fresh. The chicken breast was bland with no pizzaz to it. Tasted like boiled chicken with onions and pepper on top. Rice was cold, beans were super hot, like if they were microwaved. We visited on a Friday night, and only three tables, one which was occupied by parents drinking and kids running around like at McDonalds. They did have a good selection of beer and wine, but, we didn't have any. The ambiance is nicer than most places in the area, well air conditioned. We were hoping for excellent local food, but, didn't like it. Sorry.

Fresh delish and great service. We really enjoyed this meal just off the beach. Highly recommend!

Good food but slow service even for island standards. Over an hour from ordering until food arrived.

As we drove into the strip of restaurants by the ocean, we saw Bobby's Place with its open air dining area crowded with people right across from the water. We drove up the strip and walked back towards Bobby's Place. The line was long, always a good sign. We got the fried fish, mofongo with shrimp, and an arepa with shrimp. The fried fish was spectacular, lightly seasoned with salt and lime. We sat listening to the music coming from the street out of all the cars and motorcycles cruising the strip. Quite the experience!

In PR, it is common to have these shacks next to the beaches, malecones, where you can grab something to eat and drink a beer. We arrived here, after going to Monkey Island. We were starving and my father and I wanted to eat somewhere with a breeze and a view to the malecón. We ordered the mofongo con camarones and it was fresh and tasted amazing! They are very generous with the shrimp. If anyone is interested about going to Monkey Island, I went on a tour with "La Paseadora". The captain's name is Frank and he is very knowledgeable about the island, is an ex-Coast Guard captain and speaks English and Spanish fluently. He also does kayak, snorkel, dive and fish. His numbers are: 787-850-7881, 787-316-0441. I went in April 2018, and although the area of Humacao is still messy due to Maria, the malecón area of Naguabo was perfectly fine and ready for tourism again!
