Looking for fresh and great tasting food? This is the place! When I visit PR I always go to Naguabo for seafood. This place did impress. We ordered Pulpo (octopus) stuffed Mofongo, seafood mix stuffed Mofongo, shrimp in garlic stuffed Mofongo and chillo (grouper). Everything had amazing flavor and cook perfectly.

What an amazing beachside ambiance and certainly very amicable folks working the bar. We even met a gem of a Soul Mrs Bruni she actually owned the building and what a positive vibe she had truly an angelic soul. The bartender was exceptional in his role, the coconut mojitos were ridiculously flavor filled and not overly sweet, simply perfect. Probably the best in the island! Certainly worth the trip to pay then a visit! The food was just as good if not a tad better than most Kofi go spots on the island.

Food is good and service is good. Ambiance helps with the view. Atmosphere is casual.

As we drove into the strip of restaurants by the ocean, we saw Bobby's Place with its open air dining area crowded with people right across from the water. We drove up the strip and walked back towards Bobby's Place. The line was long, always a good sign. We got the fried fish, mofongo with shrimp, and an arepa with shrimp. The fried fish was spectacular, lightly seasoned with salt and lime. We sat listening to the music coming from the street out of all the cars and motorcycles cruising the strip. Quite the experience!

In PR, it is common to have these shacks next to the beaches, malecones, where you can grab something to eat and drink a beer. We arrived here, after going to Monkey Island. We were starving and my father and I wanted to eat somewhere with a breeze and a view to the malecón. We ordered the mofongo con camarones and it was fresh and tasted amazing! They are very generous with the shrimp. If anyone is interested about going to Monkey Island, I went on a tour with "La Paseadora". The captain's name is Frank and he is very knowledgeable about the island, is an ex-Coast Guard captain and speaks English and Spanish fluently. He also does kayak, snorkel, dive and fish. His numbers are: 787-850-7881, 787-316-0441. I went in April 2018, and although the area of Humacao is still messy due to Maria, the malecón area of Naguabo was perfectly fine and ready for tourism again!

I kept it factual and calm, without…read moreattacking anyone personally: We came to Super Benjy's Restaurant because of all the hype on TikTok and Instagram, especially around their lobster dishes. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to what's being promoted online. Before even going inside, we ordered a beer and immediately noticed the staff wasn't very friendly, which already gave us a strange first impression. Since we were already there, we decided to stay and give it a chance. Once seated, it took about 30 minutes for the young server to take our drink order. Because of the long wait, we felt pressured to place our food order right away. We ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the menu, the lobster Mar y Tierra, and sadly the food was overcooked and disappointing. During the meal, the server did not check on us. We asked multiple times for butter and were ignored, which made the experience frustrating and discouraging. Despite everything, I still left an $8 tip. Overall, the experience felt overrated and overhyped by social media. There are several other restaurants on the same street that offer much better food and service. This place has potential, but based on our visit, it didn't meet expectations. I left 2 stars 1 for the food and 1 for the service. The only good thing that was interesting in a nice way was the view and the view only.

El Coral is a combo seafood market downstairs and restaurant upstairs. You take some stairs around the back and you're in a whole different vibe: white walls, breezy blue accents and the wind blowing in just right to cut through that thick, humid air. We were ready to eat and chill and this place delivered. Service was friendly and laid-back but on point. I ordered the stuffed lobster and it came loaded with tender sliced octopus and juicy shrimp. Everything was spot on except the conch. That thing was like chewing on a flip-flop-so I pushed it to the side. My husband got the Chicharrones de Pollo, expecting the usual crispy, seasoned chunks. Instead, they were breaded which is not his thing. Still, the setting more than made up for it. Killer view, solid seafood and a perfect place to come down and grab tasty, garlicky food. Oh and the natural tropical juices like our Passion Fruit and Tamarindo, were outrageously fantastic.

They gave us a selection of sauces which are salad dressings like thousand Island and Italian, but also some that are dipping sauces, and a particular chimichurri that was heavy on cilantro which I particularly enjoyed with the New York strip. Service was also excellent with very friendly waitress. We got a bunch of fruit slushies that were all good and felt like they were made with real fruit juice. It was a cute restaurant with a level on the second floor overlooking into the bay. Nothing special on this island but certainly adds to the dining experience with fresh sea breeze and view.
