Tacos!

Across the street from a nice beautiful beach. The agua frescas were delicious! Service was good. Loved the tacos they were pretty big.

I'm visiting PR, and a colleague recommended I try this restaurant. The food was delicious. We ordered grouper bites, chicken monfongo, fried whole red snapper with peas and rice. The portions are large. We had to get a to go box. The staff is friendly. We are not fluent in Spanish; however, they were patient with us as we tried to speak it to them. The staff speaks English as well. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean.

The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was amazing. Def overpriced for the shrimp Alfredo and my daughter didn't like it. Too much Parmesan.

Fish tacos- really good

Our sit-down experience wasn't great as it took them 40 minutes to make fish tacos and an arepa... Food was tasty though. Fish tacos were fresh and came with lots of veggies. Seafood mixto was also fresh and the dough tasted like donuts. Obviously you can order a bunch of items at the counter which was way faster and fresher - highly recommend order to go! Also the location is great - near the water in the seven beach area.

We loved this place right off Seven Seas Beach! We were on the hunt for some paella, and boy did they deliver! It says paella for 2 but it fed the three of us two different meals and we still had left overs! The server said they they don't usually measure the rice though so I can't guarantee the serving will be that big every time. Also, the kitchen closes at 7pm during the week so get there before then to ensure you get a table and can enjoy their food. We loved everything we ordered, but the fried cheese with guava was my favorite appetizer.

Great food, great service! I will comeback again when I return to PR. We had a large gathering and they immediately took care of us. Very friendly and family friendly restaurant. Highly recommended it!

The manager Ricardo is the BEST!!!

My husband came to florida on our last vacation day for a family death. We were looking for a place to eat near the water and noticed a couple of folks eating outside, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the red snapper with tostones and my husband ordered fried chicken and tostones...all was flavorful, well cooked and delicious. The Manager Ricardo was great, he gifted us with coco empanadas. I have to say those empanadas were the best I have ever had! I highly recommend this place, the food and the view was amazing. Please do not judge this Gem of a place due to the rude, disrespectful front-end ladies!!! A must have

La comida estába fresca, sabor riquísimo, y la atención del los meseros fue buena y rápida!

Our server was great! He was attentive & welcoming & recommended various plates. The food was great & filling! The seating was nice as we were able to enjoy our food looking at the sunset.

Fish was overcooked. Food was a bit expensive for quality. Nice that it was at the beach.

Fair food and reasonable prices. Right on the beach. Service was also fair. Seating was immediate and food took just a little while.

We tried the pulpo (octopus) and carrucho (conch) arepas, and I can say the conch arepas at Costa Mia were THE BEST FOOD I've had in PR.

All things went well. The hostess was attentive indeed as…read morewe arrived and she was able to get us through a side door and into the inside air conditioning indoor area. We do travel with a wheelchair. The server was very good and well knowledgeable on the menu. He was even photographed in the menu. We ordered a couple cocktails as well as many appetizers. We didn't order any entrees, as our family likes to try many things. My wife's favorite is ceviche and she was impressed by this dish. (Order it) We also ordered fish bites. Solid choice as the guava sauce was memorable. La arepas de coconut. Solid. The fish empanadas were great. Definitely order those. But calamari was chewy and overcooked. I'd pass on this. Cocktails were amazing. Spicy margarita is spicy!! I had a mojito which was delicious. You won't go wrong with any cocktail. Server was great. He did mention to me that we should order soon as the kitchen will get busy. We waited as we were enjoying our dinner. (We didn't have any problems) I'd go back. I'd also suggest sticking to your plan. It's your evening and don't let service control the experience. At the end of it...you control the tip = thank you.

I also tried the coconut mojito on the rocks, which was a standout: refreshing, well-balanced, and served with fruit (strawberry, cherry, and blueberries) mixed in. My wife had the fish mofongo, which she felt was just okay--decent, but not particularly memorable. That said, overall this is a great dinner spot if you're in the area. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors; we opted to sit outside since the AC inside was a bit too cold. Definitely worth checking out for a relaxed meal and solid cocktails.

We stayed at the condos a couple minutes away so we decided to give them a shot based on the good reviews. Our waitress gave us all the best suggestions on the menu. I ordered the monfongo y camerones (shrimp) with the cilantro sauce. It was so good i almost ordered it twice just to take the second order home. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want some amazing Puerto Rican food.

My partner and I…read moretraveled from New York to Puerto Rico to visit his family for Thanksgiving week, and we decided to take his parents, siblings, and nephew out for a nice pre-Thanksgiving dinner. We saw Kalizo , thought it looked upscale and promising, and chose it for what was supposed to be a special family night. Instead, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was disrespectful and careless. We were a party of six, and the host simply pointed to a section and told us to "sit over there" -- no greeting, no walk-through. He dropped the menus on the table and walked away. We sat for over 20 minutes with no one approaching us for drinks or orders. We had to stop multiple staff members just to ask, "Can we please get a waiter?" Each time we were told someone was coming, but no one did. When the waiter finally showed up, he acted rushed, uninterested, and dismissive. He kept telling us that several items we wanted were "not available," rushing us to pick something else. I ended up ordering something quick because I honestly didn't know if he'd ever come back. Meanwhile, there were only about three other tables occupied, and we noticed something very uncomfortable: The English-speaking white customers were getting A1 treatment -- constant refills, servers checking in on them, drinks delivered correctly, food synchronized -- everything. Our table, where we were mostly speaking Spanish with my partner's family, was basically ignored. Our drinks came out wrong. Refills took three or more requests. Food came out one plate at a time, so half the table was done eating before the rest of us even received our meals. My plate was missing the sides and sauces it came with. I had to physically get up and find someone to ask for them. At one point, after asking three times for a Sprite refill, I just stood up and went straight to someone and said, "Can you please just bring me a Sprite can, a to-go box, and the check?" because I had enough. The food itself? Not good. Definitely not worth the price. And the service? Terrible. A woman who worked there quietly apologized to us and said she saw everything happening, but she couldn't intervene because she wasn't a server. That says enough about the environment. Overall, it felt like we were treated differently simply because they assumed we were locals or because we were speaking Spanish. Meanwhile, the tables of English-speaking tourists got excellent service. What was supposed to be a nice family dinner turned into a frustrating, embarrassing, and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place, especially if you're expecting fair service or celebrating something special.
