I definitely expected fresh fish that was cooked correctly, but it had the texture of rubber. It was very disappointing, since it was around $30 per person. My niece was able to hold her piece of fish up like a stick when it should have fallen apart, been flaky and tasty. Two people requested churrasco and it was overcooked, didn't taste like churrasco should taste, and was generally poor. We will not be back.

They are very generous with the shrimp. If anyone is interested about going to Monkey Island, I went on a tour with "La Paseadora". The captain's name is Frank and he is very knowledgeable about the island, is an ex-Coast Guard captain and speaks English and Spanish fluently. He also does kayak, snorkel, dive and fish.
