None of which followed through with anything. Never returned calls and when they did call to set up appointments, they either didn't show, or showed up promising an estimate, never to be seen or heard from again. Luke, the owner, went above and beyond my expectations. My first call, I was called back almost instantly. He came when he said he would ON TIME!! He set dates , which unfortunately had to be changed 3 times. (Rain) But.... He texted, emailed or called. There was total communication from the very beginning. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to deal with someone who has work ethics. Who actually cares about the client. Before and after pictures will follow soon. Waiting for things to settle and grow. Thank you Luke!!

If I could give Scapeworks Landscaping 10 stars, I absolutely would!…read more I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and the incredible work they do. They maintain both my business property and my home, and their attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability are truly unmatched. My business is tucked away in a wooded area of Wallingford, surrounded by bamboo, lush greenery, and what can sometimes feel like an actual jungle! Somehow, Scapeworks manages to keep everything beautifully maintained without losing the natural charm that makes the property so special. They've turned what could easily become an overgrown mess into something that looks like a little fairy garden hidden in the woods. It's absolutely beautiful! They also maintain my home, showing up like clockwork every single week and leaving the property looking impeccable. Even the little things matter to them, like making sure my gates are always securely closed so my dogs can't escape. That kind of thoughtfulness and consistency means so much to me. But what really sets Scapeworks apart is how they came to my rescue during an absolute nightmare at my business. I had hired another contractor to construct a retaining wall and renovate my parking lot. Unfortunately, the work was done improperly, critical steps were skipped, and within just weeks of completion, the wall and surrounding area were already showing serious signs of erosion and failure. What should have been an improvement to my property had turned into an expensive, stressful, and potentially dangerous situation. Scapeworks stepped in and quite literally saved the day. They took on the enormous task of correcting another contractor's mistakes, addressing the safety concerns, and transforming my parking lot into something not only structurally sound and functional, but beautiful. And they managed to do all of this under an incredibly tight deadline! I honestly cannot express how grateful I am. As a business owner, having contractors you can actually trust is invaluable, especially after experiencing what happens when you hire the wrong ones. Scapeworks is dependable, punctual, hardworking, knowledgeable, and genuinely takes pride in the quality of their work. They don't just show up and do the bare minimum. They care about the finished product, the safety of your property, and the people they're working for. From routine landscaping to major property improvements, I would trust them with absolutely anything. If you're looking for a landscaping company that goes above and beyond, look no further. Scapeworks has earned a customer for life. Ten stars from me!

Most recently they installed some new flat bluestones over top of a previously pea gravel patio which they installed a few years ago. Dan is a creative, caring, and communicative business owner. His team, led by Seth, was an absolute pleasure to work with - they did a truly fantastic job and were so nice and helpful throughout. After they were done, we had a small issue with drainage (because right after they laid down the patio, there were torrential downpours for days, not allowing our pavers to settle). I'm not kidding when I say within five minutes of emailing Dan on a Friday evening to let him know, he called us to say he and Seth were coming over right away to take a look. Because of continued bad weather, they had to come back a few times over the next few weeks to make sure everything was good. Yes, they made our patio a little slice of heaven, but we were actually the most impressed with their post-project attentiveness and customer-focused desire to make everything right. Now we have a perfect space and can't wait to enjoy it over the summer! Highly, highly recommend!
