Last fall I had some shingles blow off my roof and needed it repaired ASAP before it rained. I called several roofers and none of them would come over for a small repair within less than a week. Some said they only repair the roof if they installed it. I got Carl's name from a neighbor, and he came over the next day and patched the roof, and then confirmed what I already knew; that I would need a new roof sooner than later. This spring I called around for quotes for a new roof. Carl and Daniel's quote was the least expensive by several thousand dollars. They used all the same materials and methods, with architectural shingles and Owens Corning ice & water shield, etc., as what was specified in the most expensive quote. The crew was very considerate - they had to use our neighbor's driveway for their ladders and removal of some of the roofing material, and we have a lot of plants alongside the house. They built a special wooden protection platform over the plants and were very thorough about cleaning the driveway when done. They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with.

That is important to us, knowing she is representing us every step of the way through the complex process of selling a home. I also knew she truly cares about her clients and does everything she can to help them (I don't know how she manages to get so much done every day!), but what I didn't expect was that so many of all the people that expressed interest in our home also recognized she is all above board and would open up to her about their thoughts and plans. When everyone is relaxed and trusting through the process of a major sale, it makes everything go so much more smoothly! The Gods were smiling upon us when we met Noha Soliman. From…read more the first moment we knew she was highly educated, very approachable and had impressive communication skills as well as a warm smile. What we were to learn over the next 6 months of house hunting was that she was so much more. If you are like us you know little about real estate-- you JUST want to buy a great new place AND sell your old house. Little do you know how much needs to happen and how much work and effort goes into making your dream come true.  This is the work and effort that a good agent can save you from. And that's exactly what she did: she looked out for our interests in countless ways. Her professionalism was outstanding: she responded to every question of ours with the exact information we needed; her knowledge of the Greater Boston market is exceptional; her marketing expertise is amazing; her patience with clients like us (perplexed, sometimes confused, often overwhelmed with all the particulars) is remarkable. It was thanks to Noha that we got several offers for the house we wanted to sell. It was also thanks to her that we were the winners among the  parties bidding for our new property: she put together  an offer on our behalf that the sellers "couldn't refuse". What's more: Noha has built an impressive network of specialists to support every step of your way toward buying a new property and/or selling the old one: mortgage bankers; a legal team; a team of decorators and others to make the house you want to sell look its best. "We were referred to you by Noha Soliman" was our code for getting the most speedy and professional service with every aspect of the transaction. There are, however, two more skills that make Noha an exceptional agent. One is her intuition. Every instinct she had re pricing, timing, staging, or any other strategy was "on the money". Presumably, this instinctual competence comes from years and years of working in real estate. The other attribute that separates her from other agents is her love and knowledge of houses: their architecture, interior decor, landscaping and the myriad of legal details associated with P & S. Noha earned our respect for life. Lucky is every client whom she will agree to represent.

She really worked hard to make sure that I my concerns were addressed and that I felt safe! Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to move into the unit; I eventually had to move out of state due to worsening concerns about my safety with my Landlord. Well it was a series of events that got my hopes up only to lead to disappointment soured my experience. Also they don't really have much inventory. I will say that this company has the lowest "fee" for the place we were looking out of any of the other agencies. It was just a straight forward credit report from Experian that you could keep and use for future applications $15/person. (However, we all know all the other agencies won't trust you. They want you to fritter your money to pay a fee for their arbitrary credit report.) Then the usual stuff like pay stubs, W2 and references from previous landlord. I found a listing (too late) on Zillow for an ideal location with reasonable price, and she still agreed to show it to us which was nice since the property owners were still vetting candidates. She also tried to push this other undesirable (and overpriced) apartment that had been on the market for months in lieu of the current one. I can't help but feel like she just wanted to show more qualified candidates for consideration to boost her and the agency's reputation - when all along they were going to pick the first applicant anyway (to avoid potential accusations of discrimination). She even set up a meeting with the Property Managers for a small interview at their office location after hours. Regrettably she informed us that they chose the other applicant since they were equally qualified. I thought that the "dream place" slipped through our fingers. We asked her to keep us in mind for other rental units with similar stats, but we never heard from her again. Thankfully we got in touch with another realty group and found something else around the same price point. The absolute best part was that not even a month after we moved in we received an e-mail from Michelle and she said the same property was now available again for rental at the start of the following month! We let her know we found something else, but we were curious what happened. Of course I understand that she doesn't want to reveal what happened, but it's truly funny how things work out sometimes.
