We found a property that she listed on Craig's List, but didn't immediately call about it because there were no pictures posted. After getting discouraged by some other apartments we looked at, we decided it was worth a long shot and it couldn't be any worse than the other places we saw, so we called the number and left a message. Jenniefer responded to my message quickly - within an hour or two, and worked with our schedule to set up a time to see the apartment. We absolutely fell in love with the place. I'm glad there were no pictures posted, as some one else would have snapped it up before we ever got the chance if they'd seen how great it is. We had some less-than-perfect financial background, but Jenniefer assessed us based on her years as a realtor and our most recent rental history and information provided, and was happy to recommend us to the landlord as desirable tenants. I really appreciated that she was understanding about our financial background (mostly mine) and recommended us so highly to the landlord. She worked on Easter Sunday between family obligations to get the lease prepared so that we could review it ahead of time, and set up a meeting with the landlord quickly so that we could discuss everything and so that we would all be comfortable with the arrangements. Both Jenniefer and the landlord were flexible with the initial up-front cash requirements and addressed all of our lease concerns. I was completely comfortable with signing the lease and paying her fee. I was skeptical in the beginning, but now I believe - if you need to rent an apartment, Jenniefer is the person to help you. She has great local listings and my new landlord turned out to be an absolute sweetheart, so I feel that she works with quality people. If you need to find a place, start here. You won't regret it. Warning, though: While Jenniefer is an awesome and sweet lady, she's not the most organized rental agent I've met with. She showed us the place that night and it was much better than expected and we instantly saw ourselves there. I called Jennifer the next day to see if the apartment was still available, she said it was, we looked at a couple other so-so places and I got a phone call from her that night that she talked to landlord and they were willing to lower the rent! Although we had to pay the whole fee, it was absolutely worth it because we got a great deal and a very nice apartment. Jennifer is not like the typical agents you see with those obnoxious ads in Craigslist. She's a professional agent who knows the industry and although she can seem a little un-organized, when it comes to real estate she knows the laws and makes you feel very comfortable with your decision.
