Open house consultations are not a guarantee for desired treatment and requested outcomes…read more Therefore, the correct procedure is advised after the fact: the open house prices are not honored, leaving you to pay full price anyway. If you do not agree to being gauged, they' will gladly let you apply monies paid toward other services. So when all faith and trust is lost, so is your money, because they do not issue refunds. My takeaway is that Open house consultations,, the recommendations, and purchases are not credible; so save yourself the anguish and skip the festivity or know exactly what you need beforehand.

The single worst experience of my life. 30 days down the road I am still experiencing daily and nightly pain and the aftermath (PTSD) of what a challenge it will be to recover mentally, emotionally and spiritually from the nightmare that it was and still is. That said, my experiences at ReGenesis (three visits to date) have been a very bright and shining light thanks to Dr. Pritcher and the nurses who have assisted in redressing the five large wounds. In particular I want to recognize Raini. She came in to help even though she basically is the nurse for one of the other docs and in the next two visits was willing to be my nurse since it has been such a challenge to wrap my mind around the damage to my body and psyche and I was so at ease with her beautiful nurse-side manner and techniques. I scheduled to have the 83 stitches removed there because of the kind and gentle and expert treatment I received when cleansing and redressing the wounds a week into the injuries. Their office staff member Vandy has been so kind and thoughtful - she was so patient getting before and after photos and made sure she had a chance to check on me today when I went in for the last assessment before the 3 month visit in April. She is a gem and I am forever grateful that these people entered my life exactly when I needed reassurance and encouragement. Between these two lovely human beings I was able to walk out today feeling comforted and hopeful that things will get better. They are so patient listening to my thoughts and answering my questions, extending compassion and wisdom and advice for self wound care. They could have suggested I go for these follow ups to my primary care facility but instead were so gracious and generous with their time and more than willing to go above and beyond in caring for me: I felt compelled to be there because of the depth of experience they all have with wound (incision for the cosmetic side of their practice) care. It is such a gift to feel so validated in a very busy medical office. These two ladies have been instrumental in giving me some measure of peace when I have been so sad and angry. I cannot speak highly enough of the personal care I received - never rushed and with the full attention and focus and the highest level of professionalism and human kindness. I would give them all ten stars if that was available. Thank you, Dr. Pritcher, Raini and Vandy (including Cara in the billing office and several other unnamed staff members.) I will be forever grateful to all of you for making what has been an almost intolerable (and very frightening) attack somehow better. You are all angels.

They are on defense immediately if you want to be you own advocate. The doctor knew he was not truly listening to me because he said it himself "my patients say I dont listen to them" instead of correcting it, his ego reared up and he said hey Im the doctor here, you came to me for an opinion. No.. I wasnt looking for an opinion, I was looking for someone to fix the problem and/or give a diagnosis. When I asked if the Xray is going to be best; he stated I need the XRay if he was going to treat me and when I clarified the question intent was if something like an MRI would be better, he said XRays tell more than I know. But news to him, I do know more than he thinks. MRI will see bone and soft tissue, Xray wont. I tried to tell him where exactly the pain is and he shut me down. The nursing staff evidently made it clear to several others that I was a handful maybe because I want to be my own advocate not go through and bow down to all the unnecessary testing which everyone thinks they need because Healthcare says more tests more money. I just wanted to be treated better.

When in depth questions were asked, one staff member rolled her eyes when I had concerns over cost discussions. I had concerns about surgery. A person should be able to feel free to have questions answered. When I advised my observations about the Clinic caring more about income than patient care, this did not go over well. When asked if I wanted to complete the surgery, I said I needed to consider. The doctor told me he would not perform it. I made the correct choice not staying with this Clinic. I saw another XV doctor who ensured the surgery would be of benefit by having me wear compression stockings for a month to ensure the surgery would be of benefit. This Clinic said most don't wear as prescribed so we would forgo and move direct to surgery. I wish this Clinic well, but I made the correct choice to seek this type of care elsewhere. I've heard rave reviews about their cosmetic work though.

I have visited his office three times in the past month, and I'm sad to say that each time I had to interact with his office manager Lisa, she was condescending, curt, and dismissive. It was a best/worst case experience. Great doctor. Lousy office office manager.

The first insult- apparently I did so poorly on the eye test when covering one eye at a time that she said "do you have a CO drivers license" when I said yes she said, "I don't know how you got that with your vision". I was of course shocked that my distance vision was not okay and she could tell by my facial expression and yet she said, "you were way off. Not even close" when I read the chart from a distance. The Dr came in and asked what my goals were and I explained I wish I could see close up and his response was "so you want to be able to see close and have terrible distance vision". I felt like answering - yes that's exactly what I wanted. I always research with Yelp and I obviously did not this time. His reviews are horrible. Don't go there.

The office's claim of excellent customer service could not be further from the truth. The office staff attempted to double bill her and only reluctantly, after half an hour of arguing and 2 separate visits, confirmed that she had already paid the bill. She even had the cancelled check as proof. Beware of this office if you want to be treated with respect and dignity. She has since had her other cataract removed by a world class eye surgeon at Wills Eye and has had a totally wonderful experience that could not be more opposite from Dr. Oster.
