After waiting roughly a month and a half to see a dietitian I was called shortly before my…read moreappointment and told it was canceled. The reason they gave me is that Aetna would only cover my appointment if I had kidney disease or diabetes. I have NAFLD, chronic hepatitis, and possibly chronic pancreatitis. They waited until it was nearly time for my appointment before letting me know this. Healthcare delayed is healthcare denied. I have no idea, the kind of care they provide.

I saw a NP by the name of Kathryn McCullough and she was fantastic!! She talked with me for a long time to understand my medical history, prescribed me my necessary medications, and submitted a referral for me. She was genuinely kind and patient, and we even spoke about how we both got to Grand Junction. Her assistant was very nice as well. I am so happy I found this place.

My husband was in pain for those 5 weeks we waited. Totally unacceptable way to treat people who need medical attention. When I called back to see if another doctor in the practice could take him, they once again refused to help me.

I went to the ER and on their discharge papers that they gave me, they wanted me to go to my primary doctor within a week. I called Monday, got an appointment set up for Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. Due to unforeseen construction on the Redlands, we were 10 minutes late to our appointment and they turned us away and told us we had to reschedule to another day. Keep in mind I had a massive accident (skull fracture, forehead, swelling face is purple with bruises) but I could not get in to see my doctor. Now I need to see a doctor who is unaware of my previous medical issues and knows nothing about me, all because I was 10 minutes late. I know she has a job to do, but should there not be exceptions? Especially to someone that came in looking like me. Where was the compassion?

Their moods go from "What can we do for you? We're here to help."" to "We're obligated to see you because we have an agreement with the state." Leaves a sour taste in your mouth to be treated like a second-class citizen.
