We had never heard of this so we looked into it and called the phone number that was conveniently located on the website. I say conveniently because usually it's impossible to find any sort of contact information other than a "contact us" form that may or may not be answered. The phone number connected me to Econcept and my call was answered right away. Sharon, an account manager, was very friendly and explained the process of how they came to alert us of our review. She transferred me to the owner, Robbie, who spent more than 30 minutes with me on the phone. Having worked for Yelp in the past, he helped me understand how reviews are filtered and how to best address a negative review. In our case, we are trying to have the review removed because the customer posted inaccurate information about our pricing. Robbie knows the ins and outs of marketing and social media and was a great help to us. He took a very complicated (for us) situation and made it easy to understand and handle. His business concept is genius- collect business reviews from all social media platforms and combine them on one, easy to navigate website. That way, busy business owners only need to go to one site to manage all reviews! He also does website design and social media management. I liked his approach and scheduled the work to be done. He is a very honest and conscientious gentleman, did a fabulous job and charged me for the time it took him. She didn't tell me - until we were deep into the process - that she farmed the work out to India. When there were errors - and ohmygoodness were there errors ... Not just measly old typos - too many to count - but the same content repeated in wrong places; somebody else's site showing up on mine; and repeated requests for the same corrections; I'd get the most abrupt unprofessional "got it" responses - my staff would read her emails and crack up... Well, you get the picture. I was gonna use her for marketing - can't comment on that - but web design - or even a simple "I'm sorry;" - consider yourself lucky that she's sending your hard-earned dollars to India; oh, wait, you can do that yourself, right? But when she's happy, as in after you've paid her, she does have a sense of humor. One GOLD star for that!
