I don't write many reviews, AT ALL, but these guys deserve it. They made me THE BEST BUSINESS CARD EVER! Ok so... They have a retail location on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, that's how I found them. It's quaint and right across from the brand new Ralph's. Before deciding, I literally spent hours, over several trips, in the store looking at samples and considering card/foil combinations. Ronna was so nice and never once impatient with me. She introduced me to her husband, Murray, who started the business in the 70's. I had such a great experience. I ended up going with a platinum silver credit card with metallic silver foil. And it came out amazing. They don't print anything with ink, they make you a custom plate of your design and use heat transfer to embed it on to your card. The finished product came out brilliant. People literally would ask me 'This is your business card?' And more often than not, I heard 'This is the best business card I've ever seen.' I can't lie about these things. 25% student discount on foil stamped specialty cards. I like transparent cards but I don't think its practical to have business cards made of brushed aluminum and carbon fiber. I have been a customer for several years, I will start with saying that I didn't know a business card could grow my business. 0 stars and if I could give negative stars I would've...I called this company for info and the guy who answered the phone first off had a rude tone...after explaining to him I have a design to be printed he says in technical terms we don't do that....well i'm sorry but i don't understand the business card lingo, can you explain?...we print on hard plastics, he says...ahhh cool ok well do u have this color I asked...his reply was go on our website, i believe your job is not for us....REALLY...bad business and I didn't even stop in and I was 2 blocks away...seems loke mot much but his attitude and bow my situation was handled is just NO GOOD...you are open to the public and these are questions you should answer...it was a 1 minute call with specific yes or no questions...AND after looking at the website your company has, you suit my jobs needs perfect and I needed a lot printed in different forms but, thanxz for saving me the frustration with that attitude.....smh... read more
