I had to ask multiple times to actually see the dentist and get my cavities fixed, even though they knew that was the reason I made the appointment. During the procedure, I had to endure the dentist and assistant gossip about another one of the workers there. Dr. Logan even had the audacity to complain to my face that he didn't have time to drink his coffee because I had cavities. The dental hygienist was trying to get me to get braces without knowing anything about my orthodontic history. And now, over 3 months later, they are calling me telling me I owe them money even though I paid them the full amount they charged me at the time. Would absolutely steer clear of this place.

I'm very pleased so far: they're on time, prompt, thorough, and attentive. My cleaning was fantastic, one of the best I've had in years. Dr Ryan has done a great job with a filling and starting the work on a crown I needed: it's been pain-free, and all explained as I go along. And the front-of-office staff are super, too. They worked with me when I was changing my insurance coverage, and helped me maximize the benefit. They rang me a week after my temporary crown just to see how I was feeling (no discomfort at all, as it happens). And they'll give you vouchers for free parking at the Purdys Wharf parkade, too.

I could not be more thrilled with my choice! First of all, the office is very slick and modern and they are very high-tech. They do everything on the computer and appear to have lots of neat dental software to get the job done, which is refreshing (my last clinic was kind of stuck in the 1990's, honestly). You can book appointments online, and they will even email and text you reminders for appointments - as a busy, mobile person permanently attached to either a computer or smartphone, I really appreciate the convenience. The staff is all super nice here and really make you feel comfortable. I can't remember the name of the hygienist who did my cleaning but she was SO warm and friendly and clearly explained everything she was doing, which took a great deal of anxiety out of the process. The office is small with a rather cramped waiting area, but you can sign yourself in via touch screen rather than wait for the receptionist. While tiny, the waiting area is actually quite nice with dark, faux-leather chairs and warm browns throughout. Dr. Russell herself is efficient and friendly, and gets you in and out as quickly as possible, which I appreciate! Her assistants are also friendly and professional. The only issue is that she sees patients only one day a week, Friday. (She also teaches at Dal and works at the IWK.) While this can be an inconvenience, it's a small one for seeing a good, professional doctor.
