From the moment I walked in to discuss moving our records to Bishop's Landing Dental Center, I knew we had found our new dentist. We were genuinely welcomed and made to feel like we had always been patients here. My first dental visit was a routine cleaning. Molly was kind and gentle and very professional. My next visit was for a dental exam with Dr. Hassan. In all my 63 years, I have never had such a thorough and complete oral exam! Dr Hassan is not only a great dentist but he is a lovely human. I had some very minor work done and thanks to both Dr Hassan and Kim, his dental assistant, my usual nervousness in a dental office was calmed. I highly recommend Dr Hassan and his Dental Practice.

I barely know that they are working in my mouth, I feel pretty relaxed. And I've never had any issues post-procedure. I've had my share of dental work done. They are also happy to fit you in on short notice or if you need something quickly checked on. He doesn't push services on you like some other dentists, with that being said, I will say that it is good to be in touch with your own mouth/teeth and bring up any concerns, because as I've mentioned he is a little more on the quiet side, and quite the opposite of other dentists in a sense that he is not tossing suggestions and procedures at you like other dentists seem to do, which is kind of nice.. because sometimes too much unnecessary work done in the mouth can lead to problems that were never there to begin with. Dr Raj is a happy medium I would say! I've had fillings, filling replacements and a two crowns, next up..a bite plate!

During the procedure, I had to endure the dentist and assistant gossip about another one of the workers there. Dr. Logan even had the audacity to complain to my face that he didn't have time to drink his coffee because I had cavities. The dental hygienist was trying to get me to get braces without knowing anything about my orthodontic history. And now, over 3 months later, they are calling me telling me I owe them money even though I paid them the full amount they charged me at the time. Would absolutely steer clear of this place.

Deceptive and money hungry…read more I went in for a single filling. As soon as they found out I had good plan coverage, they lead me through a series of assistants and evaluation procedures. One after the other never getting to the actual dentist. They claimed because it was my first visit at their office, that they need to set up a proper evaluation and file. In the end they took 3 hours of my time and charged me $1000 for a single filling, the rest being the billing padding done by the assistants. Luckily I paid $200, my 20% of the bill, the rest was covered by the plan. Any other dentist would have charged less than $200 and my share would have been 20% of that. Stay away from this place. And remember you pay for your plan coverage and it is based on billing to the plan members. You pay in the end.

A new dentist, a woman, told me it was time for a crown on one of my molars. She did such a terrible job, she created a large gap between my teeth...a food trap. I was having discomfort from day one, I even delayed paying them because my tooth was causing me pain. I found a new dentist that helped filled the gap, treated me with respect. This new dentist has now advised me that decay is now to the bone. I now have to have a very expensive procedure that involves an implant. They have coffee while you wait, which I thought was weird.. coffee breath? Not really something I want right before someone digging in my mouth, but it's a nice touch. The Hygienist is nice and knows her stuff. As for my dentist? She could be my best friend. She is amazing. So friendly and genuine in her interactions with you. She also worked with me and my dental plan so that she didn't go over. She explained what was going on with my teeth, showed me photos (which I thought was cool) during the process of filling a tooth. Gross and awesome all at the same time. She's constantly checking in while working on your teeth to make sure you're doing okay and diligent with keeping your airways clear! If you get fillings and have to wear "the raincoat" you know what I'm talking about. Her dental assistant is also a sweet heart. They are an awesome team, the whole lot of them. I can't lie, I thought the building was pretty sketchy on the outside but I would 100% recommend anyone who needs a dentist going here. I went from my past dentist, who I will keep unknown to you, to Evergreen Dental. Evergreen dental have phenomenal dentists and hygienists. They won't gouge your pockets, or neglect something that shouldn't be neglected. They are honest, trustworthy, funny, and they truly care about their clients. I've changed dentists a year ago and switched to Evergreen, I can tell you now, a year later, I made the right choice. Very nice atmosphere, TVs overhead and headphones. Not sure about the remote, can't remember that part lol. I wish you all the best at your visit or search for a new dentist and recommend Evergreen Dental as a 5 star dentist office.

The office is small with a rather cramped waiting area, but you can sign yourself in via touch screen rather than wait for the receptionist. While tiny, the waiting area is actually quite nice with dark, faux-leather chairs and warm browns throughout. Dr. Russell herself is efficient and friendly, and gets you in and out as quickly as possible, which I appreciate! Her assistants are also friendly and professional. The only issue is that she sees patients only one day a week, Friday. (She also teaches at Dal and works at the IWK.) While this can be an inconvenience, it's a small one for seeing a good, professional doctor.
