At our initial consultation on June 12, he was polite but seemed rushed and didn't spend much time discussing details. Still, he offered to perform the procedure at a reasonable price, so I decided to move forward. The surgery itself went smoothly, but recovery was incredibly painful. I couldn't stand upright for weeks. By January, I noticed swelling in my upper abdomen, which I initially assumed was just part of the healing process. Unfortunately, the bulge continued to grow rapidly, and I knew something wasn't right. I called Dr. Madry's office and was told he was leaving the country and wouldn't be available for another two weeks. At that point, the swelling was about the size of a lemon and getting bigger every day. When I expressed my concern, I was shocked by how I was treated. The office staff was dismissive, defensive, and even blamed me for not coming in sooner. Dr. Madry later called me from overseas and also made me feel shamed and at fault. They referred me to another surgeon at Good Shepherd who was covering for him, but I was told he wouldn't be able to see me for another week. Meanwhile, the bulge had grown to the size of a grapefruit. After some research, I realized I was likely dealing with a seroma--a fluid-filled pocket left behind after surgery. As a professional photographer, this growing mass made it extremely difficult to work. In desperation, I contacted my previous surgeon in Chicago, Dr. Michael Lee, who drained a significant amount of fluid from the area. I continued to see him for repeat aspirations--about ten times--until it became clear that this was not sustainable financially or logistically. Emotionally drained and hesitant to return to Dr. Madry after my experience, I resorted to draining it myself every few days. It's a painful and risky process, involving sterilizing the area and inserting a four-inch needle into my abdomen. Dr. Lee has now advised that I'll need another surgery to permanently resolve the seroma. It will cost $5,000 and require two weeks off work. I've had over ten surgeries in my life and never had any issues--until now. This has been my worst medical experience. Not only is the seroma still present, but the incision from the tummy tuck is large and poorly done. I also continue to have significant swelling that gives the appearance of a pot belly--on top of the seroma in my upper abdomen. Looking back, I deeply regret not investing in a more experienced and compassionate surgeon. I wish I had paid more for someone who would've treated me with care and delivered better results. This has been emotionally, physically, and financially devastating.

I scheduled a consultation in February, after the Doctor listened to my concerns, she recommended a Halo Laser treatment to promote collagen growth combined with BBL for dark spots spots due to aging. While she made recommendations that would give me the best long term results, she completely respectful of my right to make the decision. I was extremely anxious about a laser treatment because I had a fraxel laser treatment a number of years ago that resulted in scarring that was slow to heal. I was worried about downtime and potential damage. Dr. B told me downtime was 5 days and I am a slow healer so I was skeptical. I asked about the number of procedure they had done and they definitely had the completed significant number so I chose the Halo Laser with BBL for my face, neck and chest. I recommend Halo because the procedures are doctor supervised and the treatments were performed by a laser technician that had done over 100 procedures. My face, neck and chest were numbed and I thought the procedure was minimally painful, and the discomfort was tolerable. Included in the treatment plan were medications that would minimize related ancillary issues, i.e. cole sores, swelling. Additionally they included products to speed recovery. Over and above, I got a text message the next day, SUNDAY, to check on me and asked for pictures to see my progress! The practice followed up for the next days. I have had procedures with other doctors and couldn't even get a call back so I thought this was exceptional. True to their word, I was able to be on a Zoom call three days later. My tenacious brown spots disappeared or were significantly lightened. My eye area looks better and it takes several months to fully appreciate the benefits of collagen growth. My friend said I looked refreshed, relaxed and overall better. I highly recommend the Halo Laser and BBL treatment and this is the place to go.

They are so nice, down to earth and did a great job making me feel comfortable. The first day I called to set up a consultation time they were nice enough to facetime me for my first meeting because I am in Ohio. They explained everything to me and even showed me all kinds of before and afters. I feel like he really listened to me and my husband and what we both wanted out of this surgery. One reviewer said they didn't think the staff was very friendly- I felt like the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I know that 2 of the girls were new so maybe Dr. Kotis made a change. But I have no complaints about anyone we worked with during our time here. The day of surgery Christina was nice enough to make me a little baggie of goodies. My surgery was pretty easy, recovery was decent (I'm 3 weeks and 2 days out and feel pretty good and my boobs look awesome). They gave us great recommendations for while we were in town and he even came to us for my post op appointment! My only complaint is that when you text him he isn't the best at answering. I feel like hes probably just so busy he doesn't have time. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and I will absolutely be going back!

With his lot of experience, he showed me past work similar to my goals, which made it the best consultation I've had. He reassured me regarding his techniques and fast recovery, all of which turned out to be true. I felt so comfortable that I booked my appointment right away and had the surgery the following week. I am now post-surgery and my breasts look like me, but better. I highly recommend him, along with his staff, especially Kari who was very nice, and the anesthesiologist who was also great. My pain was 4/10 when I first got home, but after taking my medicine, it stayed at a 0. Having zero pain was amazing, and although I have extreme soreness, he was definitely soft with me. But much worse than the cosmetic disappointment is that I lost 100% hearing and developed severe tinnitus in one ear immediately following the procedure. Dr. Kotis never even met with me when I tried to arrange follow up meetings to discuss these concerns. He was always coincidentally sick or out of town at the time of each appointment, and instead had his associates meet with me, who of course insisted my problems were totally unrelated to his surgery. Obviously something went horribly wrong, but he would never admit or accept any responsibility.
